Wow wow wow Mata Glasgow today had an amazing experience with Sarah and her students .
I have attended many aesthetic training courses as a model. this has stood out to be the best one so far and the only one I would use. Sarah is extremely professional and informative to her students and clients and was very knowledgeable and encouraging with her students .
I felt totally at ease and informed of every process and thrilled with the results.
Thankyou once again for an amazing experience and your company has to be one of the top training schools in Scotland

I am a doctor who joined their Level 7 diploma. On the positive side - their training material is good and theoretical basis is well covered. They have some good tutors that conduct the training sessions.
On the flip side, the responsiveness from course coordinators and support is not that great if you run into problems or wish to clarify things. I had to wait for almost a year to get a proper response about my final diploma, even after completing the entire coursework and paying the fees in full.
Overall, in my view the course seems to be relatively overpriced for the basics you learn. You have to pay even more to attend their masterclasses to get real skills. Research your options before joining MATA - it was too late by the time I learnt this.

My mother and I have been having our treatments for the last two years at Glasgow Mata and have nothing but positive things to say. We have so much trust in Sarah and wouldn’t go anywhere else. A warm welcome upon arrival from Henshree followed by first class treatment throughout overseen by the warm, reassuring and ever so professional trainer Sarah. Delighted with every treatment we have had. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending to others. First class service from start to finish!

What a lovely,friendly relaxed experience today getting underarm Botox done. I was talked through everything and they listened to the questions I had. 5 star treatment and 5 wonderful ladies I met today.

Sarah the consultant is absolutely fabulous, she puts both clients and students at ease. Raising confidence in the service and the students' abilities. Everything is discussed and explaimed to the client clearly, with advice given on treatments. I love getting my work done here, it is always so natural. If any issues arise, they are quick at rectifying these.

Update August 2023
MATA did host a course for my wife to attend in Sydney toward the Diploma she signed up on in 2021! However still failing to organise further courses to complete the Diploma. This cost her $10,500.
Regarding the Masterclass costing over $3,000 paid for in May 2022- this has still NOT been organised.

Further to this- she has also received letters from a law firm threatening legal action if the google review has not been removed within 1 business day sent at 4pm on a Friday. A response was formulated and she amended the google review.

We have been contacted by various others who have had similar letters issued and similar issues with the company.

A SECOND letter was produced with a more aggressive approach to removing the review threatening action including reporting her to her regulatory body if not removed!!! They have also stated they are reviewing her enrolment and threaten to SUSPEND HER FROM THE COURSE if she does not remove her review!

They still have not addressed the underlying issues. THEY HAVE STILL NOT PROVIDED HER WITH ANY INVOICES AND RECEIPTS OF PAYMENT FOR ANY OF THE COURSES AS REQUESTED MULTIPLE TIME OVER THE PAST YEAR or more.

She simply wants a refund and to walk away as they are not provided her with the services paid for in a timely manner, not providing her with proof of payment (in my opinion totally criminal!)

Update on October 2022
MATA has contacted us and offered to fly us to Sydney for another course, with expenses covered. We have spoken to Ian, who assured us that this will happen, but unfortunately, there have been no further details or confirmation provided from their end.

Additionally, MATA requested that I remove this review, but as of now, no further action has been taken.

My wife had booked two subscriptions with MATA (a diploma and a masterclass), but unfortunately, they were cancelled- had to make an expensive trip from overseas specifically for those courses. It has now been three months, and despite making more than ten phone calls and sending a few emails, we have not received any response or information about a refund. I am unsure why they are not responding.

Regarding the response received in response to this review, I want to clarify that we did try contacting them through numerous emails and phone calls. We spoke with two staff members who reached out to the director, but we haven't received any response from him.

At this point in my view, I am really disappointed with the level of service and communication provided by MATA. In my opinion the entire experience has been disorganised and has left me appalled. My wife has asked for a full refund for all the courses I have undertaken with them.

If they are unable to review their records to address the issue, I might have to consider escalating the matter with the Ombudsman and credit card companies.

Loved my time at mata glasgow today, the trainer Sarah is very professional she always makes me feel at ease and the delegates were very friendly and also explained what was happening and asked me throughout how I was feeling. Also they let me know of the road closures.in town which helped my journey into Glasgow Town.

MATA Glasgow is a fantastic option for aesthetic treatments.
You get a better service than you would at another clinic because there are several people, usually highly experienced medics, discussing whether they are asking you enough about past treatments, what you want the treatment to achieve, the best after care, etc.
Then the treatment is closely supervised, with no space for mistakes.
The other great thing is the welcoming atmosphere. There's no awkwardness or feeling self conscious. They are enjoying themselves and make you enjoy it too.
I really enjoy the science chat between them. The trainers always have so much experience. This time my fav trainer, Sarah, was giving so much information on the facial muscles, and the science behind what they were doing. It really makes you feel like you are in great hands.
I can't rate it highly enough!

Today was my second visit to Mata in Glasgow. If they had a6star rating I would give it. The trainer and the students are extremely professional while at the same time friendly and put me at ease. They listened to my concerned areas for treatment and offered advice and options. I felt very confident in the hands of the students under the guidance of the trainer. I am 69 yrs old. I was looking for a soft improvement to my facial contours. I loved the end result the first time I visited when I had a little cheek filler. That visit and result gave me confidence to go a little further. I had 3ml filler and upper face Botox. I’m sure that the Botox results will be subtle and I can see the filler has already given me the look I was after. Can’t thank them enough. I will be returning.

My 3rd visit today to Mata Glasgow. I feel so at ease having treatments here. Lovely welcome from Hemshree as you enter the clinic.
Sarah the trainer is just amazing, very knowledgeable and super experienced. I know I am in safe hands! To be perfectly honest I wouldn’t go anywhere else now and I am super fussy!

I have visited MATA Glasgow 3-4 times now and I can’t recommend their team enough ! Glasgow course tutor is so lovely her knowledge and experience in the aesthetics field is second to none I’ve had aesthetic treatments done for 15 years using only medical professionals Mata only train medic professionals only nurses doctors dentist like most I was very wary at 1st visit but since my 1st visit I’ve not went anywhere else now always feel in safes hands when students working on me as tutor is guiding overseeing all the way so I would say you won’t be disappointed 😊

I signed up for the MATA diploma course and a couple of masterclasses in December 2021, paying a total of over $12,000. One of the conditions outlined by the company is that the diploma must be completed within 9 months of signing up, yet I am now 1.5 years in post signing up and have only been able to complete four out of the eight promised days due to lack of training days being provided for me to attend.

I have been facing difficulties getting in touch with someone from the company for assistance. It is essential to focus on the core issue here- after paying for services in December 2021 I still haven't received the services I paid for, and I've been struggling to get responses from the company.

I hope the company can take the necessary actions to allow me to complete my diploma and get what I paid for or issue me with a refund in full.

Sarah and the trainees at Glasgow were all very Professional and put me at ease immediately. The atmosphere was calm and caring and everything was very well explained. Would definitely recommend.

We started speaking to Dylan a few weeks ago and from the start he was very caring and informative he has gone above and beyond to assist us. And although we haven't committed to a course Dylan has put MATA to the best of the rest with late night calls to meet our demands to setting up meetings outside his city to meet us to confirm some details and have a face to face meeting. We can thank Dylan enough for his efforts and look forward to meeting in person to discuss the details further. Its clear Dylan is a real asset to MATA and they have a very committed and talented member of staff.

5* doesn’t seem enough. I’m an acrophobia sufferer,with huge social and anxiety issues. My pain threshold is virtually as non existent as my confidence.But after medicating myself to address a facial issue,where all of the team and the instructor embraced me,rather than showing me the door ,when I was fairly unmanageable to other places has without doubt brought me on mentally in leaps and bounds. I now go in voluntarily,I leave what I need done to Sarah’s expert and honest decisions,I love that they NEVER over sell as I’m willing to pay to try anything,but only get what I really need,which is a comfort. I’m well on the way to recovery after years of trauma and I owe it in a large part to Mata. Sarah is like a little professor of Her trade,and meeting Sana and Vanessa today who were extremely competent was amazing. I can be contacted to give anyone in a nervous situation advice on this. I visited MATA for the very first time yesterday. The team of staff were all medical professionals they were welcoming, attentive and so wonderful. My procedure was carried out very professionally meeting very high standards. I'm so delighted with the procedure carried out. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend MATA.

Dr.Dujan Bhatti, course trainer at Cardiff was wonderfully professional from start to finish. Incredibly talented. The way he taught theory+ calculations and helped to carry out treatments surpassed my expectations.
