Fantastic

I think I have just experienced the best customer service ever and purchased an absolute bargain at the same time
Every effort was made by the proprietor to assist me with the available options
There was no pressure whatsoever to sell
I will definitely be a returning customer

Very honest and gave me what I needed

I went in looking for binoculars and knowing nothing about how to choose for my needs. He was very helpful and genuinely seemed to take on board my requirements, suggesting a Nikon that was relatively cheap and very suitable. Chatty and friendly I felt I was getting honest service and not being ripped off.

Excellent customer service and competitive prices (binoculars)

Really good website with lots of useful information on binoculars. Really good range and prices beat Amazon. I went to the Holborn (London) store and the team there were incredibly helpful. They talked through my options and helped me pick out the right pair of binoculars. I was able to try out the various pairs I was interested in and their knowledgeable and friendly advice was incredibly welcome in this modern time of internet purchase mania. Nothing like going into a store and seeing what product you are buying. Highly recommend this store.

Acuter fixed magnification eyepieces

Perfect transaction carried out by Microglobe. Every item listed as in stock was delivered promptly by first class post. The four fixed focal length Acuter eyepieces were well packed and all in perfect new condition. Well impressed by the service provided to me by Microglobe thank you one and all. Mike

My favourite online photographic company

Usually I visit Microglobe when I need products with a great price and quality and they are very well in everything as long as I have seen but there is one thing to notice, these guys don’t collect reviews from their customers so when ever any one faces problem they leave a bad review here and the happy customers are just happy about their purchase. I recommend them using trust pilot for collecting reviews from their customers to build more trust and I am sure that most of their reviews will be positive after doing this

Good Service

I was looking around back in May for a Pentax O-ME53 eyecup and came across Microglobe who were by far the cheapest, I went to their site where the product was clearly stated as out of stock but you could leave your email address to be alerted when it was back in stock.
I was beginning to give up hope when I got an email from them in August telling me the item was back in stock, I ordered straight away and received the item a few days later saving me a lot compared to other sellers.
Communication was clear and the item was delivered as described, no complaints from me

Excellent service at internet prices

Definitely recommend these guys. I was buying binoculars, which are an expensive purchase and quite a personal choice. I needed to try and compare them against other models, rather than just pick the cheapest price off the web. This is where Microglobe were fantastic. The store is in central London, so it was easy to visit them and try a number of different models. They knew their stuff, offered great service and did it all for as cheap anywhere I could find online.

All good in my experience with Microglobe

"If had read the reviews I probably would not have used this company. However I didn't so I did! The result was 100% OK. So let's try and analyse the problem. When you are disappointed everything negative is magnified in your frustration so you give vent to that frustration by writing a review as negative as it can get. Whereas if you have had the service you expect you, in most circumstances, take it as read and don't even bother to review it. I have no doubt that the negative reviews on this site represent a VERY, VERY small percentage of their total sales; in which case the chances of having one of these bad experiences is very unlikely indeed. " Hi readers , I am quoting a review from Stephen Booth ( hope you don't mind Stephen !) because I agree 100% with it. I bought a 16x50 Nikon Extreme binoculars from Microglobe , it arrived very promptly , I could track it along its route and it was brand new , fresh and is excellent and I got it at a very good price. It prompted me to buy a Nikon Monarch 5 12x 42 which also arrived very promptly , the emails I got from Microglobe wre very courteous and I have no complaints at all with them , both pairs of binoculars are excellent , they were packed very carefully and well protected with FRAGILE labels on the boxes. So my experience with Microglobe has been very satisfactory indeed . The prices I paid were extremely good value for both items and they worked well out of the box.

Good prompt service.

I ordered two lens hoods and two lens caps. Microglobe replied that the lens caps were out of stock did I want a partial refund? I replied Yes, it happened and the remaining lens hoods came swiftly.

A perfect transaction.

Having to chase a refund for a paid item that wasn't in stock! BEWARE!

No doubting that they're cheap but they sell items that they don't actually have in stock! I ordered and paid for 2 x nikon batteries but only one arrived. The included invoice stated that the order was only for 1 battery but when I checked there were definitely 2 ordered. E-mailed sales with a copy of the invoice and my order no. - no response. Called them this morning and then received an apology because they claimed that they only had one in stock. On questioning, I was then told that they would refund the difference that I had paid but I had to chase for this otherwise I could see that they would have just kept my money! Still waiting for the refund .....!!

Probably the wait was for the stock arrival of your ordered item but we were asked for a refund which we did. We are very disappointed and sorry for the bad experience which you had with us.

Proffessional buyer, Amature mistake!

I have dealt with microglobe several times over the last 1.5 years without any problems at all. I've bought bulk purchase items and have received good discounts and prompt delivery. Up untill 3 months ago I'd never had reason to return anything for a warranty claim untill a pair of binoculars were delivered at Xmas 2015 which were faulty, basicly the lenses were not aligned properly. I returned them after a quick email too and from Microglobe confirming that "On return they would dispatch a replacement pair". I sent them via recorded delivery at expense to me and they arrived at Microglobe the next morning. Excuses were from "they have been sent to manufactuer for replacement" "waiting for stock to be delivered" etc etc. That was 3 months ago and after exhausting every avenue I'm still without a replacement pair of binoculars or the agreed refund, which was promised in the last set of communications. Cheap prices do not come without problems so be warned. I'll not be using Microglobe anymore, and all for the sake of a £49 pair of binoculars they have lost thousnds of pounds worth of business.

Good Prices, Bad everything else

I read a load of reviews on this company and didn't believe that they could be as bad as some were making out. I was wrong !
There is no disputing the prices are some of the best online, but the service and comms is terrible. You get the feeling that this is a website with huge capability run by 2 or 3 people in a shed who simply cannot cope.
Responses to emails other than standard "we are checking and will get back to you" are slow / non existent. Calls are very rarely answered and not really that helpful when you do get through.
I paid for an item 3 months ago and still haven't received it even though it was supposed to be available some time ago. Don't believe the "In Stock" note on the website.
Bottom line... if you not in a hurry, happy to pay upfront and are prepared to wait indefinitely, then they are great. If not, I would go elsewhere as you will be very disappointed.

Good service, no problem

I was frightened when i placed my order for a pentax lens, as i read same bad reviews, but the price was very cheap (thanks to an offer), so i tried. While checking out the order, there was a problem with the shipping costs (as I live in Italy). I wrote an email asking how to pay the difference and riceveid a prompt answer. The items was shipped the day after and I 've received it today (only 3 working days from Uk to Italy). Good service and good item!
