I have done business with Matas 5-6 times so far and my experience has been positive. I especially appreciate their efforts to involve customers in their sustainability initiatives, such as offering the option of a later delivery to avoid splitting shipments.

I didn't receive what I ordered
I didn't receive what I ordered. There was no package. I spoke both with the delivery company and matas, but they refused to assist me and I just paid 300 kr for nothing. And I literally have no fault. They told me that I was responsible for what happened as I ordered a flex delivery, which didnt require signature. Meaning the delivery company left the package in front of my door in a student dorm.. where anyone could take it.. even the courier (who showed a picture that the item was in front of my door at 7 am when I was sleeping and that was considered a legitimate proof). I understand that on technicality, these are the rules and that is the service, but i think there is a hole in this service and you can't just say, " when you order DAO flex, it's at your own risk, well, you dont have insurance, it's your problem, we cant do anything for you". Just not fair. And im frustrated, I used to be a member and shop there all the time. Not anymore. They just lost themselves a client.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with the delivery of your package and I can understand it is a dissapointing experience when we cannot help with a solution.
DAO has taken a photo as proof of delivery which shows that the package has been delievered as it should. DAO only delivers at night/early morning and will therefor not contact the customer upon delivery. The parcel will be delivered to the mailbox if possible otherwise it will be left at the door.

I always have good experiences with the shop!
Very helpful people in the shop and if you cannot find a product they will order it for you. The prices may be a little bit higher than the online shops but if you become a member and follow the sales you can get very good deals!

Worst shopping experience ever
Worst shopping experience ever! There shop is designed to try and trick you and force you to accept advertisement. I try buying a product for 150kr and shipping was free, but when you click buy it. Shipping is free to the shop! but.. they say if you are a member of their club it is free and I save 20%. So, that is about 120kr and free shipping. Then when you sign in for the club you are forced to accept advertisement or else you cannot continue. When done, you buy the product for 120kr and are old you need to buy for 1kr more to get free shipping (this was not stated anywhere, there website says Always Free Shipping). So, I had to pay for shipping and the end price is more than 150kr.
what a scam!!!

Horrible partnerships
I ordered a package that they sent with their partner Burd delivery but has not yet arrived 3 days later than expected delivery. No email to send, no contact service after 17 and chat is useless. I want to be compensated.

Best employee, probably award worthy
on 14th May I have been in the shop in, Vejle walking street Nørregade, with my mom and aunt and Anne Kristine was one of the ABSOLUTE BEST employees i ever had pleasure to interact with , i am self in the service industy and i have to admit that Anne have went up and beyond the expectations of the customer service, knowledge of product as well as the expertise that she expressed. i am becoming loyal to Matas only because of such employees as Anne Kristine

So they were running 20% discount on…
So they were running 20% discount on the makeup and I go and but a tinted creme that was literally positioned next to the 20% off sign with other makeup products only to be surprised that it is not discounted. Very misleading! Especially because tinted creme is considered makeup.
Tried complaining to the customer service with a picture of the placement of the product. They didnt seem to care about it. This makes me think they are misleading customers on purpose.

Unfortunately, a tinted cream does not come under make-up but skin care, as this is a cream with added color and not a foundation.
