I bought a sunglasses on July 22nd and after 2 days they contacted me saying that unfortunately the product was not available, I request a refund and until today (almost 2 months later) I don't have my money back, they say that the company bank should send a confirmation but that is not true... I canceled one order in ebay around the same time and I saw my money back almost immediately... this is a fraud to me!!!

First week of August, I ordered Century/Dunhill. Site advertised in stock and ready to ship. Received email saying it was out. They asked if I wanted something different. No I just wanted my refund. After several emails asking if I wanted something else. No, just refund, I still have not received refund! 25 days later and still no refund! This company are liars and thieves, don’t give them any money!

Initially, I experienced poor communication for about a month before posting my review. However, on the same day I wrote it, I received a call from a very polite representative who offered me a refund and, as a goodwill gesture, the same item delivered free of charge if it’s available in stock. The review should have been updated at that point, but I’m still waiting to confirm with my bank whether the refund has arrived, and the delivery of the sunglasses is yet to be confirmed. I’ll provide an update once I have a clearer picture.

I placed an order on August 16, 2025. I have been emailing the company and seem to be getting the runaround. I sent an email again and stated if order hasn’t shipped to cancel. I keep checking my order and there is no status of shipment as of today. I will not order again from this fraudulent company.

Do not order from this website. I never get an anwser from whatsapp or e-mail and never get a tracking on e-mail after the order.

They send me an email saying they send my package. It´s been 16 days so i messaged them on email. Now they are saying what I ordered is not available and that they wrote back "To resolve this as smoothly as possible, we kindly ask you to reach us via WhatsApp" if they did not have this in stock they themselves could have contacted me earlier, and not me after 16 days. It took this review for them to get back to me. I did get a refund, but i hope they can communicate better and early on instead

Order 260424 ordered on the 16th of April and i received an email stating order had been received. Have had no correspondence after this despite repeated emails. Now two weeks since i placed the order and have no idea if i will ever see the product i ordered or if i am going to get my money back. Be very careful ordering from this company. I will update this review if i receive any correspondence in the near future. Was contacted after this review. Told product i ordered was not in stock and was offered a completely different product as an alternative. Refused and asked for a refund. I was sent my money back four days later.

Customer service is awful!! They post items as available on website, when in fact they are not. I purchased sunglasses from them in August of 2024, did not receive until October. I will say they were authentic, so if you’re up to waiting…beware. I tried again in December only to receive the same response/excuses about shipping, not in stock, etc. I reached out to them before each purchase to ask if the items were in stock, and each time was told yes and that shipping will take 3-5 days. Unfortunately, in February 2025 I had to reach out to credit source to get my refund after writing to check in stock availability and telling company this was a Christmas gift. Mengotti tried sending me to Cashapp to order from their source, which was unacceptable to me. This company should be upfront about available stock, shipping, as well as being upfront about shipping due to war to let potential customers decide if they don’t mind waiting months for the items. Again, my sunglasses were authentic.

I do not know what these people sell, but there is nothing in stock and do not tell you.

I had to file a CC dispute to get my money back.

Buyer beware!

I purchased some eyeglasses on line on 5th November , 2024 and it took ages for my glasses to arrive. When they did arrive they were not the ones I wanted. We have been communicating since then and have received many emails of apology and promises it will be fixed vey soon . it i snow March and still no refund or communication. This outrageous i WANT MY REFUND! shocking service.
To add further insult to injury. They have threatened they will refund my money only after I remove this review. Are you kidding. This company is a sham!

I want to share my experience of buying perfume on the Mengotti website.

I accidentally came across a rare perfume—Bang by Marc Jacobs, which is almost impossible to find nowadays. On impulse, I placed an order and paid for it. The price was very reasonable. Normally, I don’t shop this way and am very cautious with online purchases, but this time, I placed the order first and only then started reading customer reviews and checking Mengotti's Instagram. It didn’t inspire much confidence.

Nevertheless, I decided to wait. A week later, the order status was updated, and two weeks later, the item was shipped via DHL. I had already started to relax, but then DHL returned the package to the sender. I became worried, but communication with Mengotti via WhatsApp and email was quick and clear. They apologized profusely, and the package was resent.

Until the very last moment, I expected something to go wrong. But on March 13, I received my order, and I’m happy! It took only a month from the time I placed the order. Many thanks to Mengotti and their team for their great work!

I want to emphasize once again: despite everything that initially seemed untrustworthy, it all ended in the best possible way!

I had my review taken down as it stated that I had submitted had infamatory information. 🤔 Placing an order and paying for a perfume in March 2024 which was not in stock..TRUE.. continuous correspondence in regards to my refund..TRUE.. saying that another section deals with refunds to me..TRUE..went online to find something else as I had no refund as yet and saw the same perfume I was told was out of stock still being advertised as in stock..TRUE.. sent a few more desperate attempts this month to get my refund but now they don't even reply.. TRUE.. hopefully some of the public take note of this as it is NOT defamatory is unfortunately ALL TRUE I only gave 1 ⭐ to be able to send another review

Never order from this company! You will not receive your goods and you will not get your money back! I have both reported them to the police and to my bank.

Ordered a fragrance which was in stock on the website, and was contacted a few days after saying that it's actually not in stock. Requested cancellation/refund and got stuck in a loop where the Mengotti says that the refund was processed on 3rd of January, but I still did not get it, nor my bank has any information on the refund. I think I am going in circles with them and that I'll have to request a chargeback from the bank.

UPDATE: They've refunded me via Western Union since the refund on my card was stuck. It took me almost 3 months to get this resolved.

It's been almost a month without any update for my order, and now it's been a week since they last responded to any of my emails. The website is still saying my order is processing. I see other reviews about trouble getting a refund. I'll just wait a bit longer and claim a dispute directly from my bank.

If you notice, the good reviews for them are all short, sweet, and direct to the point. All bloated reviews. But if you see the number of negative reviews, then you will know their business model.

MAR 2025: Still no refund. They've asked for my bank details already, twice (the second time they said "We were asking about your bank details" but I have sent it way before). They keep on not responding when being asked about updates on the refund. They will not reply for weeks.

DEC 2024: It's been 5 months, and they haven't refunded the money yet. We are just going in circles and they keep on delaying and delaying.

JULY 2024. I ordered a perfume back in July but it was out of stock. I have been religiously following up with them, and they keep saying that the refund has already been processed with the payment company, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED THE MONEY YET.

Happy with my sunglasses from Mengotti. They arrived safely, looked amazing, and the support team was so helpful throughout. Great service!

I ordered a pair of sunglasses on the 14th October. It took over seven weeks for the order to arrive which was a little worrying. However, they arrived today and I’m delighted with them. Excellent quality and they look great. I would recommend this site.
