No responsibility ! Low Service

Unfortunately, my experience with MediaMarkt customer service has been very disappointing.

We purchased a Bosch washing machine from MediaMarkt for around €1,100. The machine had a major failure after only approximately 1.5 years of use, and now, after around 4 years, it has broken down again with a serious electronic problem.

The estimated repair cost is around €700. Bosch offered a discounted repair price of more than €420 because the machine is considered relatively new. However, the technician explained that this amount only covers the electronic part and that there may be additional issues causing the failure, which could increase the final cost to almost the price of a new machine. This is not what we expected from a premium appliance at this price level.

I contacted MediaMarkt service support twice. On both occasions, I was promised that I would receive a response within 48 hours, but nobody contacted me afterwards. I also left messages in the open repair case, but received no reply.

The biggest disappointment is not only the product issue, but also the lack of communication and follow-up from MediaMarkt. I expected a company selling expensive appliances to take responsibility, communicate clearly, and help find a fair solution.

I hope MediaMarkt improves its customer service and handles similar situations with more attention and responsibility in the future.

Employee tried to scam me by falsely…

Employee tried to scam me by falsely claiming that expensive insurance on a fan was mandatory because of the heatwave, which was not true, and by pressuring me to complete my purchase with him. Don't trust their prices or employees

Requiring insurance with the purchase of a fan is absolutely not the case and certainly not how we want to treat our customers.
