3 weeks!!

I had to wait 3 weeks for my order, i emailed them and thay said thay had no stock, thay shouldn't be selling things if thay have no stock to for fill there orders.....
I normally buy from cottage toys but the toy i wanted was out of stock, so i decided to order from mimibear as iv never ordered from there before i thought i might be ok! I think I'll just stick to cotton toys at least i no I'll get my orders on time...

Awful customer service

AVOID! the customer service is awful I placed an order 3 weeks ago expecting it to come within a week as it was a birthday gift. I emailed and asked for an update and was told the item I ordered was out of stock and waiting on there supplier to get more in with was never disclosed when I ordered the item in the first place. I asked if they could cancel the order as I would no longer need it and was send a blunt message back telling me no and I would just have to send it back once it had been delivered to me with I would have to pay for the return out of my own pocket for a inconvenience they have made to me. Also said they would ship with Royal Mail 2nd class withI was happy with as I really struggle with mail being delivered because my house is hard to find but instead shipped with DPD. No apology or anything was given don’t waste your money on this awful company

Perfect every time!

The first time I ordered from them was around Xmas time and the product still arrived in plenty of time. Everyone asked about this amazing mat so much so that 3 of my different mum friends ordered the same one! The second order came today and again quicker than expected with it being personalised, plus the quality is just sooo perfect every time! Can’t wait to order again xx

DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR MONEY!!! This company has THE worst, most nonchalant attitude to customer service I’ve EVER experienced. I purchased an item (not a cheap item either) from them over 2 months ago for my god daughter. At the time there was no mention of a delayed delivery time. After a few weeks I started to get impatient so emailed them. Didn’t get a reply at first then by the time I did it was to say that my item was a pre order. Went back online and sure enough they’d updated the website to back up this email. IT WAS NOT A PRE ORDER WHEN I BOUGHT AND PAID FOR IT. It’s now over 2 months since giving them my money. I’ve explained the urgency and been fobbed off repeatedly with not one solid date given to me to when the item will arrive. Mid June is the most they’ve been bothered to say and now that’s been and past. I’m convinced the company is run by someone who has the attitude that your money is in fact their money and once you’ve paid it it’s tough luck. I’m going to contact trading standards and if needs be launch a small claim against them. Their behaviour is outrageous and borderline criminal. THEY HAVE ALSO NOW TRIED TO FLAG THIS REVIEW and then lamely threatened me with legal action if I didn’t take it down. That says all you need to know about them!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

I have ordered twice from Mimibear and…

I have ordered twice from Mimibear and they have excellent customer service and are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. My orders have arrived in excellent condition and in a timely manner and I live in Texas! I have ordered from their recent Miffy collection with Little Dutch; Miffy vintage floral mobile, car seat toys, play mat, and rattle! I will definitely be ordering from them again! :)

Bad customer service

I placed an order for 3 items, I then had to wait 3 weeks for delivery and when my delivery arrived only 2 of the items arrived and one said refunded, when I checked my bank account no refund was there. Would of appreciated an email before the parcels where dispatched to inform me that the item was unavailable so I had an option to cancel the whole order as the other items matched the swimsuit and without the swimsuit I don’t really want the matching items. Very poor customer service and I will not be ordering with this company again.

Long delivery time and no updates to to say it was out of stock

Ordered a lunch box for my daughter then only after ordering does it then say that the delivery time can be anywhere between two and SIX weeks. That is a ridiculous amount of time to deliver an item. Delivery time should be stated at checkout before orders are placed to enable people to make an enforced decision on whether they can wait that long.

Anyway, about 8 days in, I finally had a notification to say it had been dispatched and it was on its way. 3 weeks after ordering, still nothing had arrived. I emailed them on the weekend and they answered on the Monday afternoon stating that the supplier hadn’t notified them that the lunch box was out of stock. I’m sorry but as a business they should be tracking orders and they should have chased this up with their supplier much sooner than this. They then said that the lunch boxes arrived damaged and then they were out of stock. This would have been fair enough, had they actually checked the status of my order and contacted the supplier sooner. I also questioned why it had been marked as dispatched when it was never even in stock. Seems very u professional to me. I waited 3 weeks for a lunch box when they could have contacted me and I would have understood their situation and ordered elsewhere. They seemed to pin it all on the supplier, however they handled the situation totally wrong.

Ended up having a refund 3 weeks and 3 days after ordering and now how to order another lunch box and wait even longer until it arrived.

I would not recommend, or at least regularly chase up your orders as they don’t appear to be keeping track of them as they should. Also be prepared to wait up to 6 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous time.

Reluctantly leaving this review as there's clearly good intentions behind the company but unfortunately the commitment to service isn't there.

I initially chased the order just over a week after placing it not knowing that a lot of mimibears products can take anywhere between 2-4weeks (worth considering if you need anything quickly).

I was then told the 2-4 week lead time which I patiently watched creep around. Eventually having hit the 4 week mark I emailed the team, 2 days later I emailed again and finally got a response.

The response was that there hadn't been an update on the order shipment and they'd raise the order again...another 2-4 week lead time.

I have concerns around their slow responses, lack of care taken to facilitate the goods they provide and length of time they take in a world where we can get same day delivery, not that I'd ever expect that but, two months is ridiculous.

All in all, beautiful products, clearly well meaning. But failed to provide an adequate service. I've requested my order be cancelled.

**The team at mimibear have quickly responded to my email and this review and have been apologetic and as a good will gesture are providing my order along with a refund.

Although I mentioned that the speed of response was poor I can't agree with the people who have said the customer service are rude. They have been polite every single time and have also held up their hands and accepted fault.

On reflection I've updated my review to be more favourable.

This is our 4th order from mimi bear and we love everything about it. This is our go to online store for our baby girl even buying gifts for others. Products you don’t find on the high street that are on trend, amazing quality and reasonable prices! Couldn’t recommend enough, delivery is always fast too!

We ordered a beautiful changing basket for our new arrival. The parcel arrived well packaged and secure and the product itself was great.
The website stocked so many great products and it had a huge selection of different items to suit everyone.
We have ordered from here a few times and would always recommend.

Beautiful products

Ordered a velvet ball pit and playmat set - it’s beautiful and the playmat is exceptional quality! I would recommend one for all new mums
Delivery was much quicker than originally stated online which was brilliant
The ball pit itself is slightly misshaped from delivery but I’m sure we can sort it out - not a big deal!
