So absurd that I wonder if they think
I asked for antibiotics after a debt an implant, my dentist is not in London at present and as i mentioned I feel discomfort and inflammation he suggested a course of antibiotics to prevent any abscess. This is standard practice in dentistry. The request was denied as I need ti actually have an abscess to prescribe antibiotics used to prevent dangerous consequences possibly associated with implantology. So I will have to wait for an abscess to then treat it. It is such an imbecilic approach that makes me wonder if they actually employ real HCPs. All this after it took for ever to fill their form and where I provide e dry details with complete transparency. The worst online pharmacy I have ever experienced, and they all normally quits poor in competency.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us Feedback, and we note your comments, however, we strongly disagree with them.
Firstly, as you have stated yourself, you do not have a dental abscess. We have made it very clear on the product page for this medication that we prescribe it for dental abscesses.
Secondly, post-implant infections must be managed by the surgeon that was involved in the procedure or a similarly qualified surgeon who must examine the area first as there is a higher risk of post-operative complications, and it is not a standard infection that can be managed by a normal dentist.
Therefore, this situation is obviously beyond our remit and you need to be assessed and treated by your dental surgeon.
We are very sorry you were not happy with the outcome of your request for antibiotics, but our Prescribers always make their decisions in the best interests of patient care.

Spent a long time answering their questions in an effort to order Lumigan eye drops and believed I'd succeeded as payment went through only to later receive an e mail stating "we don't prescribe this"!!!!! So why is it on their site??? TOTAL waste of time.

However, we must stress that you requested medication for a condition that we do not prescribe for as it requires examination and treatment from your own GP or eye specialist.
It is made very clear what we prescribe the medication for on the product page, which you can see before actually getting to the medical questions, so we are surprised by your comments.
In addition, we do not take any payment until a consultation is approved by one of our Prescribers. Your pending transaction was aborted by us however, meaning your bank will have re-credited the full amount back to you.

Requested a certain contraceptive pill I like and have been on for years. After a lengthy process of questions and taking payment I was advised it was refused as they don't prescribe the contraceptive as a contraceptive....makes sense....not

We are sorry to hear the problems you encountered and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Unfortunately the medication you requested is for acne treatment only. We do not have it listed on our contraceptive page, only on our acne treatment page.
We appreciate it is also a contraceptive, but we are only allowed to prescribe it as an acne treatment. You should have noticed that all the questions were related to acne.
Please note, we did not take payment, and never do so until the medication has been approved by one of our prescribers. Therefore your payment was never taken but was aborted instead.

Lying about refunds - dangerous
Used the service and answered all questions. Wasn't allowed the item (despite paying) and a fair reason not to prescribe the item. It's now been TEN working days without a refund. They're currently blaming it on my bank (Monzo), I've contacted them (especially as I've received refunds from two other companies in the last two weeks no problem and Monzo have confirmed no issues their end.
Ten working days is scandalous, absolutely everyone knows that and nobody would find it an appropriate length of time.

We have already contacted you privately about this issue, however would like to re-iterate it is not a refund as we did not process your order and therefore have not taken any money.
Due to Data Protection we cannot directly speak to your bank about the delay with this specific transaction, but have given you a transaction code which should help them identity the transaction status and release this money back to you, as this process is not down to us.
In addition, we have previously spoken to Sage Pay (Opayo) about this issue, who state:
“The typical time frames for money returning to your customers bank is their own bank timeframes. If your customer is waiting longer than usual you can provide them with the Bank auth code of the transaction This will allow the bank to take the shadow off the transaction and release it earlier back in to the customers available bank balance. If need be using the same bank auth code the customer can ask their bank to complete an ARN check this is typically a trace to identify where within the bank system their money is.”
With this in mind, we advise speaking to your bank again, provide them with this code and ask them why this process is taking longer than expected.
Once again, we sincerely apologise about the delay but as you can see from the above, this is beyond our control.

Patient has provided evidence from their own bank which clearly shows that the bank have said they can take up to 30 days to re-credit the amount back to the patient.
Therefore, unfortunately we cannot speed this process up for the patient and it is entirely down to their own bank why they are taking so long. We never took for the money and simply aborted a pending transaction several weeks ago. The length of time for the re-credit to complete is rare and we fully understand is frustrating, but this is nothing to do with us and we have not lied about any information we have provided, despite the insinuation of the review left for us.

4 stars only because I can't review the service in reality.
Explanation: I ordered an item and had to answer medical questions, I then paid for the item. Following this Medical Specialist Company contacted me to state the item shouldn't be used for the reason I intended to use it so the order was cancelled and my money was refunded - there was issues with the refund but Medical Specialist Company intervened and managed to speed up this process for which I'm grateful.
I think 4 stars is a fair review as I can't give it 5 as technically I didn't manage to order from the website (due to the item not being suitable based on the reason I needed it)
Would attempt again if I needed another item

I filled in a lengthy assessment giving full and comprehensive details which took 1 hour and 10 minutes and when I tried to check out it asked me for the questionnaire all over again. It blows my mind especially as it's now 02.18. Let me know if you haven't got it so I can order elsewhere.

It is very rare to hear of our patients taking more than one hour to complete an online consultation, so it is likely that the page timed out and your information was lost because of this.
Unfortunately this is something out of our control and for security purposes, it is standard practice on websites when the same page is left open for an extended period. However, if you have a lot of medical information for our Prescribers, we advise you type it elsewhere initially (such as MS Word) and paste it into your consultation as you are going through your order. This would avoid the same issue re-occurring.
