They are cheaters!
Inshallah, this will happen to you! What goes around, comes around. You owe me $975 via small claims and you do not bother to pay.
These people are thieves
These people are thieves. They have refused to pay me since June 2025. They've even stopped replying to my emails. They owe me over $1,500.
Fraudulent C-level team
My experience was overwhelmingly negative, despite a few good people on the team. Hayder al Ani and Hawazen al Ani repeatedly failed to pay contractors, freelancers, and employees, relying on endless excuses such as delayed payments, funding issues, or pending investments. This was a consistent pattern, not an isolated incident, and communication deteriorated whenever accountability was required. There were clear signs of financial mismanagement and an unwillingness to take responsibility. I strongly advise anyone considering working with them to stay away — the risk of not being paid is very real.
Mission Connect- does not pay its freelancers
Mission Connect, as they call themselved since this year, stopped paying me in September again. When they stopped paying April, they claimed it was a software problem, then it was the bank not being able to transfer to my account, then it was an internal hold-up. When I threatened them to talk to their clients, they paid. Now they stopped paying again .... told me there is a problem and keep quiet since. I found out that they regularly have their company liquidated and then start anew with a new firm. Just do not touch them! They still owe me more than 1 000 Euros
Unprofessional, Unresponsive, Owes Me €1,400
My experience has been absolutely dreadful, and they still owe me €1,400 for fully delivered work. Work done on time, to spec, and in good faith.
Here’s what happened:
I completed the agreed work and submitted everything, exactly as requested.
They acknowledged receipt of invoices, promised payment by certain dates.
As each payment deadline passed, I followed up again. More promises. More new dates.
Then the excuses stopped. Communication dropped off completely.
Emails go unanswered. Dead silence.
I’ve been patient, professional, and persistent.
This isn’t just a delay. It’s a breach of trust, a failure to honor contractual obligations, and dishonest business behaviour. I feel used. I feel ignored. And the company’s actions suggest they believe they can walk away without ever paying what’s owed.
If you are a freelancer, contractor, translator, or anyone thinking about doing business with them:
Be very cautious.
Don’t assume they will pay on time, or at all.
Don’t let them use “bureaucratic delays” or “internal processing” as cover for doing nothing.
I hope I get my money back. I hope they learn to treat people with respect and integrity. But others? Learn from my experience: avoid them!
Non-paying company
To all freelancers considering working for this company: avoid like the plague, they do not pay.
I completed many remote simultaneous interpreting (sim trans) assignments for them over the past 3 years. While the work was appealing and the rate of pay decent, their payment practices have been terrible from the start, i.e. they never paid my invoices within the agreed time period and typically around 3 months late following countless emails.
When rebranding to Mission Connect, they assured me this would change. Well, it changed for the worse. They kept making promises to "schedule a payment" by the end of a particular month, making various excuses and asking for patience, only to delay further and further. Now they owe me nearly £1600, some of it for work done back in March, and have stopped responding to my emails.
I know that end clients have been happy with my services and asking specifically that projects be assigned to me but even that is not sufficient motivation for Mission Connect to pay me.
Never work for them!Bunch of liars
They repeatedly place their businesses into liquidation, leaving people unable to recover their money. Despite my valid small claims judgment against them, they have refused to pay me.
I am extremely frustrated and deeply upset by their dishonest behavior. It is appalling to see a company treat people this way, and I would strongly warn anyone against engaging with them.
Inshallah, this will happen to you! What goes around, comes around and I usually have a good mouth for this. You owe me £500 via small claims and you did not bother to pay.
This company doesn't pay.
Mission Connect - Non Payers!!!!
Non Payers!!!! They do not care at all!
FREELANCERS BEWARE
FREELANCERS BEWARE
Working with Mission Connect/ Mission Translate/ Esense and all the other names they go by has been one of the most frustrating professional experiences of my career.
I raised an invoice to them in March 2025 for £1,000, for work which was delivered in full and on time. They've acknowledged the invoice, promised a payment timeline, and then quietly let that deadline pass. You need to keep chasing them only to get more timelines of "the date they will let you know when they can let you know". Now they have completely stopped responding to emails.
Mission Connect/ Translate treats freelancers as disposable and obligations as optional. If you value your time, your work, and your peace of mind, avoid them entirely.
Do not work with this company!
This agency owes me $630 for work delivered 7 months ago. I worked with them for several years, and now it seems they are running a scam, withholding payment from freelancers.
They initially sent apologetic messages, saying how much they valued me and my work over the years — often working around the clock to deliver urgent, high-quality transcripts, never receiving a single negative comment from clients, and even being called in to save client relationships when other translators’ work fell short. Now, they simply ignore my messages.
Freelancers and clients, be aware: this is how this agency treats the people they claim to value.
Avoid this company at all costs.

I completed freelance work for them in 2024 and am still owed €1,980 after they restructured from Mission Translate Ltd (which went into liquidation) to Mission Connect. They stopped responding to my communications two months ago, and I’m now left with a significant loss.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid working with this business. Those involved in its management have a track record of unpaid freelancers and unresponsiveness.
Avoid it!!!
After a year still no payment and I am sure I'll never get my money, above 1000 Euro. Shameless!
They do not pay their accounts
They don't pay for the work you do
The same excuses are being made now. Same emails saying the same thing, we are working hard to resolve this situation...
Beware of this company, it doesn't pay. Customers, take this into consideration..
4 months gone payment is still pending.
I rendered my services over 4 months ago. Payment is still pending. This agency, Mission Connect, is utterly unprofessional. I especially asked that I will only work if payment can be made by next month. They said, OK.They make communication through several people and end up not communicating when it comes to payment. No one picks up the phone. Their generic reply, "We are trying our best to resolve this matter as soon as possible," WHAT A JOKE!!
Extremely disappointing experience
I worked with this agency for five years. While payments were often delayed, they were eventually made — until recently. The last payment I received was in September 2024. Since then, nothing.
I’ve sent countless emails, contacted project managers, finance staff, even their CFO — and reached out via social media. All I got were vague responses or no replies at all.
They no longer pay for completed work and ignore all communication. What once was a functioning agency now feels like a complete scam.
I strongly advise against working with this company!
PAY WHAT YOU OWE!
PAY WHAT YOU OWE!! At least communicate and send explanations regarding delays.
So far one of the worst agencies I have worked with, after 35+ years doing this job!!
Late payments or no payments at all
They don’t pay and expect very fast deliveries even on projects follow up. Terrible company.
