This was my third transaction. I was in a hurry. It surprised me how quick and easy the whole process has become. Years ago it took me a few hours overall. Now its just minutes. And I am confident in getting a fair deal.

Great service all round, just a bit slow to receive the funds.

Midpoint offers a rapid, flexible and very professional service, at a very competitive exchange rate. Even though it says 2 working days, the money usually arrives well in advance of this deadline.

The reason for my bas review is that I have been charged an overall of 500HKD between midpoint and my bank because you are unable to perform a real clearing house like service compared to your competitors (such as transferwise).
You charge around 119HKD for a sum of 10000HKD vs. Euro.
I had to pay around 350 HKD to my bank because the transfer had to be done overseas.
This is not acceptable and this is not what it should be.
Please let me know when you have changed your way of functioning. As far as I am concerned, I am going back to transferwise as soon as they do HKD.

I had a great experience using Midpoint, this was my second transfer with them and everything was smooth and user friendly. I would definitively recommend it.

A very good experience, overall. The customer service representatives are excellent, and very helpful.

It takes, roughly, 3-5 days to complete transfers. It should be kept in mind that Midpoint does not receive SGD by a local collection. The funds have to be sent by an international transfer to a UK based account, which incurs extra costs.

Also of note, it is difficult to time transfers, so as to minimize/maximize the exchange rate. Indeed, there is substantial variability in the time taken to match funds. This can sometimes work in your favour, but, in my case, has most often worked against me.

Great exchange rate (spot rate + 0.5%), money matched very swiftly, fast and efficient transfer process... Simply does what it promises.

I have made 2 trades, one took 13 days, the other took 10 days. The trades are cheaper than other transfer companies, but they are much quicker. One of your competitors trades was completed in 12 hours. 2 or 3 days OK, but 10 to 13 days - wake up guys!

Midpoint is very easy to use, especially if you make numerous payments to the same payee. The rates appear to be competitive and the transfer charge is lower than my Bank's. It is possible that there is a better option out there but Midpoint serve me so well that I doubt it is worth the trouble to look elsewhere.

With 0.5% commission and market exchange rate why use a traditional FX company. Funds matched within hours, saved well over £100 on a £5000 transaction.

I have made a number of modest transfers to Europe over the last couple of years all trouble free and efficient.

The Midpoint team were excellent in helping me through money transfer problems due to the French Banking system and made the process seamless.

First time I've used this sort of facility rather than the bank's partner. A good exchange rate - it's a shame the fee is "on top" so that when you fill in the "You pay" box you actually have to pay that and an extra £12.50 in order for the payee to get the figure in the "Payee Receives" box. No need for them to do it, the rate - even including the fee - is good. Easy enough to set up an account, and good feedback as the transaction progressed. Took a while for the transaction to go through, but a couple of days doesn't matter too much to me.

The payment procedure was good. Fees for orders below £ 2'000 are too high. The FOREX/Transfer would have been cheaper with my usual bank.
value date for the trade (EUR/CHF) was Oct. 2, my PAYEE got the EURO after Weekend on Oct. 5, which is ok.

We first saw Midpoint advertised in a leaflet in the Spain Buying Guide, which said "Do your research first....." We then read a review in the Daily Telegraph, looked at the website and read the other Trust Pilot reviews. It was easy to register, set up our payee and as soon as we placed our order, we were emailed immediately and our order matched straight away. The follow-up emails gave us full instructions for how to transfer funds and the FAQ section on the website was also really helpful. We would absolutely recommend this company to anyone and we are surprised that many of the people we have spoken to have not heard of them? We will certainly spread the word now

I am impressed with Midpoint and usually use it for all my currency transfers, although this is not many, I am sometimes disappointed in the time between "funds received" and "funds sent". I understand the Euro currency time lines but Midpoint still appear slow taking these into account.
But this is maybe the price to pay for an excellent currency rate!

First time to use Midpoint.

Found buy/sell/payee set up a little bit fiddly compared to my regular fx co HiFX.

FAQ a must read. Support was first class with immediate and helpful replies.

Rest of process simple although it took 7 days which was no quicker (despite avoiding international payments system?).

HOWEVER, rate was transparent and the mid.point a significant improvement on HiFX (already much better than the banks).

Now all set up I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship, thanks!

Easy to set up account process, even added an extra currency for me which wasn't previously on their books, VND.

Really excellent customer service, can't fault it with a great chat function.

Only two drawbacks/suggestions, no ability to enter desired exchange rate with an order expiry date. And no customer service on weekend.

Otherwise a great money saving service!
