Many people were dissatisfied with the product quality, particularly the operating system, which they found to be problematic and intrusive with unwanted updates. Customers also frequently reported issues with the technology, including difficulties with cloud sync, website navigation, and the functionality of peripherals like pens and onscreen keyboards. The customer service was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to get human support, experiencing robotic responses, and facing endless loops when trying to resolve issues. Problem with business email

I tried to send an email to an Outlook address, but the recipient did not receive it. Additionally, when I sent an email to a Gmail account, the sender profile picture was incorrect and showed a different image.

Customer service is non-existent

Customer service is non-existent. Cannot access my account to make any changes or to eventually cancel my subscription. Will never use Microsoft 365 again because they do not offer any support to access my account unless I pay them ($90/month until you cancel...but you can't cancel because you can't access your account). I will see if I can launch a complaint to the CRTC.

Zero options

Would love help but there is literally no where to go to fix this or to talk to someone about it. I own a small business, am the admin for the account. I am logged out of the web. When trying to log in to the web, it asks I go to the Authenticator for a code. I am also logged out of the Authenticator app so I try to log in, in doing so, it requires a code from the Authenticator app- it is a broken loop and there’s literally no where to go from here. I can’t even cancel my account!!

How many years have Microsoft been in…

How many years have Microsoft been in business? I ask because after the last update, my laptop now takes ages to get connected to my router, before this update, connection was immediate. It keeps telling my there is a problem with the
driver not being installed properly. When I try to roll back the update I find this option for this particular update has been denied. Yes, I know I can factory reset buy only I know the hassle getting all my software re loaded (especially Office) will bring. If I could afford an apple, I would go to them.

Bought a new fully spec-ed MS surface laptop…never again

Bought a new fully spec surface laptop that died within a week. Brought it back to the retailer and can't swap it. Will be sent in for repair - have to wait 21 days. Unbelievable - first and last Microsoft laptop that I am buying. Products can die - but this service is really bad. I am dependent upon this but nobody seems to care. Policy above customer that's clear.

No Service form Microsoft

SHOCKING NON EXISTENT SERVICE

A company that lack manners. Does not reply to customers.
Microsoft does not fix problems.

You have ignored letters, reviews and have demonstrated no customer service, no concern for customers.
You have DONE NOTHING TO BLOCK THE RUBBISH EMIALS THAT YOU ALLOW INTO OUR HOTMAIL ACCOUNT.

You have DONE NOTHING to fix the filters to stop all the gambling, inappropriate sexual emails.
You have done NOTHING TO FIX CUSTOMERS CONCERNS.

IT IS WAY OVERDUE THAT YOU IMPROVE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THAT YOU FIX THE FILTERS AND STOP ALL THESE TIME WASTING RUBBISH JUNK EMAILS.

ENOUGHT IS ENOUGH, FIX TGHE ISSUES, REPOLY TO CUSTOMERS AND DO BETTER.

Glorified Advertisement OS

Windows 11 is complete bugged garbage. From forgetting my pin to literally painful setup during installation. Literally would not let me connect my phone to the OS when initially setting up. Why bother having that prompt when it doesn't even work? The OS even forgets my pin literally every two weeks causing me to have to reset it. How is this even allowed to happen?

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MICROSOFT!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MICROSOFT!! I know this isn't going to matter. I have sat on the phone holding for 4 days each day HOURS trying to get intouch with someone who can help me log into my 365 account. It wants me to use the authenticator, but to do that I have to sign in and get a code from the authenticator. Explain to me how that is supposed to work. After day 3 I was like I want cancel my subscription but you can't without logging in. This is the wildest ish I've ever experienced. This is what happens when a company gets so much money that it's doesn't matter what happens. This company needs to go out of business. HORRIBLE!

I have been waiting since 19th December for someone from microsoft to assist with my two step authentication issue - we use Microsoft 365 Business. We have just installed a new computer system in December and although my two step authentication has not changed, a verification code which should be sent to my mobile does not come through - I have spoken to numerous customer service assistants on the 0800800004 number - in one instance it took 2 and a half hours for someone to answer me - Finally yesterday I was told that they would go ahead and accept my authentication and that all my info was indeed correct and he would pass it on to an engineer who would ring me back within 24 hours - this did not happen, next call they said they would ring me back within two hours - this has not happened, latest call, they said they will give my case the highest priority and the engineer would ring me back as soon as he has finished the case he is working on - this is just not good enough - I am an extremely frustrated customer who cannot access our company one drive

This company used to be decent.

This company used to have decent service. I had a problem back in 2022, I contacted an agent, found out my GPU was disabled, and I got it fixed. I tried to do the same thing today, in 2025, not only was I not given an answer, I was shown that articles EXIST that address my issue, but when I clicked on the article, I was redirected to their "community help" website, not the specific article! This is absolutely ridiculous! I was given an answer that didn't help from their AI agent, and when that didn't work I couldn't find a single option! AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T MAKE YOUR STUPID AI COPILOT A MANDATORY INSTALL.

Microsoft feels complacent for a…

Microsoft feels complacent for a company of this size. Office is still locked behind a paid subscription, which is hard to justify in 2025 given the alternatives. Microsoft Rewards exist, but they’re stingy and uncreative — mostly small Amazon vouchers that don’t meaningfully add value.

Security tools like Microsoft Authenticator are over-engineered but poorly designed. You can get repeated login approval prompts with no transparency, while activity logs don’t show what’s actually happening.

Copilot is the biggest letdown. I check in once a month to see if it’s improved — and it slowly does — but it’s still not good enough to justify the hype or the push to bundle it everywhere.

Microsoft isn’t terrible. It’s just stuck in “good enough” mode, which isn’t acceptable anymore.

I bought a brand new laptop several weeks ago with Win11 and haven't opened the laptop since the first night.

Windows 11 is overall the worst OS i have ever used. I have been using Microsoft since 1995, and was a loyal customer for many years. Over the years is have used Mac, and Linux on other devices but Windows was always on my main computer. I bought a new laptop 6 weeks ago with Windows 11 on it, and I haven't touched the laptop since the first night I tried it. When I get time, I am going to uninstall Windows and load Mint as my OS. I have my own business and spend a lot of time on my computer. Ive been using my Chromebook until I get the time to switch my OS. I thought Chromebook's was awful, but its a dream compared to Windows 11. I know that my review wont stop the greed of the Microsoft top brass making sure to track, upsell and force its customers to pay for other services. And they wont change the Browser from Edge, even though it's so bad that I would rather not use the internet then use Edge. But I felt like I needed to say something after 30 years of being a customer. I will never buy another Microsoft product, and I will go out of my way to avoid the company's products. Even if it were extremely convenient to use one of their products, i will inconvenience myself to use an alternative.

TRASH

Hi,

Per your instructions, I am replying directly to this email to create a written paper trail in text-only format.

I do not have saved transcripts from Xbox Support. My attempts to resolve this issue were conducted through live chat sessions and phone calls. Xbox did not provide transcripts, reference numbers, or follow-up emails for these interactions. Several chat sessions ended due to disconnections or transfers, and no written records were sent to me afterward.

Here is a chronological summary of my attempts to resolve the issue:

• I experienced multiple consecutive days where I had no access to PC Game Pass due to account/service issues on Xbox’s side.
• During this period, I contacted Xbox Support repeatedly over the course of more than a week via live chat and phone calls.
• Xbox representatives acknowledged technical or account issues but did not restore service in a timely manner.
• Despite the service outage, I was charged the full monthly PC Game Pass subscription fee.
• I did not receive a credit, refund, or written confirmation resolving the issue.

I have made repeated good-faith efforts to resolve this matter directly with Xbox. Xbox has not provided written responses, transcripts, or follow-up documentation despite these attempts.

I am seeking an appropriate credit or refund for the billing period during which I was unable to access the service I paid for.

Thank you for reviewing my case.

Sincerely,
Rajesh Shankar

TECHNICAL NIGHTMARE TO TRY AND LOG IN.…

I received an email informing me my subscription was increasing by £30 a year to £84.99!!! I only need the basic package of £19.99 so I went to log in to change it. What a NIGHTMARE....
I can't use my password, as now unrecognised. It's a TECHNICAL MINEFIELD to try and access your account. NO HUMAN SUPPORT. You get directed back to online support and promptly cut off on the phone. AI IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO HUMANITY EVER. MICROSOFT CONTROL IS PROOF OF THIS.
