McDonald’s 

Yes, another McDonalds review but this time it is a drive-thru McDonalds.

Overall, this McDonalds has a pretty good service. I will not talk about the food and quality as I already have in my previous two McDonalds reviews (check my other reviews). The quality and variation tends to be the same for all branches of the fast food outlet.

But anyway, onto the actual service which is amazing. I was at the drive-thru McDonalds in Southampton at around 3pm which would not be too busy and yet once we had ordered our food had been made ready within the space of 5 to 7 minutes. Very good.

They do also have the boards where you can order beforehand which is being implemented by many fast food outlets. These boards are very useful and give you the whole menu infront of your eyes and you do not need to feel pressurised with people looking at you whilst you are ordering.

Thirdly and finally the prices are quit cheap. I know it would be the same for most McDonalds restaurants but £7.45 for 5 items including 3 burgers and 2 sets of chips is pretty extraordinary. £7.45 is roughly a Sunset Burger at Nandos and half of the price of a Pizza in Bella Italia. Very cheap which is why it attracts parents and their kids.

Ordered a quarter pounder meal and a big mac meal. Drove home 15 mins only to find they had given me 3 cheeseburger and six nuggets.. and 2 cokes... do the staff not know how to read orders or take car number plates..... a joke !!!! Wasnt worth driving back 15 minutes to get correct order

Bad - I ordered a chicken Burger meal and I had bitten into my burger and saw a grey lump in the chicken breast

I've never had a McDonald's before and I saw an advert recently for a burger... It looked amazing so I though I'd give it a try. I'm not happy at all as the burger I ordered looked huge on my 80" TV and when I received it in the restaurant it looked like it had been stamped on or had been in a morbidly obese person's back pocket and then sat on :/ I will not be going back again!!!

Can't go wrong with the Barry McDonald's, everytime I get food there it's hot and fresh and all the workers are really friendly

they had great service, but when i asked for a bargain bucket they turned me down like i was a piece of sh it. shout out to mclean720 youtube account someone hit him up with some more fight, because his youtube channel is getting dry at the moment

I always receive excellent service. Polite staff, very clean seating area. Nothing is too big a job.
As a vegetarian I love the veggie burger. It would be nice to see how McDonald's expands their vegetarian range.

You have the best fries EVER! haha. I've been to lots of fast food restaurants and so far, no other fries can beat yours.

They are sort of OK some days I don't want to be rude at all only honest they barley have speedy service going for them now I love my double cheese burgers but I always have a issue when I go to McDonalds they always forget something or take do long or a machines down always some kind of petty yet aggravating problems and when you complain the ghetto managers always make you out like your a liar and they never make mistakes I'm just so over McDonald's on general.

The service is shocking my gran who dies 5 years ago would’ve served it faster than Towcester McDonald’s. I have now been waiting here for 6 days and I still have no food not even ketchup. Do not come here if over 50 because you will of died before you get served

Went there for a coffee and waited for 20 mins becuase she was to busy talking to her friends.

Never been a fan of McDonalds, but on occasion I have taken my grandchildren there, as children seem to develop a hankering for it and some time you have to pick your battles. Food is pretty awful and mostly lukewarm, particularly since they started the new system of choose and collect. Employees run around like headless chickens achieving very little in the longest possible time. Customer service is non existent. However, what I found truly despicable is the huge amount of non recyclable material they use, despite claims to the contrary. Is it really necessary to have a plastic lid on a cup of drink when is going to be consumed at the restaurant?. Is it essential to drink from a straw?. Couldn't fries be placed on paper bags?. The ultimate nonsense is the Happy meal. Destined for the children whose future they are jeopardising, in big plasticised useless containers that go to the bin immediately, plus big PLASTIC piece of junk wrapped in PLASTIC that parades as a toy, totally useless that follows the packaging into the bin only moments later. I will use the environmental angle to persuade my grandchildren never to go there again.
