A Fabulous Lunch Experience

A Fabulous Lunch Experience

I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying lunch here today, and I’m still smiling about it! From the moment I arrived, everything—from the warm welcome to the final bite—was simply spot on.

We sat outside in the sun and the atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, with a thoughtful attention to detail that made the whole experience feel special. We ordered sardines on toast, rare beef sandwich, artichoke hearts and olives (which were amazing and had to order another round!) and every element was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection with obvious love.

We were served by Lorenzo but the whole team were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do—something that always makes a difference.

It’s rare to find somewhere that delivers on all fronts: food, service, and setting. But today’s lunch was a standout. I’ll absolutely be back—and recommending it to everyone I know! We will be back there for dinner again very soon….

What's not to like? Really tasty Sunday lunch

We had an excellent Sunday lunch today in Wetherby Shambles at Maybe Later. The food is delicious, the service is good and the staff are very pleasant. There are white tablecloths and napkins and the price was reasonable for an exceptional meal. What's not to like?

Do yourself a favour and try "Maybe Later"

Our 2nd visit to Maybe Later was just as good as the first. This time, we had the Sunday Lunch. A Yorkshire Pudding and Yorkshire salad starter (shouldn't work, but it's brilliant!) followed by superb beef, MORE Yorkshire pudding and delicious veg. I had cheese to finish and my wife had chocolate mouse, both superb. All washed down with a very nice bottle of Malbec and followed by coffee & liquors. The bill was somewhat less than I expected. Very much looking forward to our next visit.
