Useless and unhelpful
Terrible. Going to trading standards about them. Parcel delivered to the arranged depot. Then it disappears. They are either thieves or incompetent. Help desk is worse than useless. Only interested if you have a Highland Parcels Number. I have the proof of delivery to their depot but hey we can't help you. WHO CAN HELP THEN MENZIES?

Useless, should be struck off as company. Managers useless, staff useless. Our bags sat 20 ft from the belt with no one arriving for 2 hours plus. Missed two trains because of it and in the end had to leave and let my colleagues pick up my bags. Sham company
They literally had one person working…
They literally had one person working on the arrivals carousel at Luton Airport. We just waited for 2 hrs for our bags!! The flight was only 45 minutes long. Absolutely disgusting behavior, and terrible service. The poor staff are none the wiser. Understaffed would be an understatement. The person running this operation should fired, no questions asked. What a complete embarrassment. The worst management in history. 2hrs!!! Ffs

Ordered something on eBay was due to arrive Wednesday 27th July but did not turn up. Spoke to the seller they looked into it and said that they courier service the use (Menzies) attempted delivery just after 1730 on the 27th but nothing had arrive as me and wife was home and also would of had a notification through on my phone. Spoke to seller again they said that they spoke to the couriers and would deliver on the 29th still nothing. Defo avoid these COWBOYS if you need to send something or if you order anything make sure who you buy from use a reputable courier service.
Noise
I live opposite a one stop Dewsbury they deliver papers very early at around 5 to 6 am and certain drivers have absolutely no respect for residents banging doors very loud radio and lights on we was here long before the shop all we ask is consideration ,does anyone else suffer early noise from these people..

I've been waiting for an urgent part…
I've been waiting for an urgent part for a machine. It was dispatched from Europe on a DHL Express service which worked fine until the package was handed to Menzies in Inverness for final delivery. It has been sat in their depot for NINE days and I still have not received it. They refuse to respond to emails from DHL and refuse to answer the phone to anyone. Rubbish service from a unprofessional organisation

Another bad review for Menzies. My parcel from Viking Direct, ordered a month ago, has mysteriously disappeared into thin air between their despatch and my address. Given that it contained an order of untraceable first and second class stamps worth a lot of money, this is suspicious to say the least. Any business using Menzies should change carriers ASAP. I have written to Viking Direct requesting this or we certainly won't be ordering from them again.
Vile attitude
I havent even dealt with this company but the driver of the vans reg MA22 PVK almost crashed into the back of me, my daughter and my newborn baby because I wasn’t going fast enough for him (wasn’t speeding) then started aggressively beeping his horn at me giving me the middle finger and signing that I was crazy whilst I was looking in my mirror at him. He scared me and my daughter and it’s a disgusting way to react to someone just because they aren’t speeding for you

I tried to write to Menzies to complain about the noise one of their drivers make between 5-6 am, but on their contact page I keep getting an error message saying that there is a problem with my email address, an address I use and have used for many years without any problem. Is it a deliberate "error" to prevent any criticism of their company.

Non-delivery
I ordered a box of pens from Viking Direct and Menzies were to supposed to deliver them. Tracking showed that the order had been delivered from their Linwood depot, however I was home at the stated time of delivery and I did not receive it. Viking contacted Menzies and were told that the driver had definitely delivered it, when I refuted this Viking contacted them again and were told that the driver visited the same location again that day and talked to the "lady" at the address who confirmed that I had received the delivery. I live alone and none of my neighbours had received any delivery for me. There is something very wrong here!

Had a colour LCD laser printer delivered, a faulty item delivery driver Picked up returns would not give receipt for a returned item or tracking number, No mention of any other sites that a return has been accepted But I do have CCTV of the sign written van and the person who delivered and the same person picked it up for return, because of this I could lose a lot of money, but luckily I have got lots of emails and CCTV on all four cameras and the registration number, company Not corresponding.

Menzies' deliveries here are unreliable
I have discovered that even though I live in the UK's fourth largest city, Menzies' deliveries here are unreliable and you never know if they'll be on time or an hour or more late. They excelled themselves this morning: newspapers due at 7.30 but still no delivery by lunchtime 5 hours later. Tried a number of newspaper outlets within 3 miles but they, unfortunately, appear to be on the same circuit.
Don't sign up with this company
If you are a small business, thinking of providing a newspaper service for your customers, please do not sign up with Menzies Distribution, Stanney Mill, Chester. Very poor service, we have experienced lack of customer service, lazy disrespectful staff. Newspaper bundles being thrown on the street, and in front of our shop, instead of being placed in the security storage for which the delivery drivers have a key. Returns are not being collected and processed, paperwork missing, lack of communication, expensive magazines which are not part of our order being added to our deliveries, the list goes on..... Unfortunately, due to Menzies monopolizing this industry they don't have any competition. We will be stopping selling their papers and magazines, due to their very unprofessional attitude.

Booked to have a package collected on a Monday morning for an overnight delivery. The package was eventually collected on Wednesday evening.
No answers their phones, no one replies to emails, shocking disregard to any sort of service.
When I did eventually speak with someone, I was told that the package would be collected on the Monday after the Jubilee Holiday. A full week since I booked it!
Don't use them. There other carriers in the UK. Save yourself the pain & the hassle.
