We recently visited Spain through Masa International to search for a property, and we had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Kerry. From start to finish, she was exceptional.
Kerry immediately understood the brief my husband Jamie and I had given her. The areas and properties she showed us were perfectly aligned with what we were looking for — it genuinely felt like she “got us” straight away. Her knowledge of the different locations and property options was impressive, and she provided choices across the scale, helping us compare and fully understand what would suit us best.
What really stood out was that Kerry didn’t just show us houses — she showed us a lifestyle. She took the time to familiarise us with the surrounding areas, from transport links and supermarkets to beaches, amenities, and the practicalities of day-to-day living in Spain. That insight was invaluable and made the whole experience feel real and achievable.
Kerry was always professional, yet warm and approachable. She built a natural sense of trust with us both. There was absolutely no hard sell at any point — just genuine guidance and support, which made the process enjoyable and stress-free.

Having seen an advertisement for a MASA presentation in Bristol we duly signed up and so the journey began.
We were introduced to Kerry who listened to our list of requirements and preferences and about our dreams of living in the sun and she explained how MASA could help us and make those dreams come true. We signed up for a viewing trip and everything went well. Having made the move herself Kerry was in the perfect position to pass on lots of valuable information, and as the viewings progressed we knew we were making the right decision.
The whole process was well organised and at no point did we feel under any pressure to commit. When we finally decided on our dream property and after a second visit to confirm we have now secured our perfect "Place in the Sun"

Buying a property abroad is a huge milestone, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had MASA International by our side to make our dream of a "place in the sun" a reality. We weren't looking for a permanent move, but rather a perfect home from home where we could escape to the sunshine, and MASA understood that vision perfectly.

Our journey began in Dublin at the "A Place in the Sun Live" expo, where we first met Chris. His warmth and professionalism immediately stood out; he listened to what we were looking for in a holiday retreat and gave us the confidence to take the leap and book a viewing trip.

That trip was a turning point. It was exceptionally well-organized and stress-free, allowing us to focus on finding the right apartment. The depth of knowledge and expertise within the team is world-class. In particular, Gerard was a fountain of information. He didn't just show us properties; he shared invaluable insights into the local lifestyle and the practicalities of owning a second home, ensuring we felt educated and empowered in our decision-making.

What truly differentiates MASA, however, is that they don’t just walk away once the sale is agreed. The after-sales care has been outstanding. Jackie has been a constant support, following up with genuine care to ensure that setting up our new holiday home was as smooth as possible.

To Chris, Gerard, Jackie, and the whole team: thank you for turning a daunting process into a wonderful adventure. If you are looking for a team that combines expert local knowledge with a truly personal touch, we cannot recommend MASA International highly enough.

Chris and Lorraine looked after us amazingly well and were a font of information about the area and the property market. They were so kind and helpful, it has really helped us focus on on what we are looking for and where. They took into account our preferences from the start and didn’t show us anything we felt was a waste of time - they had clearly taken time to understand us and our requirements and tailored the trip just right. They clearly have a great relationship with the developers too which was reassuring and gives more flexibility with negotiations. I would highly recommend using them if you’re considering buying property in the Alicante region.

We first heard about Masa when we visited the ‘A Place in the Sun exhibition’ at the Excel centre in London. A few months later we arranged to meet up with Lorraine and Chris in Denia, who arranged for us to view three different developments. Lorraine and Chris spent the whole day with us; we hadn’t arranged a Masa viewing trip as we had incorporated our house search as part of our holiday. They were extremely personable, helpful, informative and patient with us. We finally decided on a town house in a new development, and they were there with us every step of the way. We couldn’t decide which house to go for, and Lorraine and Chris sent us additional information once we were home to help us make our final decision – by nature I am not a very decisive person! They were not pushy at all, just genuinely wanted us to make the best decision for our future home. I would not hesitate to recommend Lorraine and Chris to anyone looking for a place in the sun.

After many years of dreaming about owning a family villa, we decided to visit the A Place in the Sun exhibition at the Excel Centre in London. We contacted MASA International and were introduced to Chris Dowell, who was quick to respond and guided us through the entire process—including arranging our flights and organising a viewing trip to Alicante.

When we arrived at Alicante Airport, Chris and Lorraine welcomed us and took us to the DNA Monse Hotel in Torrevieja, which they had booked for us. After checking in, they gave us a tour of the region, showing us key areas, several of the beautiful local beaches, and stopping for a coffee and a bite to eat. We were chauffeured everywhere, making the whole experience relaxed and stress-free.

The next day, they collected us from the hotel and showed us around five villas that all matched our criteria and budget. Thanks to their thoughtful selection, we found exactly what we were looking for—a three-bedroom detached villa in Orihuela at the Vistabella Golf Resort—and decided to make an offer. Chris and Lorraine supported us throughout the negotiation.

On the third day, they took us to the MASA International offices to go through the process and finalise the reservation. They were incredibly helpful, and with support from Jackie, we met with Visona, a local lawyer, and a conveyancer. They accompanied us to the Notaire to begin the NIE and banking setup, which went smoothly. We were then taken to a nearby furniture store to explore options and pricing, and afterwards to Zenia Boulevard, one of the major shopping centres in the region. With its shops, bars, restaurants, and lively atmosphere, it was a great insight into what the area has to offer.

On the final day, Chris and Lorraine dropped us back at the airport.

Although it was a busy few days, the team made the whole experience effortless. The **entire team—especially Chris and Lorraine—**were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. There was never any pressure—just genuine support from start to finish.

A huge thank-you to the entire MASA International team for helping turn our dream into reality. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for their own place in the sun. We were extremely impressed with the whole experience.

Our viewing trip was wonderful from start to finish thanks to Kerry. She understood exactly what type of property we would like after spending time and effort to get to know us. The viewing trip was well organised, informative and successful.

After watching “A Place in the sun” for many years we finally decided to visit their exhibition in Manchester .Kerry from MASA was the first person we spoke to and instantly put us at ease .Friendly and knowledgeable she took time to talk to us and explain the process of buying property abroad.Although we spoke to many other vendors /agents we felt Kerry made us feel so at ease we joined her later in the year for a viewing trip .The viewing trip was an amazing experience.We spent 4 fabulous days with Kerry , she showed us lots of properties within our budget and knew exactly what we were looking for.She listened to our wishes and guided us as our wish list changed taking us back to view the very first property and the one we purchased ! Kerry picked us up each day , took us out for lunch , showed us around the different areas pointing out places of interest, shops restaurants too. We felt that we had been away on holiday so relaxing was the whole experience! We are just at the start of our journey and look forward to the continued support from MASA. We would totally recommend MASA viewing trips to anyone who would like to buy property abroad, the service and care was first class.

Elaine and I have just returned from a viewing trip to Spain and what an excellent service we received.
Paul was absolutely brilliant he went above and beyond to make our trip as enjoyable as possible he planned everything from the pickup from the airport to lunch and evenings out in different places so we could get feel for the different areas .
We did cram a lot of property viewings in the 4 days and we even changed our budget but nothing was to much trouble for Paul it made the whole experience great

I just want to say a big "Thank You" to Lorraine & Chris for helping us find our holiday home in Torre de la Horadada, and for showing us other areas that we hadn't thought of as options and more value for your money etc. The whole process of buying made so simple with lots of help also from Jackie to arrange utility bills and solicitors and a bank account, everything you need when starting out on your holiday home journey, we will be forever greatful, and always pop in to say "Hello" from time to time. We embarked on a viewing trip with Masa in November 2023 after meeting up with them on their stand at A place in the sun show in Birmingham. For 4 days we were looked after by Kerry who showed us a number of wonderful properties and we did decide on an apartment in an area that we really like.
We have since returned to Spain and met up with Jackie and Anneka who walked us through visits to bank, lawyer and back to our chosen destination to choose the finer details for our property. They hold your hand throughout the whole process which is very, very helpful.
We have also used the associated currency providers in order to send our instalment payments which has also proven to be a smooth process.
We would highly recommend all aspects of the Masa International service, v professional, super helpful and great staff members to look after you.
We’re looking forward to our new purchase.

We have just come back from a viewing trip with MASA and I can’t recommend them enough. The whole service from start to finish was excellent and Kerry in particular was so knowledgeable and helpful about house buying in Spain, the areas, local amenities, costs involved … everything. She was fantastic! As well as helping us find our dream property, there were other things that we would have found very difficult to do ourselves that Kerry arranged for us - meeting a lawyer who spoke perfect English, getting our NIE numbers, explaining to buying process in Spain and much more. I’d definitely recommend a viewing trip for anyone seriously considering buying in Spain.

Recently visited Spain with Paul on an arranged viewing trip for 3 days with Masa. I’m an estate agent in the UK and therefore a bit of a tough client to please. After having a disappointing viewing trip with another company in Spain last year I did my research this time and approached Masa in the hope they would be better. Paul was superb and looked after us both the entire time we were there showing us several properties whilst wining and dining us in some superb spots dotted around The Orihuela Costa. We have reserved a new build which Paul found for us and negotiated on our behalf with the builder. He guided us through the process of reserving and literally I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and Masa to anybody looking at embarking on the Spanish property journey.

We moved into our new home recently and wanted highly recommend Masa and their team as we could not have done it without them. Everything was taken care of and we are over the moon with our property. Thanks so much for helping us!
