Very good postbox, well made and attractive. Several neighbours said how much they like it and asked who its made by.
I didn't like the pretend crest on the front so undid the screws and removed it with bit of effort because of the paint and put my own outdoor waterproof flower stickers on it so it looks pretty now.
So is good you can customise it if you want to!

Excellent quality of product and sales team are very friendly. Would buy other products from them in the future

Had Bits missing, but am way to busy to deal with it

i went online and ordered a item which showed as in stock and payed instantly (metal shrinker/stretcher) after a while i chased it to be told it wasnt in stock and another shipment was due in , i then had to chase the details of the 2nd shipment and i payed again presuming the previous payment had been refunded, the item was then delivered to a unsafe address and went missing, so i have no tool and paid over 400 ,paypal sided with metz, so i lost out, i certainly would not recomend this company .

Easy to deal with, answered Pre-purchase questions on the phone so I knew what I was getting and fast delivery.

Really please with this product, so is the postman.

METZ SECURITY STEEL MAIL POST LETTER BOX DROP BOX PARCEL BOX SOFT CLOSE (£95)

Ok, so this is a long review, but if you're thinking about spending £95 on a letter box, it might help you!

Bought this direct from Metz Tools about a month ago and held off on the review for a while to see how it performed. Not a cheap item, but I am impressed. However, I might suggest that it should have a sign or logo announcing that it IS for the post & parcels. The only other possible improvement is to provide more suitable fixing bolts and a drilling template, possibly – see details below.

I purchased direct from Metz, which was an easy, friendly experience. Box arrived well packaged with an extremely fast delivery.

Customer service has been outstanding. There were a couple of small queries and Scott in sales offered to replace the item without any hesitation. I didn’t want the hassle of a return as I could resolve the issues myself, but it was very reassuring to receive the offer without a single word of argument from Metz. Suffice it to say that I understood my purchase to be the amongst the first of this new product line and it seems there were some minor teething troubles with the manufacturer. I have no doubt these will be quickly ironed out.

I chose Metz because of previous positive reviews of their letter / post boxes and some very negative reviews of other manufacturers. Certainly in use so far it does all that I want. It is roomy, quite easy to use with a helpful, soft close lid and effective internal security flap. Royal mail and all the usual delivery services seem to like it, although it would help if it was signwritten as a delivery box because there was a little early confusion about what it was and how to use it!

Importantly – it stays dry – even in the recent atrocious, stormy weather conditions. Letting in water seems to be a common complaint about some other boxes, but so far mine has remained totally dry despite being in quite an exposed position!

Installation can be a little tricky. Four concrete anchor bolts are supplied for the pre-drilled holes in the box base, but they were far too long for me to use. (Possibly, too long for most people unless you are fixing into a depth of something like 150mm concrete).

I mounted the box onto pre-existing 50 mm concrete slabs so I purchased separately some 75 mm M10 Rawlplug anchor bolts. Sadly, there was no drilling template with the box, but after some careful measuring, these worked well and no-one will be running away with it in a hurry!

If you need to fix to a vertical wall instead of on the ground, then you will need to drill your own holes into the back panel. I haven’t done this so I cannot say how it might work out. Sealing against rainwater might be advisable, perhaps.

All in all, I am happy with this purchase and think it worth the money.

Red replica post office box with a stand, good quality, good price, quick delivery..

Ordered a English Wheel the other week as I’ve previously had Metz branded metalworking tools that are great quality. I use my Metz shrinker stretcher all of the time!

On opening the wheel there was a manufacturing defect on the threaded tension assembly. I notified the company who were very apologetic and have organised collection and re-delivery at a time and day to suit me me! Cannot fault Scott on his customer service.

I’ll always come back to these guys, great tools, great pricing and excellent service.

Will be buying more from this company have used different types of products before and will buy for my own garage

Ordered the parcel safe and it was delivered in good condition, no instructions though I had to search in it for the feet. There is still one bit that was with the feet that I dont know what it is for, but the product is sound and a good size, over all very happy with it.

Great product, makes very tight bends on metal of the specified thickness but don't try and use heavier gauge metal as it will damage the formers.
Only issue I had was that the foot on one side of the tool was bent slightly. This was possibly caused during transit as the tool was shipped in cardboard/polystyrene packaging so had limited protection.

Delivered on time easy to use brilliant tool

The Bead Rolling machine was delivered on time. Its a sturdy piece of kit and does its job. I could have wished for a few more rollers to cover more functions but otherwise I'm pleased with it.

Had an issue with my shrinker spoke to Scott McCarthy sorted it very helpful will carry on using Metz tools for future tools.
