Appalling quality, not as described and damaged product!
We paid £280 for the largest size map in a brushed aluminium frame! The frame is plastic and was broken when unwrapped. The map itself has been bent and has a huge line across it and to top it all the hanging hooks have been fitted at the bottom, so even if it wasn’t broken & damaged it could only be hung upside down!! Let’s hope customer service is better!!

I can confirm your order was refunded immediately upon receiving your email. I am very sorry the hangers were incorrectly placed, this was human error and would have been resolved for you immediately. Unfortunately despite our best efforts with packaging occasionally orders can arrive damaged in transit and again this is something we always resolve. We do not sell aluminium frames, it is used to describe the colour of the frame as per the sample finishes section on our website which shows a detailed description of each finish available. I hope we were able to resolve your issue with the immediate refund.

When I received the shipment
When I received the shipment, I noticed that the cardboard tube of the large map had wrinkles. Only yesterday, Friday the 13th, was I able to take it to a framing shop, and when I removed it from the tube, they pointed out that there were uniform wrinkles, likely as a result of the deformation of the cardboard tube. They suggested me to take photographs in daylight to show them, and I did so. I will send the photographs.

Map not sent until I sent a reminder
About two weeks after making the order nothing had arrived. Yet I received a message telling me that I had received it and asking me to review Maps International! I finally sent an email, then and only then (apparently) was the map finally sent. There was an apology in reply to my complaint, but it seems very unsatisfactory. The payment procedure, however, works perfectly!
