I like my glasses very much but.Very Bad service quality I've got The mix plate en de coating is letting lose when you send it back to Maui Jim for service ... you have to pay 138 euro . Don't buy there

Was upsold a pair of Maui Jim's at Sunglass Hut that was suppose to be the best ever. Sales associate bragged about Maui Jim's amazing customer service. Took the plunge and paid over $300. Less than 2 months later one lens has a scratch .Went back to the store and the reply was like....uhhhhh sorry these are not glass they are plastic ( were told at the time of purchase they were glass) just call Maui Jims and they will take care of it. Called Maui Jim's and they want $75 plus shipping to repair.....Sorry Maui Jims last purchase here. Should have stuck with Costa.

My Maui Jim sunglasses have been one of the best purchases ever. Their lenses are second to none. When I wanted to change my lenses from prescriptive to non prescriptive - I went onto their website and organised it through their Australian workshop. The customer service was excellent and they replaced my frames as a courtesy. I received a brand new pair of sunglasses and I am over the moon. Cant recommend Maui Jim sunnies - and their customer service highly enough. Very fast service and shipping and regular updates on progress. Very very happy.

Returned sunglasses to repair scratched lens. It was the second time within a 12-month period and they graciously replaced the second set of lenses for free. I can't say enough about the excellent service provided by Maui Jim

I recently had to send my Muai's back for repair as stupidly I dropped and damaged them quite badly. I was contacted by the team so say they had repaired them as a courtesy and all I had to pay was processing and postage which I was delighted with. However when I got them back today, they have actually sent me a brand new pair!! I can't thank Maui Jims enough, outstanding customer service!

I bought a pair of Maui Jim "Seabreeze" glasses in 2018 for $200. These were "limited"...and MJ said they could be repaired at a later date if they had the lenses/part.

A few weeks ago I inquired about having the lenses on my glasses replaced. I got an email back...correctly listing my SEABREEZE glasses as the glasses I had purchased...and saying to SEND THEM IN for a repair.

$10 of postage later..I did so. A week after that my wife got a call...and while they weren't HER glasses...she was asked what they should do about the repair BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE THE LENSES TO FIX MY GLASSES. She felt pressured...being given only the option of "a 50% off coupon" on a new pair of glasses....so she said yes even though she's never been to the MJ site/has no knowledge about any of this.
The 50% off option was NOT my choice. I wanted my glasses returned....and I contacted MJ ASAP and told them so......but I was then told my glasses had been "recycled"....and could not be sent back. They were fine to wear....I just wanted a minor chip on the lens fixed if possible. My guess is that the frames/ear pieces will now be used for repair parts.

so now i'm out $10...a $200 pair of glasses..and the clowns want me to spend no less than $120 to replace them....when THEY were the ones who told me via email that they could fix them and to send them in.

So very disappointed. I will never buy Lousy Jim glasses again.

I bought some amazing sunglasses from Maui Jim, and I managed to cause a tiny bit of damage to them. Maui Jim support tram were excellent in fixing them and sending them back to me superfast. They were also very friendly and kind. Great people to deal with.

I've just had my sunglasses repaired by Maui jim and I have to compliment them on an excellent customer service. They responded to every email within a day and in most cases a few hours. Emailed to say they'd received my sunglasses, then to say they'd repaired them, then to say they'd posted them back. Less than a week from sending them off to repair and return. Great customer service. So important in big companies and they got it spot on.

I have worn Maui Jims for over 22 years. I actually buried my first pair that lasted about 10 years. Then just kept buying for fear you would stop making these incredible items.
Just sent back a pair for refurbishment and Andy could not have been more helpful. Rock on Maui Jim!

I visited the Guildford repair centre and was assisted by Tony who could have not been more helpful and knowledgable. My glasses were too old to be repaired so he and a lovely lady helped me choose a new pair. Nothing was too much trouble , I felt a truly valued customer. This was Probably the best customer experience I have ever had! Thank you Tony you are an asset to Maui Jim and you and the lovely lady made my day.

I recently managed to break one of the arms on my favourite pair of sunglasses, the Red Sands model by Maui Jim. I had purchased these in early 2018 and have found them to be awesome sunglasses, particularly when boating on the sea.

I was able to identify that Maui Jim offers a repair service so duly lodged an order and sent off the glasses to the UK repair team. Sadly the package became embroiled with customs related red tape and so didn't arrive at the repair team.
When I chased the item through mail tracking I received a call from a very pleasant and helpful lady in the customer services team who explained the problem (as a result of Brexit) with the package delivery, and that they had decided to replace the sunglasses, with a brand new pair.

They have arrived this evening...and at no cost.

I recently went on vacation and broke one of my lenses, I was so bummed out because I thought that was it these glasses are done. I sent them in for repair and they went above and beyond. They sent me back a whole new pair of Maui jim sunglasses. Love you guys ty,ty.

I have owned my Maui Jim 303-23 Big Island sunglasses for over 25 years. After one of the arms broke recently, I was really sad to no longer have my favourite pair of sunglasses. I have worn them every year when driving or on holiday and they looked as good as new for all that time. I looked online to see if Maui Jim could repair my specs and found many people have been in my position. A few customer comment even suggested that MJ had repaired their broken sunglasses and had not charged the customer for the work. Indeed, one customer said they had received a new pair of sunglasses because their vintage pair could not be fixed. I looked up the MJ repairs page and booked my repair. The MJ site does say that they may not be able to fix discontinued models and it would depend on whether they had parts in stock. That said, the site did state that nose pads and arms would be repaired or replaced for free, if parts were available.

After a few days I received a call to say the UK repair shop did not have any arms to fit my vintage specs and that the repair technician had messaged Maui Jim HQ in Hawaii to see if they had old stock available. I would hear something within a few weeks. I'm like, "What? You've called Hawaii? For Real? Wow." I half expected a call back to say the parts were no longer in stock and there was nothing more that can be done, or that they had stock but I would be charged for the parts, labour & delivery from Hawaii.

I then received an email from Maui Jim, a few weeks later, advising me that my sunglasses had been repaired, with a completely new frame, nose pads and arms, with zero cost to me. That's right. It will cost me nothing! I was blown away. After all, the Flexon titanium frames are not cheap, and the cost of delivery from Hawaii cannot have been free.

The sunglasses have now arrived in beautiful condition and Maui Jim have also included a new collapsible trifold case. Just a few weeks ago I was devastated that I may never use my prized sunglasses again and today I am overjoyed to have them back as good as new.

During the last month, I have also bought myself two more pairs of Maui Jim's as back up, so now I have three pairs of this wonderful luxury brand. Why did I buy two more pairs? Well, they were in a sale and I can't resist a bargain but most of all I know they'll last a lifetime, especially with the support of Maui Jim's repairs service.

Great sunglasses. I own three pair. Best I ever had. After sale service is amazing. Needed nose pads replaced for them and Morgan (great customer service) sent them out the same day. Thanks MJ.

Cannot believe why there could be a negative review about this business. Used several times, own numerous pairs and have had to have several repairs due to my own actions - always helpful and a top quality product.

I always judge a company by its aftersales service. I use their branch in Guildford where the repairs i have had are while you wait. Brilliant! Met Tony today to repair my glasses. He was excellent - polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. Great work as always.

In 2018 bought my Expensive Maui Jim sun glasses from the Airport Duty Free Shop. One of my temple broke so sent it on 7th August 2021 to Guildford Surrey for repair !! Paid £12 because I didn't had receipt.When I received they had changed the nose pad and had crack on each side !!! When email them was told had cracks before and to change the lenses will cost another £75 ..... there were no cracks before when I sent them, otherwise before sending them I would have asked about cracked lenses !!! One thing is I never asked them to change the NOSE PAD... WANTED TO REPAIR ONE TEMPLE ONLY !! WHILE CHANGING THEY MUST HAVE BROKE IT BY PRESSURE OR BY MISTAKE !!! My question to them was why they changed the nose pads without asking me ??? Very bad customer service !! Now they are not repairing my lenses....which was their fault changing nose pads without asking the customer and cracked the lenses on both sides !!! Not happy with the CUSTOMER SERVICE I WAS GIVEN !!!

Due to extreme light sensitivity, I decided to invest in sunglasses that I would have to wear daily all the time. It was a considerable investment considering my income. Imagine my surprise when, at a recent party, one of the attendees showed off his pairS of FREE Maui Jim sunglasses, gifts from his friend, a Director of Marketing & Promotions. The guy can open up his own store. Now I know that I've been overpaying when others get it for FREE.

I hate the new glasses case which is a triangle instead of the traditional shape. I called Maui Jim to ask if they could send me a different case and they said triangle was now all they had. I will buy a competitor brand next time as it is annoying to have to shop around to find an appropriate glasses case after spending a lot on sunglasses.

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses through my eye doctors on July 1, 2021 - today is July 30, 2021 and still no sun glasses. My optometrist has called numerous times and gets nothing but a run around. This is the first time I’ve ordered prescription sunglasses & id heard how good Maui Jim’s are. But I’m very frustrated & don’t think I will ever order from them again!

Repaired my broken leg free of charge and sent back with collapsible case and new cloth thingie. Not to know I have half a dozen pairs of their glasses. Why would you buy another brand. Thank you. Jamie
