I have been buying from Marine Deals since 2010 and have always been happy with the service but my most recent purchase has been frustrating. Bought a rod and reel combo that was showing as in stock, a $600 combo. The wrong reel was sent so I had to muck around sending it back and then get told there are none in stock and will be a 3-4 week wait.
Finally the correct reel turns up and is meant to be prespooled. There is no braid spooled and no braid in the box. After cocking up the first attempt you would think second time around it would be checked to be correct but no. I feel this business and the service has gone downhill big time and I will be spending elsewhere in future.

I was served by Nick, awesome service and product knowledge. It was my first visit to Marine Deals, unreal selection, by far the best i have seen throughout Auckland!

I ordered the wrong size flush bucket and they quickly refunded me, then I ordered the correct size, great service, they informed me on the time frame of the delivery, I received the product and its top quality, also the ladies on the phone were 👍 great.

The team matched our budget, checked in to confirm everything was right, and made allowances for a tricky delivery. We were supporting family flooded out of their home and they were genuinely supportive and understanding throughout. A+ Marine Deals!

Ordered item at 12:46pm Wednesday, item shipped at 3pm same day from Auckland and was on my doorstep in ChCh at 9am Thursday! Original Swanndri item. Received 3 emails letting me know order received, item dispatched, item delivered. Couldn't be happier! Thank you. :-)

I ordered a weigh net from here and it came brocken, luckily I sent it back and they replaced it very quickly! Thanks to Damien and the team at marine deals for acting so fast

When it comes to service these guys are the best I had an unfortunate situation with a product that unfortunately failed Kerry the service manager was absolutely amazing and helped me out with my situation a lot of people talk about the first part of the service but when a product fails and people step up to help you it shows you what sort of company they are I would like to personally think Kerry again for the amazing service

Website easy to navigate. Excellent Communication from purchase to delivery.
Purchased and the next day arrived up in the far north, kaitaia.
Product was as advertised.

Excellent experiences from beginning to end. I've been an (infrequent) customer of this business for quite a few years now & not once have I had anything other than ease of use of their website, great service, great pricing & quality products. I purchased a returned item at a discounted price. The discount did not reflectr the condition of the item. It was a long line and was sent to me with bait attached to the hooks , seaweed in it , sand in it , hooks straightened and metal starting to rust. None of this was mentioned on the sale advertisement. I made contact with them multiple times - no response. Not till I negative feedback about my experience do I get a response which is less than satisfactory.

Awesome customer service - stepped up and issues replacement fishing reel when NZPost managed to lose a warranty return. Took over claim process too - epic service from Kerry their service manager

Great company with awesome customer service.
I have purchased dozens of items worth thousands and never had a problem.
I had a product arrive damaged and they sent a new one no problem at all I didn't have to fight for it.
Highly recommend and will always use. Prices very competitive

I've been dealing with these guys for years, purchased dozens of orders without any issues, the one time I recieved a broken rod from the courier they replaced it instantly after simply sending a photo as proof

A week after ordering item still had not shipped, I called and they claim the transaction was flagged fraudulent by my bank. Bank said no, they accepted the payment and then cancelled the order. They claim to have refunded the order, if so when? and why are there still no funds returned after a week? They communicated none of this to me till I called, so I've wasted a week waiting for parts. Get you parts elsewhere.

Very poor customer service and experience. Recieved items with missing bits and then had to collect the replacement bits in store. They were the incorrect colour and we were not offered a courier service to replace the missing parts! We live a significant way away so was a waste of time and fuel. Pretty useless having a gazebo without the actual fabric cover.

Placed an order and the $$ was taken from my credit card yet they would not release the goods until I sent photos of my card and drivers licence. Ummm no! You have the money, don't pretend the card has been flagged as fraudulent, never experienced this with my card before. Really disappointed as I didn't receive my goods. Although I did get a refund. Just doesn't make sense!

These guys are absolutely 💯% awesome.
I made a purchase for a heavy item with shipping on Saturday, i then realized I needed another item but tried to add to the first so choose no shipping.
FF 24hrs i was getting notified ready for pickup. So i called on sunday not expecting and answer. I asked to join orders with same shipping but offered to pay for another lot of shipping.
To my surprise I got an email saying they had given me free shipping and to enjoy my purchase.
So 5 stars the the customer services team and warehouse team working on a sunday to put smiles out in the community.

Do not buy anything from this guys there product is rubbish and they would not support you .
I bought a boat long line set and 7-8 hook are loose on trace "they said its hand made to be accepted " also ordered orange floats and got.yellow instead , so they will send you whatever they want not what you ordered
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUYS
