No feedback about delivery of item or notification that item has been sent

I ordered one bed, two bedsides and one chair about one month ago I have one bed that arrive ls before my email telling me it's on it's way so it was left on my door step for two nights as I was away with work. No idea where the bedsides are....no email stating a delay so still waiting I have an email telling me my chair will dispatch on the 18th ...

Poor assembly instructions

I actually received excellent customer service when the item I originally ordered would not be in stock for a couple of months. The company contacted me and arranged a credit note and a swap with another item, which arrived promptly. The reason I have not given a higher score, is that the assembly instructions were very, very unclear. I have not been able to complete assembly of the item, and a handyman friend could not either. When I contacted the firm just to let them know how inadequate the assembly instructions were, I was promptly emailed a more detailed set, unfortunately this was for the item I originally purchased, and not the one I ended up buying. So, their customer service is fabulous, but the included assembly instructions were definitely not.

Poor service, damaged item. No recompense as yet.

Poor communication. No updates regarding shipping of item. Not able to contact via phone as the recorded system Appears designed to prevent you talking to anyone in person. Package arrived well after the date promised on website with no explanation or apology. When it did arrive we opened it to find three of the panels damaged. Photos taken and sent to support. Still waiting to hear what company is prepared to do. They have my money - including an extra freight insurance payment. I am almost $200 out of pocket and with only shonky furniture to show for it.

No communication, missing shipment

Very poor experience. Called the customer service line for days, always plays a recording and just directs us to email the service desk. Can't speak to anyone on the phone.

Emails to service desk goes unanswered for more than 3 days, although in the automatic replies they mentioned they will get back within 3 days.

Impossible to contact anybody during the first 4 days of orders being placed.

Shipment was misplaced, they can't identify where the shipment is even though they sent me a consignment number and logistics provider.

Still waiting for backorder of the product to be delivered.

Amazeballs

Service and product from Milan Direct is truly amazeballs!! I have been buying on and off through out the year and have been impressed with the attentive customer service, good delivery and quality products that I have received. Prices are great too!

My first time being ripped off!

I've done a lot of internet shopping over the last 15 years or so. Unfortunately, I think I have just been ripped off for the first time.
Paid the money, but no product and don't answer their phone. Buy somewhere else and save yourself the angst.

Love my furniture!

For the first time I bought furniture online without looking at it in person, and I wasn't disappointed. The quality is fantastic, they look great and it took under a week to receive my delivery. Good price and immediate availability but delivery agent lacking

I ordered two reproduction chairs which, from web search, Milan Direct offered at a competitive price and had in stock. They were dispatched promptly, but then things got more difficult as their delivery contractor Allied Express then used an agent for actual delivery to outer metropolitan Melbourne. Once the chairs were passed to this unidentified agent, the consignment's tracking status was no longer updated online and the expected delivery failed to appear as forecast, for several days. Organising someone to be on hand to receive the goods became an issue, and it eventually arrived unannounced when no-one was present. Wooden pallet and framed packaging were then left for household disposal - while cardboard boxing and padding would be anticipated for lightweight domestic furniture delivery, full wood pallets and box frames seems onerous.

In stock should mean in stock..

I purchased coffee tables recently (first time with Milan Direct), on the 11th Nov, and they were in stock according to the website. An email was received approx. a week later advising they were infact not in stock, with shipment expected mid Dec. It took 2 email requests to confirm that on this basis a refund was sought. The credit was processed late due to a backlog and finally received on the 1st Dec! Very frustrating and an ordinary shopping experience had.
