Poor customer service
I would not recommend this company to prospective purchasers.
I am concerned about the handling of my recent issue with a pair of DC Court Graffik shoes from Master Shoe.
I have worn DC Court Graffik shoes for many years without any problems, so I was disappointed when the pair I ordered and paid for showed significant wear after only eight weeks of normal use, with the right shoe becoming completely worn out. I contacted Master Shoe to explain my concerns and expected a reasonable response given my previous experience with the product.
Instead, I received a series of emails that I found dismissive, with responsibility placed entirely on me and the damage described as normal wear and tear. I was eventually given a refund, which I appreciate, but the wording of the email I received was inappropriate and left me dissatisfied.
I would have expected a branded shoe to last much longer than eight weeks under normal use, especially given my positive experience with this style in the past. While I am grateful that the matter was ultimately resolved with a refund, the overall customer service was poor and not what I would expect from a decent business that values their customers. Amazon for me as American customer service is the way forward. Master Shoe take note!!!

We are sorry that you are unhappy with how your claim was handled.
After reviewing the photographs, our experienced team did not identify evidence of a manufacturing defect. The pattern of damage appeared consistent with concentrated wear in specific areas, this type of wear isn't normally considered as a manufacturing defect under suppliers warranty policies. As you were unhappy with our assessment, we arranged for the shoes to be returned at no cost to yourself so the complaint could be referred to DC for further review.
A part of this we did request information about how frequently and in what circumstances the shoes had been worn, as this would have helped DC assess the unusual wear pattern. Unfortunately this was not provided and therefore we forwarded the existing correspondence we already had instead.
DC did not confirm a manufacturing defect. However, because of our longstanding relationship and account history with them, they agreed to provide us with a goodwill credit which was passed on to you in full by issuing a complete refund for the item.
Your complaint was investigated, escalated to the manufacturer, returned free of charge and ultimately resolved with a full refund. We are really sorry that you disagree with our assessment and are unhappy with how the claim has been handled on this occasion. We believe the claim was handled fairly and was resolved with a full refund.
