Georgie was so helpful! When everything was getting stressful or delayed for other reasons, she was always chasing for us trying to get us closer to completion.

I have recently bought my first home and it was sold through Manning Stainton. My experience with them was all positive, they were always quick at getting back to me and they checked in with me during the whole process. The seller solicitors were really dragging their heels but Manning helped by chasing them on their side.
When I picked up my keys I also got a first home welcome box filled with lovely goodies!
Thought out the whole process they seemed to really care and made me feel I could ask them anything.

We recently purchased a house which was marketed by Manning Stainton. Our experience was mixed. The main negative was that they were incredibly difficult to get hold of, whether it was to arrange a viewing of a property, place an offer on a property, or discuss the ongoing purchase of a property. More often than not, any call to Manning Stainton required us to leave a voicemail and wait for a call back, which isn't ideal when buying, and I can imagine is far from ideal when selling.

A further negative was that the pictures of the property really didn't do it justice. We didn't really bat an eyelid at the house we ended up buying until we'd looked at plenty of others that appeared far better. Most other estate agents seem to make use of professional photographers, whereas with Manning Stainton it seems most property's photographs are taken on a mobile phone and often don't do a particularly good job of showcasing the best features.

The positive though (and the reason for all of the three stars awarded) is Ann, who was our point of contact once our offer was accepted. Ann did a wonderful job of keeping us updated as to progress, chasing down any enquiries we had, and managing our relationship with the seller to ensure that things progressed as smoothly as possible. If the rest of Manning Stainton's service was to Ann's standards, it would have been a far more positive review!
