On the 7th of march a date was agreed to views and I was asked what time. I said 11.30. I heard nothing back having booked the day off work assuming all was ok.

They were well aware I was travelling 50 miles to view this property.

On the day of the viewing I thankfully called to check. They cancelled the booking 10 minutes before I was due to set off. They had 10days to stay in contact with me and say the vendor was refusing to confirm the viewing.

In subsequent emails they said this was all part of their normal process that they would only chase a vendor up to 24 hours before an arranged booking. Sadly for myself I lost £250 of wages due to taking holiday instead of doing my contract work.

Very very very poor communication and service

As an estate agent, you would expect at the very least to receive a professional approach and attitude from a company. Unfortunately, I found the team at Mark Antony to have an indifferent attitude combined this with inefficiency when making a simple appointment, which they failed to attend without giving me any notice. They also inputted my email address incorrectly. When I contacted them to enquire why they hadn't attended the mutually agreed appointment, I was met with a disinterested colleague who failed to show any concern whatsoever. I got the impression that it was all to much trouble for her. She informed me the manager would call me back. This never materialised until two days later whereby I had to call them for an explanation. I can honestly say my experience was an eye opener that proved beyond doubt that this company, who failed at simple tasks like inputting my email address correctly and failing to turn up for an appointment and also never returning my calls. Thank god I found out how incompetent and useless this company are before I entrusted them to act on my behalf.
