Media First are excellent
Media First are excellent - I attended a very insightful, practical and well-run course with them a few years ago and have been following their excellent blog regularly since. Highly recommended!
Really good (and free) breifings from Media First
Media First produce some great on-line briefings for customers and prospective customers which are genuinely useful and aren't just a sales push. As a person with lengthy experience of media relations their advice is spot-on (and I've learned a thing or two along the way).

Media First are very efficient in terms…
Media First are very efficient in terms of media training. They are very organised in terms of sending through material in advance of training and post-training giving great feedback on participants' suitability for media interview. The trainers themselves bring with them a great deal of experience in all forms of media (print, radio, TV) and provide all sorts of tips, advice and helpful anecdotes during the time they spend with us.

Intensive and immediately applicable training in professional studio environments, encompassing phone, newspaper, radio and TV interviews.
Media First were excellent
Media First were excellent. They worked with us to deliver a bespoke media training course, tailored exactly to our needs. Most of the attendees were very nervous about the day, and although quite tired by the end of it, they all got a great deal out of it, and their confidence in dealing with the media has grown massively.
The tutors were excellent - clearly experts in their field, professional, knowledgeable and able to cope with the inevitable disruptions when busy staff had to step out of the training to deal with urgent issues.
Media First training…
I attended a Media First training session arranged as part of a leadership programme through the Chartered Insurance Institute. The session was delivered by two professional journalists and included written, radio/recorded and TV/filmed media exercises. I found the session really helpful for my career development and I would recommend the course for anyone looking for media and communications training.

I am also a big fan of Media First's blog. Lots of great tips, packed into an entertaining read.
A super media communications company
I had media training here to overcome my personal fear of media interviews. They were excellent and helped me enormously. My organisation now routinely uses this Media First for all our media training. A sympathetic and nurturing organisation I have no hesitation in recommending.

I thought the interview training was excellent. They also send weekly top tips for interviews type emails, often worth a read too.
Excellent media traning
A very interesting, interactive and revealing day. The hosts knew their stuff and put us out of our comfort zones but in a very supportive and involving way. Great fun and a real insight into how the media works. Anyone who could find themselves in front of the camera or with a mic in their face needs to go on this training to prepare for what otherwise could be an embarrassing episode at best, or a disaster at worst.
great blog
great blog. I like the examples from public life - both the good and innovative practice examples and and the "car crash interviews"
Really valuable training for anyone…
Really valuable training for anyone facing media interviews. And love the blogs which reflect on current media engagement performances of those in the spotlight.

I have worked with Media First for many years now and I trust and view them as a really important extension of my team. They deliver first class media training that my clients always say are the best training courses they have ever experienced. The team and the course leaders/journalists they work with are supportive and helpful. Some of the subjects we tackle can be quite tough, and Media First takes great care in making sure the programme is bespoke for the needs of my clients, with excellent one to one and group training sessions, the course leaders always adapt each course as the day goes on to really make sure they are delivering exactly what we need at that time. They are a real asset to any business of any size. Trustworthy, confidential, approachable and a great team to have on your side. They help my business and my clients immeasurably.
