We have been ordering from Matrix regularly for almost two years, so that is saying something. However, after our recent experiences we will never use them again.

There have been several issues with orders before; missing items, damaged packaging/products, even open supplements once. Although the customer response has typically satisfied enough that we've continued to order products.

This recent experience is the last straw. Placing an order worth almost £100, we awaited patiently for the order to arrive, after days of no news and emails left without any replies, we gave them a call.

We were then shocked to learn that our order had been delivered and signed for. This was obviously not the case. Apparently 'reception' had signed for it, I don't know any person named reception and our building has not reception type area so this was clearly a mistake on there end.

Three phone calls (which aren't free) and several email chains later we are informed that an investigation will be underway and will be informed in 72 hours. It took over a week to hear anything back.

Dismissive customer service (suggesting we check the none existent reception area and other helpful comments)

We did finally got our package, however, when it arrived an item was missing. So another email with attachments and proof of error and no response.

All in all its simply not worth the hassle.

Ordered from this company a few times however I don't think I will be using them again. I placed an order for next day delivery two days ago and I still haven't received it. I still haven't been updated with how I can track my parcel (I would normally receive an email which would give me a number to track the order). I've emailed a few times and they've took a while to get back to me. They have some good products but I'm disappointed about this situation.

Stuff came on time mixes well an tastes decent im happy, unlucky to the rest moany faces.

Disgusting protein

I signed up to trust pilot just to write this review. After reading many positive reviews on there website, which claims they have 2,000 reviews giving a 4 star average, I took the plunge and purchased the 5kg anabolic gold protein bundle. The delivery and service was great, no complaints there, but the actual protein itself is disgusting. The chocolate flavour just isn't there and it leaves a really sandy texture in your mouth, it doesn't mix great at all. I have tried many different protein powders and this is by far the worst. I called the customer support hotline only to be told that there is nothing they will do, not even a partial refund if I posted the goods back to them. Great... so 5kg of protein straight in the bin. How disappointing for a company with such 'great' reviews. In summary, do not order this protein. If you are set on ordering it then try it first, order a small pouch. The low price point is attractive but the quality just isn't there.

I have been training for over 10 years this is my 5th order from matrix nutrition and i find there products and services are spot on!
The quality is very good for the price and the delivery was spot on!
I highly recommend there products to anyone

Great customer service and delivery, but their protein powders are full of amino fillers for nitrogen spiking (leucine, taurine, creatine), rather than actual protein. I only found this out recently after using them for nearly 4 years. Won't be buying again. If protein powder prices appear too good to be true, there's a good reason. Avoid.

After using various products from Matrix over several years , I was concerned about the colour of their Blueberry cheesecake protein and the rather alarming effect on the colour of the digestive system , The ingredients state natural , when contacting customer services the reply was -
No, this is a proprietary blend and so, we would not provide the exact ingredients and recipe for the colouring and flavoring, so that this cannot be copied by a competitor.
I do not consider this an adequate response , time to move to another supplier who consider giving their customers a full breakdown of the products that they consume , especially when there is a specific issue with the ingredients used .

Spot on next day delivery box looked a bit battered but in tact....great tasting products in the bundle... sorry to anyone the used Facebook or Instagram and got stitched up should of gone direct to supplier....fools

The product is good but the service is terrible. I paid over £100 for items over a week ago. I only got 2 of them. I then contacted them on Twitter and provided details of the PayPal transaction and told them what I had received. I then got multiple messages (staggered over several days) asking what hadn't been received, for further information, what's the order number etc, nothing that simply logging in to PayPal wouldn't have revealed. By Monday afternoon I told them I wanted to cancel the remaining items, simply because I felt they were incapable of even providing an update and opened up a PayPal claim for the cost of the missing items. I then kept getting hassled on Twitter by some smart mouth telling me I had only sent a single message and they were closed on the Saturday. I'd wrote in Thursday, Friday and Saturday but I guess they simply deleted my earlier messages. By about 4pm on the Monday I'd had enough but all I got whas contradiction as if I didn't know what I had sent. I tried calling but my contract doesn't put me through to premium rate numbers. I don't buy credit for individual calls. Smart Mouth then continued to tell me I had only sent one message and when I pasted in the thread, proving that I had written in multiple times, and asking did he think I was a liar, I was blocked without a reply. This is a bad company to deal with. It isn't the first time I have had problems with my order. I think they use packers who don't care and couriers who don't even bother to check off what they have / haven't delivered.

Will NEVER buy from these SCUM again.
They say they left my order on the street next to a dustbin, and to them that means its been delivered. i asked them to re-deliver my order or refund my money. They then just ignore you. Ive had to put a claim in with my credit card company to get my money back.
Customer service is non existent.

Disappointing experience. System issue with stock. Had to change order and wait for another delivery (Which arrived late, as they claim next day delivery).

Excellent Service, ordered my bundle and received the next day. DX left my parcel in a safe place as instructed. Protein tastes good and mixes well after a good shake, the Kong bars are insane value, 24 protein bars for 19.99

I placed an order with them recently and when it hadn't arrived a few days later, I contacted them to see if it would be dispatched soon. I was told that it had already been delivered, It hadn't. In fact, it had been left outside my front door (in full view of EVERYONE) and it wasn't there when I came to look.
Neither Matrix nor their courier (DX) are accepting responsibility for this, despite the fact that I have sent them photos showing how unsecure the area was. I'm now out of pocket for just under £50 (which I'm going to try and get back through PayPal - but who knows if I'll get that back).
The Customer Service I received throughout the whole thing was rubbish. They ignored emails and didn't get back to me when they said they would.
They use a cheap courier to cut corners cost-wise and refuse to take responsibility when things go wrong (which appears to happen a lot - I wish I'd looked into this before placing my order).
Use at your own risk.

Ordered a 5kg bundle on Wednesday 17th April and was only given the option to pay for next day delivery at £3.99, which I wasn’t to fussed about so I did...
3 or 4 days go by and still no delivery so I contacted the company via Facebook, they replied saying that they don’t deliver on the weekend of my order as it’s bank holiday even though it should of arrived on Thursday. Why offer next day delivery when they know themselves it will not happen? Or at least offer standard delivery...

Anyway, Tuesday 23rd April my product had arrived, 6 days late, parcel was dropped over my gate (approx 7ft) onto the concrete floor the other side, as a result of this the 5kg protein tub had split inside the box making the next hour of my life hoovering protein out of my carpets from opening the cardboard box.

Apart from this dreadful delivery service, the products are tasty, and exactly what I asked for.

Would not recommend company purely for the poor delivery service.

Very good product and price. Aftersales very good after minor problem but sorted very quickly and efficiently (fault was not there's it was courrier)highly reccomened!

Well i read all the reviews and i had the delivery issues as well which was like 5th day but, that purely seems to be the delivery guys issue.
The product looks great and cheapest in market. I wanted a favour with something and i called them and they called me back and gave me the favour right away although it is my first purchase with them. So a big thumbs up from my side 👍

So order placed om 10th(sunday) of December for next day delivery, which i expected to be delivered on tuesday the 12th and nothing arrived till 16th and when i asked i was told we just re booked it and next day was sorry we couldn't deliver even when the address was a business which stays open from 11 til 1 at night. No reason given. Asked for refund and i was told WE WILL ONLY REFUND WHEN WE GET THE GOODS BACK.from who? Because i didn't got any package.so after 22 days and 5 different customer service chats i was given money back. Extremely poor service

Best Customer Service Ever!
I have placed an order for 5kg revolution protein but I didn’t receive the item by next day so I’ve got contact with the customer service and they explained me the protein will arrive with 1 day delay ... And because of that they gave me refund for the postage and packaging.
Again thank you for your kind and helpful customer service...

Ordered the XL stack deal got a free holdall bag for free plus a free shaker. Order came quick and everything was there. Great value for money

Tuesday I wanted to order a bundle by next day delivery so I did not need to go to the shop to purchase any so I did, come Friday there is no delivery or tracker number so I had to go to another supp shop to buy another bundle so I could start my diet/training plan. Monday Matrix advised me that the courier had LOST all there deliveries and that they would be sending another bundle out but it has now been 10 days since I originally ordered and still no delivery. this was my first time using Matrix and maybe my last depending on the quality of the products but at the minute I can not even review the products.
