Appalling delivery Service
No newspaper delivery to local newsagents from Ellesmere Port hub, 2 days running with no explanation. Shocking and very unprofessional.
sadly
sadly, my story is no different from those below. I too ordered from Viking who have used Royal Mail in the past with perfect next day delivery. I suggest they look at Menzies who are letting them down. My cartridges were delivered to a place with a different postcode-although they told Menzies that my delivery was complete. Viking are trying to track the delvery down but as I know that this householder is away for two weeks I can't see what they can do
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Viking use them as their delivery service which I will not be using again unless they change their delivery service. No attempt to knock on my door (which I had waited all day for) Didn't even enter my driveway to even ATTEMPT to deliver!! Rang me, missed it, rang back because as no message left, driver was rude and obnoxious, and basically said it was my fault for not answering the phone, and now he was 15 miles away so I will just have to wait until tomorrow!! Not impressed at all.
My companie changed for Menzies some…
My companie changed for Menzies some time ago. Ever since we keep having to chase up our stuff. This week we ordered 8 boxes of milk - recieved 6 while dispach paper says 8 delivered. Same happens with other things. Every delivery something is missing and companie trying to claim they have delivered it. Wouldnt recomend Menzies neather for personal or business purposes. Terrible companie
West of Scotland
Delivery of large dual fuel cooker from Oban Depot to remote area of West of Scotland. Driver, Barrie MacStay ,was very helpful enabling us to get the item right into the house.
If I could have given zero stars I…
If I could have given zero stars I would. 3 consecutive days 3 different excuses, they had a problem with the address (no one else has a problem), item went missing and today delivery attempt failed (I was here all day). Viking who use this delivery company have been added to my list of companies to avoid due to incompetence of the delivery company they use.
Very uncorrect company- AVOID
Very uncorrect company. They covered behind a lot of contractors. Don't pay correctly to the drivers. The most horrible companie in UK. Avoid any contact s with them.
Had to give 1 star to do review.

This delivery service is woeful to be polite. Constantly delivering papers to local shop at ridiculous times. On numerous occasions morning papers arrive close or past midday. Local shop manager says calls to company are a waste of time. Management need to get there heads out of backside. Dire service with no customer respect.
Happy to park in disabled bays while…
Happy to park in disabled bays while off loading parcels in to a wall collection port. I asked to him to move . He did not
Had to wait to park in disabled bay. Not exceptable. The was a space nearby but he could be bothered to to walk there. Registration number L067FVD
The worst.
I recently ordered some ink from Viking Direct, who use Menzies. The delivery failed 2 times over 3 weeks. Menzies queried the address even though it was the same one as I have given successfully to other couriers. They even sent me a photo of my house for me to confirm - which I did - and then just returned it to Viking. Complete waste of my time. I'll never use any supplier who uses Menzies -they are the worst.
no way to contact this company
With no way to contact this company, I have a parcel that was “loaded to van” five days in a row from the Stockton distribution centre - nothing and no parcel. I called the number on the website she just said she couldn’t help me at all. Gave me a number of someone in Scotland who also said they couldn’t help me. Where is my parcel and why is there actually no way to contact you guys?
It is not even a star, honesty.
It is not even a star, honesty. Avoid this place to work for. The office could be more robust and professional. I'm a current employee, working for a few years.
If I could give a 0
If I could give a 0, I would.
Have had personal deliveries in the past from other reputable companies who started using Menzies and their delivery times went from excellent to very poor.
Now using them for our business, we expected a parcel to be delivered last friday, and the tracking said out for delivery at 6.30am, and also at 6.30am, so failed attempt..hmm, how is that possible.
Anyhow, we waited until after the bank holiday, and we were emailed to say that it had been delivered @ 1pm, but we were here all day, and no one even attempted to open a gate.
Now speaking to the retailer, it says it may be out for delivery...Completely unprofessional service. I hope that more people share their experiences to make Menzie realise how bad their service is!
Terrible service
Terrible service, I spend over £3k per week with this terrible company. They make regular mistakes, missing items, wrongly packed items and fob you off with excuses but never rectify their errors.
As they are a monopoly with no other alternative to use we are stuck with them & they don't care.
Wish I could give zero stars
Unfortunately I am unable to leave a zero star review. Definitely the worst delivery company I have ever used. My advice to anyone thinking of using this carrier for your business is DON'T! they will single-handedly ruin your reputation!!
Awful service
Awful service!
Delivery date delayed day by day and then apparently the items from Viking have been delivered but God knows where ! I’ve emailed Viking I am waiting for their response I really hope this delivery company will go bankrupt, they shouldn’t exist if they have so many bad reviews ! Desperately needing these storage boxes and now I’m dealing with this ..
VERY POOR SERVICE - AVOID
Booked next day delivery online with Menzies for a local destination in Scotland. Parcel still not collected 5 days after specified date (despite getting email from Menzies saying it would be collected as booked). Tracking system not working. Phoned Menzies head office who directed me to APC Parcels who are the local subcontractor. APC directed me to Menzies local depot who said they could not help as online booking payments were processed by Parcel to Go and I had to contact them. VERY MISLEADING to accept bookings for next day delivery when clearly the service is very slow and impossible to track.
Lazy and ignorant staff.
I arrived at Stracathro Hospital around 17:15pm on the 15th of March for a shoulder operation, and was unable to access either of the two disabled parking spaces at the surgical unit, because one of their vehicles (SG72VVD) was parked across both bays. I am severely disabled and have a Blue Disabled Badge, something I believe their driver most likely does not. There were many other places the driver could have parked, but he decided to block not just one, but both bays. As I was to be in hospital overnight, I needed to park in one of these bays, as the other patient parking spaces are limited to four hours maximum. I was forced to wait for around twenty minutes until the driver returned. By the time I was able to park, the Surgical unit had closed up and was locked. I had to then call someone else to arrange for a nurse to reopen the unit to allow me to be admitted.
I can provide pictures to show the lack of courtesy that your driver displayed. It may have been convenient for him to park in this manner, but it was certainly very inconvenient for me.
I contacted their head office who said they would pass it to the local depot responsible. No one bothered to contact me and after about three weeks I contacted their head office again. They didn't bother to answer either. No excuse for this kind of ignorant behaviour. :(
Tracking system useless
Tracking system useless, late deliveries - obviously Viking chose them on price...
