MetaMask Security measures are zero, opening the door to fraudsters
I have been included in a (eth-defi999.com) defi mining earning system through my Metamask wallet. But the people on the other side turned out to be fraudsters. The fraudsters even transferred the profits I earned and withdrawn to my Metamask wallet, as well as my principal, from my Metamask wallet to themselves without my permission and notice. In order to get my money, they deceived me again with various lies and stole it again under the name of deposit payment. My 1900 USDT money was stolen by fraudsters because Metamask was not secure.

I definitely do not recommend
I definitely do not recommend this wallet which does not have protection against phishing. Customer service web page are non-sens, mail or contact for report phishing scam into binplorer is non-existent. The fees are extremely expensive. Secure is not good. Additionally it is important to communicate about an additional Metamask shortcoming. Please note that WIF (Wallet Import Format) is not a private key. This is the insecure Base58 checksum of a key, which is stored, unencrypted, in your browser history. Thousands of viruses or Trojans export these checksums to transfer web access to your wallet. Never use WIF.

Metamask is the actual scammer
Metamask is the actual scammer. They stolen my money using some hacking bot and after seeing transaction account with money and address exist they told me they can't take any action against those frauds because its against their rules.
AVOID METAMASK

CENSORSHIP
A wallet that censors real DeFi products and comes bundled with a bunch of analytics.
No thanks!

All of my assets just magically disappeared
All of my assets just magically disappeared in a series of transactions that took place throught the day, today 8-4-2023. The support chat is useless and they claim that somehow I made a mistake. I'm not much of an S.E.C fan, but crypto need to be axed as an America investment vehicle until crypto can start acting like a safe reasonable and responsible investment. The wallet sells you or exposes you to the scam, then works hard and efficiently to protect the scammer....I only lost 500 bucks, but it could have just as easily been 5 billion. The whole crypto wallet system is designed to do this on purpose. My advice is only buy from actual American based investment firms...Fidelity, Blackrock, ....if you go through MetaMask, Trust wallet, or any other bs fly by nighters its only a matter of time before they decide to take your money and then blame you for them taking your money. RUN!!!! If they don't outright steal your money, they will use the Ether "gas fee" to bleed you dry. It's insanity, it's disgusting, and as of now it's perfectly legal to be a wallet thief. Stay away from any company that's not a respected domestic company.

Used to be a useful tool - no longer
Used to be a useful tool. Now the company behind the software has taken to censoring what users can and cannot transact with. Censorship does not exist in true DeFi. Avoid!

approved for 0 had 29,400 usdc sent to blockchain
I received an email from my tax program, that said some airdrop may have caused a taxable situation, of course, you would not expect a tax program that you pay good money for to send you to a scam site for a scam airdrop. So naturally I went to the site, connected for the bare minimum allowing the site only to see my wallet and make suggestions" There was a button predominately in the middle of the page click here to receive your rewards. I clicked, and as expected meta mask app opened with the accept or reject, and showed an almost 900 fee for these unknown rewards. Naturally I rejected the transaction, yet 29,400 USDC left my wallet when I saw the usdc was gone from my wallet, of course I was sick about it, but I went to etherscan to see what happened. The last transactions landing page had warnings all over it clearly saying this transaction was approved for 0 spend and 0 gas, yet my 29,400 usdc was none the less in the transaction. I don't care for what reason, ethereum, metamask , and my tax program are all guilty. I think how can ethereum process a transaction that was approved for 0 spend and 0 gas. I don't know if MM had anything to do with it or not, I just know i was nearly blind with stress, and no one was listening, just blaming me HOW SICK as I had done NOTHING but reject the transaction. Somehow the code is allowed to be ran offline and deleted because it doesn't go back to solidity. The entire community that will tell me some bs when I know what I did and I know what I saw. However in haste but way to late I found out about the revoke function. The function changed the landing page to show I went online and approved a transaction, the only approval was the revoke. I saved the coin apum and the pages source code. someday I will be able to prove it but there is no defence or excuse for allowing a transaction that has clear warning and statements that 0 spend and 0 gas was approved. Later the only code that was saved in this immutable transaction was proxy spend faked contracts. Furthermore the site stayed up and the chain continued to process transactions from known scam address. When this is allowed to continue even though it has been way too slowly established that it is a scammer, and I dont know if after knowing this if while they it appears have no way to stop it, seems since they know for so long that it is a scammer why they cant at least track it all down to the thief. But no excuse nor is there a defence to not have the ability to immediately freeze all his transactions in an exchange. The exchanges also know or should have known that they are receiving stolen property, illegal every where I don't care if they are dex or not there code should have a function, that stops money laundering there is no excuse for that, yet forking bad code with no solution for this, seems while knowing what a huge issue this is would seem to make them culpable. Still the code in the chain I think is first in line to blame. You cant allow your chain to run suspicious code offline still letting transactions that are known to have not be approved, bombard the chain until it's lack of logic accepts a forged proxy spend contract whose code has been ran off chain allowed to blow up because it doesn't return to Solidity, and allow that chain to be called functionable. It's trash. Smart wallets are evelving and multisig, but those who have been robbed by trash code and spent monts so stressed that they could barley see, I couldn't tell my wife I'm old already had a heart attack and only God got me through this without having a stroke. If this has ever happened to anyone else please don't revoke but get a screen shot right away and please get ahold of me. You POS scammers, I know your tricks you will rot in hell and don't waste time with me I will just point out how evil you are hash 0xdf1947ffb0cd3861e69fd91cf5a5b397a60e530490151ca803f9e5c195131c8e

100% pure garbage
100% pure garbage. They are no better than any other crypto type company. You can never reach anyone thru their support line. And they just hide with a bunch of nonsense " troubleshooting " tips, yet that never gets you an answer. As much as I hate the government, they may be right by banning these vultures. Or at the very least let the people get 5 minutes with the creators of this.

Ignore bad reviews, highly recommend
So many bad reviews because of people's negligence, if you give someone the pin to your bank it will get drained!!, If you give someone your security words to gain access to your crypto
( intentionally or NOT! ) It will get drained end of story, do no click on email links even if it says metamask (check the email address it's always a dodgy email address) if you click them they can install viruses on your pc or even mobile, because you lost your crypto because you have been a Helmut in what world do you think metamask is going to give you money out of there pocket lol I digress, had crypto in here for years now never any issues and again I get sent emails because I comment on crypto channels on YouTube and scammers get my email of there or twitter and sent email in the hope I will click them, just dont click any links simple.

It's extremely disappointing and distressing to see how metamask treat customers.I bought presale coins, clicked on a phising link sent by an imposter representing the presale coin I was buying.Lost USDT and ether from my wallet.I raised concern through chat and they raised a ticket.Despite 4 attempts and over 2 weeks, they haven't resolved. The only assistance I asked them is " don't worry about the lost coins", "I need to protect the coins I can claim once the presale gets over.i can't claim the coins to a compromised wallet.i requested their assistance on how to claim the presale coins from website to a new wallet as my current wallet is compromised ".There was no response and no assistance.i contacted the chat helpdesk again, raised a new ticket, no response. In a situation where i lost ETH,USDT and can't claim the presale coins.Very disheartening to see this sort of treatment of your customers
