Made mistake and were great about correcting it
I ordered a chair mat for my study and I was sent the wrong one due to an error on the description on the website. I contacted Milan Direct to inform them and they were fantastic about it returning product and providing me with store credit, actually a bit more than I had paid.

Beware if the product is faulty
ACCC need to look into Milan Direct. The chair I purchased was very squeaky beyond belief. Beware of the small print. You can't return goods under $100 (even when the product is faulty). When pushed, they finally agreed to take the product back but they charged me two lots of shipping to punish me - so I spent $103, and got $66 back! The description on their site rated it as a "perfect chair for those who spend hours sitting at the computer, due to the multi functions and ergonomic design of the chair." This was far from the truth. It was extremely uncomfortable and did not provide enough lumbar support. You cannot talk to a human - the phone number doesn't work when you call it. Email only customer service and the email replies are scripted and even if you push hard enough protocol will mean you will lose out. Do not purchase from them if you want to risk falsely advertised products and losing money to return products.
Haven't got my table yet
I bought a hall table from Milan Direct in early November. I have paid over $1000, so far the table hasn't shown up even the site said 7 day delivery was the norm within Australia. I did not notice the email that came back to me asking me to check my bank balance for a refund as further proof of my identity until two weeks after I had made the purchase so obviously that has caused some delay but what if I have never noticed the email? I get a lot of emails.
I'm not saying there's been friction. I received an email as soon as I responded to the identity check and now I presume the table is on its way..hopefully.

Terrible delivery service
We had an outdoor setting delivered by Australia Post. No communication as to when it would be delivered or when would be a good time for us. Aust Post left a card for us to pick up a parcel. It took 5 trips for 7 boxes. Appalling service. Milan direct were very slow to respond. Would be hesitant to order again unless they change their delivery method.
Quality products, great price and customer service
I purchased 2 x armchairs and a coffee table from Milan Direct. The quality was fantastic and very secure freight.
I wanted to change the coffee table type after placing my order and after emailing customer service I received a prompt reply and given instructions on how to do so.

Not happy
Ordered bookcases due for delivery by end of November - now find not available until end of December. Doesn't help my business get ready for Christmas. Considering cancelling the order and getting elsewhere. Just waiting on stock confirmation from another company. Won't be using Milan Direct again.
