I purchased a Sigma TS-81 lens tripod foot from Microglobe and the service was excellent - the price was the best available - and the delivery was quick via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Cannot fault this company - I give them 5 stars. Fantastic product range available on their Web site too. Well done Microglobe.

Excellent service on the phone beforehand and later in the shop.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Went to buy one pair of binoculars and ended up buying two pairs.
We now have a pair of binoculars each and they are superb and better value than Argos or Amazon.

I order a protection filter, and some trouble with my adress. In one hour they phone to me asking to help them.
The order arrived at time.

I ordered a lens filter last minute for a photo shoot in December and needed to receive it next day. The guys could not have been more helpful and I was very impressed as it was only a small order and the first time I had used them (but not the last). Great customer service and knowledge.

The worse experience I had.Payed a item and after one months they say on the phone they don't have anymore,and they will send me the money back,when they will have time.

I did tons of online research on binoculars, identified 7 that I wanted to try: Microglobe spent an hour letting me try them out as we whittled it down to 3. Two cost over £400 and the third £155 from Barr&Stroud. I was very tempted by the more expensive ones but they recommended the cheaper ones as being almost as good and over £250 cheaper. They were knowledgable and patient. My only complaint was that it was raining outside!

This store has restored my faith in a London once rich of stewardship and excellent shops to enjoy a purchase in.
The afghanistani shop owner was a true delight to speak to, allowing me to try anything I wanted for almost an hour.

You now have a customer for life.

I ordered a night vision monocular but before I received it I requested a refund.

I was told this was ok and to ship it back.

I contacted them a few days later as it never arrived and was told they had contacted royal mail to have this returned...strange I've never herd of this being done before.

They told me that I would be refunded on Thursday...No refund...I phoned them and they said they would definitely do it on Friday.....17:40 And I have phoned them twice and PayPal once....

As it sits Microglobe are telling me They have refunded me and PayPal are saying that they haven't.

So I can only assume that microglobe are not being straight with me as PayPal have no reason no to tell me the truth.

I have a dispute opened that once microglobe refund me will be cancelled but they are refusing to.. this is for an item that is near £1000.

DO NOT SHOP WITH MICROGLOBE as I am out £1000 and just before chriatmas this is very bad.

This company thinks the consumer contracts regulations don't apply to them, they sent me a defective pair of binoculars, i returned them but they refused to pay my return postage, to add insult to injury they only partially refunded me less the original postage, i had to submit a claim through Paypal to get my money back, Paypal decided in my favour.
They still refuse to refund my return postage, this is against UK consumer law.
Never will i shop here again!!

If Microglobe is able to adjust the cost of transport depending on the weight/volume of an item (different shipping price for small - medium - large packages), their final prices will be unbeatable.

Firstly, before purchasing anything I've never ever thought of checking out an online shop reviews before, except for eBay.This was a case of the cart before the horse!
Microglobes online shop is brilliant, the prices are very good and the delivery of my purchase was prompt but that's where the good news ends.

My problems started when I returned my purchase under the long distance sales regulations which is 14 days for a full refund.
Cutting a long story short, I returned my purchase on the 31st of july 2017 and after an escalated case through PayPal I have eventually got my refund of £126.88 back on the 21st of September (thought I'd lost it)

Microglobe also told PayPal that I had only sent back 1 of 3 items and that they had already refunded me £12.80 for that item, which was totally untrue.
My next day tracked and signed for parcel weighed 667 grams and the item they said they received back only weighed 53 grams.

Microglobe you have a brilliant business there, website, products, prices etc, please focus on better service on refunds as that seems to be the biggest problem on these reviews.

I bought a pair of Barr and Stroud Sahara 12x50 binoculars from Microglobe the price was amazing. I feel compelled to comment on the the service this company provided, it was fantastic will certainly be back for any further optics I require.

Excellent service. The man helping had great knowledge about the products and helped me select the best products at an amazing price. Would definitely recommend to others who are looking for a great deal.

At their shop in Holborn, the man in charge guided me through the purchase of new Nikon pocket binoculars (steering me towards what he thought were the best rather than the most expensive). Then, when I got home and realised I had foolishly made a mistake, and needed a more compact pair, I returned to the shop and asked if I could exchange them for a smaller model (Aculon W10), which was a good deal cheaper this was agreed without a murmur, and part of my payment was readily refunded.
