Waiting home all day for a passport

Waiting home all day for my passport and they never bring it. They told there was a problem so thats why they did not come on the promised/scheduled date. However, no notification about it and I waited home as if we can stay home for every day for a service we paid premium price. No information about time or day, so until they come you cannot go to work because it is your passport. Yes they came at the end, another day when I am in a meeting for an hour at the office. Amazing how then they can tell you to call the embassy and ask for refund and go get your passport there. Thanks, I could do it in the first place without being annoyed by this company and running after my money. Even if there is no other carrier other than Mikropakket, do not choose it. Just go to the embassy and take it there, you will lose less time than waiting for Mikropakket.

Avoid at all cost

This is the first time I am writing a public review because the service was truly HORRIBLE!
I have two experiences. The first time everything went fine. The second time, the diver allegedly attempted to deliver my passport twice and allegedly left a note. Both times I was at home waiting - he never rang and did not leave a note.

After much arguing with customer service they arranged for a 3. attempt where I was instructed to wait outside my house. The driver laughed in my face and said "ops - I was at the wrong house".
I communicated that this had wasted my time. He proceeded to insult me and left.

Do not use them!! It will likely be stressful, wasting your time and money. They do not handle documents such as passports with care.

Horrible customer service ..

Horrible customer service ... nobody is picking up the phone after about one hour of waiting ...

Trying to send a document via Mikropakket antwoornr 6040?
US consulate gave you a bar code to do this for free?
Be aware: this does not (ever) work!
Mikropakket has a special part of their menu (030-2209011) dedicated to "Your barcode to 6040 does not work". It recommends paying for registered mail by yourself. Seems that is the only way to get things to the consulate. Update: the PostNL desk employee entered Antwoordnummer 6040 manually and that got us a free stamp addressed to Mikropakket's new address in Nieuwegein. Hopefully that works.

Interestingly, Mikropakket is part of PostNL: postnl.nl zakelijke-oplossingen logistieke-oplossingen extra-veilig-transport. Goed verdienmodel, dat afgeven van ongeldige barcodes!

Worst delivery company in the NL.

This is definatelly the worst delivery company in the Netherlands.

On the scheduled day of delivered, they simply didn't show up. In the begining of the day, the delivery was schedule in the morning, and along the day, the delivery time was just changing to later in the day.

On the next day, no one showed up. No bell ring, no calls, nothing.

Now, my package needs to be collected 3 hours away from my address.

This is the WORST delivery company in the entire company.

No major issues using their services

I have read almost only bad reviews about this company and was hesitant to use their services to be honest. However, this is the company used by the American Embassy in Amsterdam to send in your papers for visa processing so I took my chances. Everything went well on both occasions I used them. I would recommend sending your parcel by registered post to guarantee receipt by Micropakket though. For me 4 stars instead of 5 as I contacted them by phone first before sending them the documents and the person who answered was not very professional. He answered the call without saying the company name and interrupted me without listening to the purpose of my call. I had to reprimand him and thereafter he responded in a more professional manner. Customer service skills on the phone could be improved upon.

This is a really bad business

This is a really bad business. The delivery person can't find the address and doesn't bother to call. Customer service only says 'oh there is nothing we can do.' If you don't want your passport to disappear, don't use its service!

Extremely bad service

Extremely bad service.
I have to use them to send my watch for repair. This needs 3 appointments! First - to receive a package in which I will send the watch, second- to send the watch, and the third- to receive it back when it's fixed. The worst part is that you can't make an exact time appointment. You have a window between 8am and 12 pm, and you can't make them pick up the package at a pickup point. You have to stay at home just for this!!!
With the first appointment, the driver was 3(!!!) hours late. With the second, I managed to receive my package.
For the second appointment, I arranged a pickup at the reception desk of my work. Today I found out that they didn't pick my package up.
Now I tried to call to make a new pickup appointment, but nobody picks up the phone.
Extremely annoying service, I'm very unhappy with it.

"Not home" notification while I was…

"Not home" notification while I was home all day. I also have a video doorbell which registers who rings and when and guess what? Nobody rang the bell the entire day.

Website hardly gives me any information on this package too... Honestly I'm not expecting anything

I can't even begin to understand...

I can't even begin to understand why this company doesn't have a 0/1 star rating on each and every review website.

Like everybody, I've had my share of bad experiences with couriers. This one trumps them all.

Lying drivers, a sham Track&Trace (seriously, I think only half of the application was developed), no real online/self-service customer service and phone support that is only available for about 27 minutes a day (and -of course- not during weekends).

Supposedly, this should be a service for high-value items but I wouldn't trust them to deliver a packet of toothpicks. Seriously, look somewhere else because this company will only cause you and your customers temper tantrums.

The prire delivery company we can find.

The worst delivery company you can find.
An exclusively Dutch website (even in French)
An apointment where you can stand-up all the day for a package that never come.
No customer service on Saturdays
Tracing does not work
They come twice before without any appointment, they do not drop off the packages.

This is the WORST delivery company I have ever seen, i am angry like never againt this company.

What a lost of time

3 failed attempts to deliver while we were home. Lying.

3 attempts to deliver - for 2 of them the driver never showed up while someone definitely being home (the first one I can't prove was the same, I've never seen any note from the driver about us not being home in my mailbox). No messages left. The company keeps insisting that the driver did come and no one was home. Total incompetency of either flawed operations which they blame on the customers or their inability to take responsibility for the drivers who don't do the job and lie to the company. Avoid using them.

An unreliable post delivery company

This is by far the worst delivery service I have ever encountered.
My passport which was dispatched by the US consulate in Amsterdam, was supposed to be delivered between 8 am and 12 pm. Mikropakket has so far changed the timeslots 7 times, each time pushing the timeslots to a later time.

I called them to enquire and was spoken to by an unfriendly agent, who couldn’t give a reasonable explanation behind the constant change of the time slots, other than “the route has suddenly changed”, that the “the timeslots is only an indication” and that no rights can be derived from the timeslots given. The latter is the a serious concern: if you can’t rely on or can’t derive any rights from promises given by a delivery company, what is it that you can rely on?

I had to plan my day around this delivery around the very given timeslot, but I feel I can’t take their time indications seriously any more. I find them to be quite unreliable, especially because it relates to such an important document such as one’s passport.
I’d certainly give them a miss the next time, whether it’s for valuable documents or something as simple as a letter or a card.

Terrible

I spend several days waiting at home after having an appointment, the tracking doesn't allow seeing even which part of the day is the courier coming. And he is not coming at the day of the appointment, so "probably he is going to come the next day", according to the phone support line
