Since 2024, I have been trying to resolve issues with my account, but their customer service is completely ineffective. Calls are endlessly placed on hold, and no one takes responsibility or provides clear answers.
What is even more frustrating is that money was deducted from my account without any valid explanation. I took the time to visit the Mall of the Emirates branch in person and requested to close my account, yet to this day, the account still shows debts—even though I am no longer using it and have no funds left.
This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. A bank should be transparent, reliable, and responsive, but my experience has been the complete opposite.
I strongly advise others to be cautious

I am very disappointed with Mbank customer service. I have been trying for three days to reach their call center to resolve an important issue, but it is nearly impossible to get through.
My issue requires visiting a specific branch, which is not convenient for me, but I cannot even discuss possible alternatives because no one answers the calls.
The phone line is not free, and I have already spent my own money waiting 7–10 minutes per call without being connected to an operator. Yesterday, I wasted almost two hours trying to reach them with no result.
This level of service is unacceptable.

The process was mostly smooth, though it required several documents and verification steps. Staff were polite and answered questions clearly.
Some steps took longer than expected, especially the ID verification, but nothing major. Online banking works well after setup.
Overall, I’m satisfied, though a bit more speed in processing would make it perfect.

I have tried to close my bank account for several months. Every time Mbank promises to call me back, but the phone only rings for 1 sec, so that I don’t have enough time to pick up. They are calling me from a the general customer service hotline, so I can't call back. I never used the account, but there is now a negative balance that keeps growing, and I don’t know why. There are no transactions shown in the app and on your website it says there is no minimum balance and I don’t see any reference to fees or pricing anywhere. PLEASE CLOSE DOWN MY ACCOUNT

Worst bank. Keeps on hiring and firing, when asked for the reason the hr harrasses for a forceful resignation or says that he will proceed with the termination and will spoil your career. You don't even come to know your fault. In every organization the HR us transparent and discusses with both the parties. But here the decision is just based on the person who holds a high position no matter whatever you do. Total politics is going on, no matter how much you do your hard work. I worked jn thus bank only for 1 snd a half month so obviously it is not the performance issue. I worked in FGB ,now FAB for 7 years and these prople from MBank spoilt my career just for the employment of 1 month. Very disgusting and pathetic HR.

Fraud bank, UAE government should shut them down. They will promote a zero balance account and later make your account in a negative balance. Absolute ponzi scam.

They deducted money from my account without any proper reason or clear information.
I called many times, emailed them again and again — no proper response.
Only lies and false promises.
They told me via email that I’ll get a refund in 7–14 working days. It’s been more than that — still nothing!
I’m a student with limited pocket money, and they even took that away.
Such pathetic customer service — not even replying to calls.
Public beware — this bank only takes your money and gives nothing back!

At first, Al Maryah Bank seemed like a good choice – they presented themselves with friendly service and attractive promises. But don’t be fooled like I was. They claimed there were no maintaining balance fees, yet I later discovered my account went into the negative because of hidden charges. This is misleading, unfair, and absolutely unacceptable.
It feels like their entire approach is to lure people in with false promises, then sneak in fees that were never clearly disclosed. Their practices are greedy and untrustworthy. I do not recommend this bank to anyone. Save yourself the frustration – there are better, more transparent options out there.

This bank is the most worstest bank I will ever see in my entire life. I requested for overdraft. I'm open and plain by telling them I have all required documents but my company can not give salary transfer letter because I'm not eligible as per my company policy grade. The lady that was handling my application promised that no problem that there will be solutions once my application is fully approved. Just all of they sudden they changed her. And when we got to the final stage they started making it compulsory for me to give salary transfer letter. After wasting almost two months of my time, effort and resources. They kept me on hold without knowing what is going on. They remain silent and started giving lots of excuses telling me someone will call me after two days always. I'm very curious not until one of them open up. Can you imagine such bank with wickedness. I wish I could get someone to support me on how I can sue them for wasting my time and without not rejecting my request from the beginning. Normally it supposed be 7 to 10days processing but this bank spent almost two months and still later decline me despite all my stress. Only God will judge them. And I keep wondering how my working mate as telling me why did I open salary account with such bank. Please you guys should not use this bank for your own sake. I will be closing my relationship with them by next month. It's already half of the month m I wish I could close it now but HR will still pay this month salary in that account. I have been using this account for more than two years for my salary and they are still requesting for salary transfer letter. It's really the most painful experience of my life. I have never see human beings heart full of wickedness like that.

Scamming and low security
About twenty thousand dirhams of my money was stolen from this bank by a hacker due to the low security of the bank and the lack of expertise of the security team. No one care me after two months calling and texting. I hope that the UAE court will address the situation of this bank as soon as possible with the complaints of the people.
The most useless bank in the world!
1. Every time I make an online purchase, even from Google, my card gets blocked and I have to wait a long time to talk to an operator and verify my identity!
2- The absence of a SWIFT code restricts international transactions entirely, limiting the bank's services strictly to local transfers.
3.Without any prior notice, my account was blocked and I have no access to my money! My bank login account in the app is also blocked! That means I can't even place a ticket! A basic masterpiece from this useless bank !
