I don't even want to give them 1 star

I don't even want to give them 1 star. The GM there never smiles has a sore face. She sold me a shirt she took off the tags so I could try it on. Upon arriving at home. I found out I had the same shirt hanging in the closet. Forget the fact that I was burying my son the next day. When I went back several days later to return the shirt the same lady the GM assisted me. She tried to put the blame on another employee. Even tired to accuse me of wearing the shirt. I do not do those things. I said no ma'am it was you that took care of me that day. She took the tags off. and her reason for not giving me a refund it because the tags had been taken off. I told her you need to tell your customers your return policies. I started using Men's warehouse because they customized a suit for me a couple of years back for my mom's funeral. I could of gone anywhere else got a better deal and got my money back. I will no longer be returning to men's warehouse.

Getting a refund wasn't so fun

I had a quickly approaching wedding and bought a suit at the Men's Wearhouse in Lexington, KY. The jacket wasn't in stock and had to be ordered.

While I was waiting for its arrival, I found a high-quality suit at another retailer that was in stock and was on sale for $300 less than the suit I bought. I went back to Men's Wearhouse apologetically to cancel the suit before it arrived.

The Manager who sold me the suit was friendly and helpful when I was purchasing the suit but seemed annoyed when I asked to return it. He told me it couldn't be refunded until the suit arrived at the store and then went on to tell me that I "went under the rug" on him by purchasing at another retailer. I couldn't believe what I heard but left and planned to come back when the suit arrived.

I never got a call that the suit had arrived, but I called a week later (after the wedding was over) and they said it was there. Fortunately, someone else helped me with the refund. They were very friendly and didn't try to make me feel bad about the return in any way. That part was a relief.

My recent experience at Men’s Wearhouse…

My recent experience at Men’s Wearhouse was highly disappointing. Despite three employees being present, none greeted or offered assistance to me or my two groomsmen. They were more interested in leaning over the counter and making jokes with no follow-up. The real issue began when we discovered our outfits didn’t fit properly. Shockingly, the staff intended to send us away with these ill-fitting outfits without any explanation or solution. After being measured two months in advance, we were given just three days before the wedding to pick up and correct any issues—a completely unreasonable timeframe. This led to us scrambling from location to location, trying to resolve the fitting issues, adding unnecessary stress right before the big day. For $240, we received clothing that didn’t fit and poor service. To make matters worse, we were told to take the ill-fitting items with us and return them the day after the wedding or face additional charges. The lack of care and professionalism was astounding. Men’s Wearhouse has clearly deteriorated since COVID, and this kind of service is unacceptable. I expect a full refund for the terrible experience and the poor quality of service and products.

Had to return my pants because they were too tight. I purchased the suit in Chapel Hill, NC. Returned in Buffalo near Galleria mall. The salesman was extremely nice and cordial. Didn't give me a hard time; and in fact, accepted the exchange (need a larger size) without grilling me as to "why" and mens warehouse will even mail me my pants to my home. 5 big stars for this company and understanding the importance and value of good customer service.

Prom and Wedding rental issues

We recently had a few issues with prom and a wedding. Multiple re-measurements and travel to finally get things correct. At the end of the day, men's wearhouse made it right with me once all the rentals were returned. I know many people would never go back, but to step up and make it right with me was awesome! They are still on my list when rentals are needed for my family!

STAY AWAY FROM MW AT ALL COSTS

If we could give negative stars we definitely would. Their service doesn't even warrant a 1 star. We would recommend to avoid Men's Wearhouse at all costs.

My husband and I used Men's Wearhouse in Grand Chute and Grafton. The communication amongst both was horrible, one store would tell us one thing and the other something different. Everyone was fitted/ordered prior to the deadline. The pick up time was 3 days prior to our wedding. Out of our 6 reservations, 5 suits didn’t fit and were stained in multiple spots. The bride's father's suit jacket was too large and had multiple large stains. The groom’s father’s suit did not fit at all and had to be completely reordered. The staff was not confident it would be here for our wedding. The staff at Grafton said they would hand deliver it on the wedding day by 11am, if it was available. Therefore he had to drive an hour to Grafton and back on the wedding day to pick up all of the reorders. 3 of the groomsman suits were either too small or too large and had to be reordered. With only 3 days to reorder, we were lucky the suits even made it on time for our wedding. And thankfully the groom's father ran to pick up the orders.
After we returned the suits we brought up our concerns to the Grand Chute location with all of the issues that occurred. We were told that the day manager would speak with the location manager for a resolution and get back to us. A week passed so, we called the customer service line to see if there was an update, because the Grand Chute location wouldn't answer. They came to a resolution that all the reservations would get 50% off due to all of the issues and caused stress on our wedding day. We were told they would be issued in 2-5 days. 5 days passed and no one received their refund. Called again to see why the refund was not issued. Was told it was due to the way our wedding party paid and they said they would issue a check and mail it. 4 days passed and there is no check in the mail, called back to see what the hold up is and was told we should have them in hand already and nothing they can do on their end and it will be 21+ days for the checks because they were having issues on their end.

The communication amongst their so called customer service and stores/managers is horrendous. Nothing but lies and talking to different people that have no clue what is going on.

I'm assuming they are hoping we would just forget about all of the issues and the refund.
Unfortunately, we would never recommend using Men’s Wearhouse for your wedding or prom. Or for any of your suit needs. Stay away from them unless you want unnecessary stress and just a hassle.

*Will update review as everything gets fully resolved.

You can do better

I was looking for a suit as a walk-in and staff was short of people. Staff was very busy just taking measurements on appointments and phones and had no extra time, even to acknowledge me, explain or apologize. To give them credit one could guess the problem just being there. It was a nice place to see the different cuts and try on some different sizes to get a feel of what I was looking for, and I was not interrupted doing this. I am not a suit snob but the fabrics seemed like one could do better, and the prices for a suit will probably easily be $250 at the lowest and maybe over $400 for something not that impressive in my opinion, you are paying full price for something I describe as at best average quality. I guess if you just need a suit asap they could work, but I would suggest a local mall anchor store over this place if you just need something asap. The prices will probably be comparable, the salespeople might be more helpful and the quality can only get better. Outlet stores also might be a better option if you have the time to get something that is would be designer label for a comparable cost.

Terrible service.

We have purchased lots of clothing at this Men's Wearhouse, but after tonight, we will never be back. We came to the store tonight, May 14th 2024 at about 8:30 at night. We had called in advance to ask if they had what we wanted in stock, and they said yes, and to come on down. We got there, and this skinny salesman was unbelievably uncooperative. We wanted our son to try on a shirt, and the salesman would not unbutton it, or let him try it on. Without even measuring our son, he just said it wouldn't fit. We asked him again, and he refused to cooperate, and was rather rude in the process. I asked him who the manager was, and he pointed to an overweight man with a beard. I approached him to complain about the treatment we had received, and he was just as rude as the other guy. I asked him the name of the district manager, and he wouldn't give it to me. We left, and purchased hundreds of dollars of clothing at Kohl's. We will never be back, and I strongly encourage anyone else reading this to avoid this store if you appreciate good service.

Stand around for hours w. no service.

After realizing we needed a black suit for our black tie wedding were attending Saturday, the exchange sounded seamless & simple over the phone.
They had the suite in the correct size (& color) we needed in stock. Was told it would be at the front for us when we come in.
Came in to exchange the suit and sat around for OVER AN HOUR waiting for help. Only 2 people working & all they wanted to do was hold a phone in their hands.
NOBODY was helping customers.

WILL NEVER SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN.

DO NOT RECOMMEND

My son went in and was measured for a suit for his my daughter’s wedding. He picked up the suit 3 days before the wedding. He made the erroneous assumption that it would all fit (as a young adult his experience is limited) Come the wedding day - nothing fit. Thankfully he had a black suit - and a white shirt. He wore his black suit pants, his black jacket, his white shirt. He had to wear the vest and tie from Men’s wear house because he had no choice. He did not have a vest. The vest was ridiculous and baggy. My son looked ridiculous. I went in and told them the issues after the wedding. They took half off the cost. $123 for the rental of a vest that did not fit and a tie. That is highway robbery. I am sad because it really made him look silly in the pictures. We tightened the vest as much as possible - but it kept sliding out. Also he had forgotten that when he was 5 years old he was a ring bearer in his cousin’s wedding. He was measured in Chattanooga and went to pick up his tux at Lenox Square in Atlanta. They had no record of his existence. We spent hours while they attempted to alter what they had on hand to fit him. The suit jacket would have fit a 12 year old - but they shortened the arms to fit his. He looked like a football player with extremely wide shoulders and a very long coat. I will never allow any one I know to shop a men’s wear house ever again. It is wiser to shop a Kohl’s or Belk’s much better customer service and cheaper.

We scheduled an appointment for a Prom…

We scheduled an appointment for a Prom rental. Arrived on time, the woman was rude, told us they were busy and to sign in. I tried to explain we had an appointment, we were told to sign in and wait. A gentleman ended up fitting my son. Based on the price of rental, we decided to purchase a suit. He attempted include a $110 vest from a different line, instead of the $60 matching one. The sleeve alterations were $40. I sent my son alone to pick up his suit, I had him try it on when i got home. The jacket sleeves were not hemmed properly. We have to bring it back. Took the pants to our local tailor, because his shoes were not in yet. Another $60 for pant alterations. I was flabbergasted. Needed the waist taken in, hemmed and adjusted. These were just purchased and fitted 2 weeks ago by mens wearhouse. Overall disgusted by this entire process and I feel we were taken advantage of. I am a female completely unfamiliar with suit buying. So a "great deal" suit ended up costing upwards of $400. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Menswearhouse…

My online and customer service experience with menswearhousecwas very poor. I would not recommend this retail to anyone. After several failed attempts at making an order , it turns out my credit card was billed for all attempts forcing a block in my account. I reached out to them they re sending proof that nothing was purchased I only received a vague response se stating I should wait out 1-5 days for the charges to fall off, all this while I am without the use of my card which was blocked due to them processing for transactions that were failed . I later learnt they do not ship internationally nor via freighting companies, but even local addresses failed. It is a hassle to get through to Customer service they take hours before Alfred the AI can connect you with someone that can give sensible advice

Mens wewrhouse used to be a good place…

Mens wewrhouse used to be a good place to go for a suit. About 10 years ago they had great customer service and a great selection. They had employees that knew what they were talking about and cared about the customer. I went in last month and had to wait 15 mins before anyone noticed we were there. They had to have my pants sent in as they didn't have my size. I was told 5-7 days. It was 3 weeks. When I went to pick them up only 1 person was working and she was dealing with a customer for 20 mins on the phone. Complete opposite experience from years ago.

Disappointing

I would have given zero stars but it wasn’t an option. This place’s service and manager in Orland Park, IL was awful. The tuxedo was overpriced and the wait for pickup was long. We had a receipt that said paid in full zero owed but when we arrived they wanted 3 cents. Seriously after spending $270 on a tux they made us hunt around for three cents. When I complained the manager tried to grab my receipt and force a refund for a wedding happening this weekend. Go somewhere else.

Worst interaction I’ve had with a Retailer Ever

Worst interaction I’ve had with a retailer ever. I was sick with a Covid diagnosis and could not attend the wedding i was suited for. I was so sick that I couldn’t call to let Men’s warehouse know that I didn’t attend the wedding, which was a 5 hour flight away from my home state. Needless to say, I had to pick the suit up the day before my flight because it was impossible to pickup a suit up and travel on the same day. In any case, I thought a doctor’s note would suffice anyway and they would be understanding of the fact that I was sick and never made it on the plane. I was sorely mistaken. This worker was very rude to me and my wife, and he implied that I was dumb for failing to call the day I picked up the suit and/or brought it back the same day. Zero empathy for the fact that I literally had a 102.7 fever and couldn’t get out of bed or sit-up the day I was supposed to be traveling. After demeaning my intelligence, I pay $200 for a suit I never wore. I won’t be coming back here again.

I went to the Men’s Wear house in Beaumont Texas to get treated like crap. I ask the worker for a different size and she refused to give it me. I politely asked her if this was their policy she never responded.but She nicely gave the other people the sizes they needed they were white and one of them was a man I feel discriminated against . Well the manager did nothing but made us wait while he took care the other customers like we did something wrong. I think they tried to discourage me from getting a tuxedo being bias Of my race because the manager made a comment you have to pay in full not payments like we broke or something not telling any of the other customers anything like that. It was a horrible experience.

Not at all happy with tuxedo rental

Not at all happy with tuxedo rental. I ordered a black one for grandsons senior prom. Originally they sent navy. Sent that back. Suit not available until day before prom so no time for adjustments. Shirt was a 4x. I ordered 2 x. Pant zipper had to be jimmied because that wasn't right. All in all a bad experience. Won't happen again.

I have had a horrible experience

I have had a horrible experience, debating gloss with the men's suit warehouse customer service team. The shoes I purchased online did not match the picture on the website they were much glossier and when I went to return the items they tried to sell me a different product, and basically did everything within their power to not process my refund.

I have made it very clear this item is not fit for purpose and does not match the sample on the website. i.e. the images.

"Under Australian Consumer Law If your product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description or sample, then you may be eligible for a refund, exchange or any drop in value of the product (if you choose to keep it)."

Even after sending back the item at my own expense in a padded envelope. They continue to argue with me. It's the last time I will be shopping with them.
