Mirillis action is one of, if not the BEST streaming/recording platform currently on the market to date. Its new UI overhaul and MUCH improved features makes Action so simple and stress free to use and the video quality is top notch, If you have a GPU that can also use x265 encoding then Mirillis Action is the best place to be.

Excellent program

I have used it in several situations, both video games and jobs as an engineer.
It is a program easy to use and understand, in addition to any problem they have shown me that they can solve it, because a few days ago they solved mine.

At the moment I can not think of any improvement that could be added, because for the use that I give to the program, it's fine

I’ve used this program about 4-5 years ago. Back then I had a really weak computer but this was the only recording software, compared to fraps or bandicam, that did not eat up performance and still recorded in high quality. They also have amazing customer service. I haven’t used this program for a while and soon decided to go back to recording. But I couldn’t find my Serial key. They were very patient and understanding and ultimately gave me a great solution.

These guys give FREE lifetime update/upgrade -- totally unheard of!! I bought a version three years ago and wanted to upgrade to the latest version so I contacted customer support (Joanna) on how to purchase a new license and promptly had a reply in my inbox - next day as I am on the other side of the world. Nevertheless I was completely surprised that I did not have to pay not a dime to get their latest version - just downloaded and used my original licence and like magic I had the most recent version as if I had just bought the software... !!

Incredible and wonderful. I can't say enough on how great this product has been with no conflicts or issues whatsoever, which is why I even investigated and was willing to pay a discounted amount for the new version.... This tool is top shelf - and #1 !

I highly recommend you get the best capture tool around - not to mention their support is way above the rest! Big thanks and I will be back and upgrading to the next major version in a couple of years and for FREE!!!

Mirills have a very fast support

Mirillis Action! Screen Recorder is the best software to record everything on your pc, from gameplay to screen, with the best quality I've seen on a recording software. The interface is great, simple and beautiful to watch. I got it for the full price at 25€, it's totally worth it, but they usually do discounts and you can get it for only 13€!

Mirillis Action Screen Recorder is a excellent choice for those who wish to capture gameplay and give their viewers the ultimate viewing experience or just for those who simply like to capture their desktop for projects etc. The amount of features Mirillis offers outweighs it competitors by far and its easy interface makes it simple for any newcomer to pick up. Mirillis also is light on system resources so you do not have to have a top of the line computer to acheive excellent results which is a big plus. I would highly recommend Mirillis Action Screen Recorder

I always want the best tools (Sparckman)
Yo guys sparckman here, I'm a youtuber. I do gaming and game development tutorials. I upload more than once a day, so I don't have time to be re-coding video or messing around with free recorders.

I searched around for a better recorder but these guys have a monopoly on screen capture recorders for both gaming and screen capture. I don't believe products you have to mess around with the settings in order to use them.

Action recorder, push the record button and your recording at 60, 120 FPS no problem. If you check out my videos, you can see that there is almost 0 quality lost when you upload to you from Action recorder, I've uploaded about 2,400 videos to youtube using Action. No complains so far.

Trust me I tried everything out there, they either slow down your computer, they're hard to use or they just give poor quality. There is some good stuff out there but as I said action recorder has a monopoly on quality at the moment.

Amazing product that works perfectly without any flaws.

I have 9-years-old PC with minor updates made over the years (the last one – nVidia GTX 660 card). So, it was a kind of difficult task to find appropriate software for recording of gameplay (mostly of old games and stuff) without significant lag and overload of the system. I have tested several packages offering video recording jobs but always having some in-game lag and sluggishness (20-25 FPS), especially when starting and stopping the recordings (up to 10 seconds between the key actuation and the actual effect). I have tested ShadowPlay software which even refused to start recording for no obvious reason (on paper, I satisfied all the requirements). So, I have decided to give a try of Action! according to recommendation of a friend :). I am really impressed by the software. Clean yet stylish and easy to understand/use interface – subdivided to categories depending on what the user (in this case - me) would like to do. I have started the recording less than a 3 minutes after installation of Action! and everything happens smoothly without too extensive HDD crunching and whining of the CPU and GPU fans. No lagging on start or stop of the recording – immediate actuation. The quality of the output videos and the ability to control it (depending on the purpose) were exceptionally good – at least for my humble needs. From time to time I perform a screen recording stuff – very useful feature to describe specific “in-trouble” situations where the words and screenshots are not sufficient to describe the problem. More or less – Action! shines in this department too, especially the drawing tools which are just enough to do the job without redundant functionality. All in all – all the recording stuffs I need in one lightweight package… And much more to come, I hope. I really like the software that is in a stage of active development (in the positive way), so Action! does not disappoints me in this field too.
I would like to mention some Cons too which are not deal-breakers, or at least for me, but still:
1. I did not found an option to record the video stream separately from the audio stream (1 MP4/AVI+ 1 audio file). This option could be useful for the more “Pro”-orientated users/gamers which would like to edit their output audio quality, volume and so on.
2. The bitrate control (MP4 supported) is represented in % only, but not in data units (Kbs, Mbs). This makes the setting of this parameter try&error-exercise because the excess bitrate adds to the size of the output file without affecting the quality of the output significantly (case sensitive matter).

Worth to mention that Action! is packed up with many other features (youtube, twitch etc. streaming/game-ready features; in-app video playback & preview options; watermarcking & background set-ups and so on). Above, I described/commented only the features I use on a regular basis. Considering my current impressions of Action! (v3.5.4), I will post an update of the current thoughts, when I test/decide to use the other candies (I really hope the definition to be correct) offered by this software :).

I was looking for a software to record me playing video games and came across this great software.

Mirillis Action! is not only great software, it is also very affordable and the purchase entitles us with lifetime updates.

That's how I was able to upgrade Action! 2 to Action! 3 with its novelties.

Thanks to Mirillis Action !, you can record yourself playing games, add subtitles and other effects to your videos, you can even replace Mirillis logo with own one to look more professional. Not to mention that there is a new webcam feature that removes the background. In order word, people can see you without the scenery behind you. That's really cool.

This software is very complete and at this price (less than $30), it would be a shame to deprive yourself from buying it.

Personally, I use it with Filmorama and GoPlay. But be aware that this software is self-sufficient and you will not need any third party software to make it work. You will not miss anything because it is a very complete program.

To convince you, do not hesitate to watch the YouTube videos of this software and you will understand how exceptional it is.
