A Viking delivery was delivered on the Fourth day after ordering, not next day.
Apparently the driver ran out of time!
Perhaps Menzies should invest in some satnav tech.
Beware that any order from Viking will likely use them.

Would be zero stars if possible. I made an order from Viking and waited in for three days and Menzies failed to deliver on all three, claiming no-one home. Viking were useless in trying to make things easier across the three days (like providing a usable tracking number, supplying a time slot, giving courier my number), and Menzies proved uncontactable by phone. It’s hopeless performance like this that drives people to Amazon, who, for all their faults, at least gets the job done.
Driver Caused Damage On Our Property
Incompetent driver drove straight through plants and damaged garden landscaping materials, then just drove off before I could get to him! Took it up with Viking, who employed Menzies and got nowhere. Shocking service, would never use either company again!
Disgusting company
Disgusting company, took over from Yodel here last year, what a joke! Continuously fail to deliver on time, for goods which are imperative, means we have ran out of supplies twice in a month. What is the point of this company???? Hope they bugger off soon!
Viking distribution centre, Menzies …
This company is the distribution company for Viking office supplies. I have waited for a small duo pack of HP ink cartridges for one week + 1 day and made telephone calls almost daily in an attempt to locate where my delivery is! It is still yet to be delivered exactly 1 week + 1 day later! This is despite being told it would be delivered the next day.
The Tracking the was told me it would be delivered on Monday. Apparently the driver couldn’t find the address and didn’t show up. I have waited and given my hospital appointment times and rushed home from important hospital appointments via the Viking customer services line to no avail still no delivery. Finally, I was told it would be delivered on Thursday and I waited 24 hours in my home and guess what still no delivery. They could’ve easily fitted the cartridges through the letterbox. They could have been sent by Royal mail. Viking need to get their skates on and change from this appalling logistics company. If my parcel was too small they should say or, employ drivers who can read a map. I have now cancelled the order and ordered from Amazon who can deliver within 12 hours. They are doing themselves no favours by staying with such a terrible logistics company. I will never order from them again.
Delivery company who have no interest in doing their damm job…
Menzies are the delivery company for Viking Direct. My order was meant to arrive on 03.01.24, but didn't arrive. I was sent another email saying it would come the next day, it didn't. I spoke to Viking on 05 01.24 who assured me they would speak to the depot and it would be delivered that day. Guess what it didn't. I spoke to both Viking and Menzies late that afternoon who said that the driver was 40 minutes away and it would definitely arrive.
Absolutely rubbish service, I have sat in for three days waiting for a parcel that nobody appears interested in delivering, surely if that's your business you would atleast try to do your job
Menzies are useless
Menzies have the monopoly on supplying newspapers to newsagents in my area (Eastbourne)
While their drivers do their best, the management and ogranisation at Menzies is terrible.
Our papers frequently arrive late with no reason or apology. No managers are ever available to resolve any issues. They only care about money.
Really helpful staff (Moray)
Based in the moray area I had to call into the menzies office today to make a request for my parcel being delivered due to shifts I was working, even though my parcel had already been put out for delivery the office staff were straight onto the phone to the driver to try and help get my parcel. Both the office staff and the delivery driver were a great help which I really appreciate as I understand how busy they can be so thank you so much!
Unprofessional drivers
I was in Newcastle under Lyme on Thursday evening and one of your drivers, without any consideration, decided to ignore giving way on a roundabout and carried on over it, causing several cars to hit the brakes. I had children in the back and his actions were unacceptable. He angered me and everyone around. His reg ended in KDH

I get medical supplies once a month from menzies and can't fault them at all.
It's always the same chap that comes, and he is lovely.
He follows what's written on the parcels, like how to get into the building if the doors are locked and the intercom system is down. 7 months now and I've only missed him once, and even then he delivered the following day.

Atrocious, useless
Menzies are the chosen courier for Viking Direct.
They are dreadful.
I had an urgent order - it was never delivered. Two weeks later Viking agreed to replace the order - Menzies took 5 days to deliver it, then left it at the wrong address, out in the rain (this included paper, envelopes and files - all ruined)
Now they are doing it again - 5 days and no delivery..
Utterly atrocious.
They have just lost Viking a customer.

Nobody knows how to quote.
Despite a full web page explaining their company philosophy and how they care, I gave up trying to get a quote from them every day for FIVE days. Either the person on the end of the phone couldn't speak English (that I could understand), left to find someone who knew their job and didn't come back, promised to send me an email explaining how to get a quote (but didn't), or did not answer my request for a quote made by completing their online form! Don't waste your time unless you are a multinational shipping to one address. Not just useless but rude too.

Most dangerous driver ever ignored the Red traffic lights at 13.30pm today, racing towards us on the wrong side of the road passing stationary traffic on his inside that was waiting for the red light to change, gave us abusive gestures. Can't wait to upload the dashcam footage & the cctv outside weatherspoons in March pe15. & pass all the relevant information onto the police & Menzies distribution head office. Driver refused to give me his details saying he didn't have time. Photos taken of the van & him covering his face. Van reg sg69 hmv Mercedes sprinter. I am left shaking from this scary incident.

Again it looks like I may have been hit by the Viking curse! Waiting in for my parcel, just checked the tracking and items missing. Called Viking and looks like my parcel has actually gone missing, even though it was scanned into the delivery hub. I await my delivery, which won't be today, so off to the shops I go to purchase the item I needed to be delivered.

I expect my delivery yesterday, but none come to deliver my parcel. This morning i hear how someone quickly throw something in my letterbox and go away. when i go to check what is it i was surprise. I found card from them how they was trying to deliver my parcel yestarday but i didn`t was at home !!!!

Awful. No one cares
My parcel was given to a 3rd party who misdelivered the parcel to another address. Because it was marked as delivered and had a tracking number, no one would take responsibility for the lost item. This left me £90 out of pocket. Neither the item sender or the courier companies would take ownership and accept responsibility. I would be better using a pigeon next time.
