Due to the weather forecast… had to purchase a couple of emergency rain ponchos for Winchester Foodies Festival. Maiya took me straight to them and I was sorted… so glad I did.. we stayed dry all day.

I went in close to the end of the day however I was allowed to try on a pair of trousers which I bought and Summer the assistant was so friendly, courteous and helpful. No rushing, being pushy or her wanting yo go home. However the Manager wasn't friendly or helpful, obviously on a private phone call. A* Summer.

Went shoe shopping. Assistant was Summer. Very helpful. Have 28 days to try the shoes and even if I don't keep them, she pointed me in the direction of where I may be able to find what I need.

Good service
Went in and the sales team were helpful and checked stock upstairs which they had what I was looking for. Bought afew other bits. Price matched the website offers and discount codes. Not 5/5 as I wanted a rucksack cover that they didn't have in stock.

Purchase of walking shoes
I purchased a pair of walking shoes. Martin was very helpful advising me on products suited to my need eg waterproof, broad fit. He told me about added value eg Berghaus after sales service, also pointing out products that were particularly good value. He was helpful but never pushy. I tried on several pairs and found the perfect shoes for me. We will be going back to this store. Very impressed.

We brought a coat on line but it was too small, we were told we could take it back to milletts.i phoned up milletts and spoke to stouthearted man called Martin. He could not get the larger coat but had others there and we went away very happy with the new coat
