Amazing food, service and company. Couldn’t recommend any higher!

I phoned to order the meals required. On the phone I was given recommendations for the type of meal I required. Also given help with the accompaniment that would be best served with the meal. The 6 meals were delivered at the time given in the email. The meals were frozen, there was no thawing.
Five people had the meals and all enjoyed them.The meals were well presented, and enough spice to be acceptable, they were adequate portions. Thank you for a lovely meal with no washing up!!
I would recommend that the dishes are made of stronger material.

The meals were delivered exactly when promised and were very well packed in environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging.

The meals themselves are of excellent quality and are delicious and the portion sizes are good, the doubles really are enough for two people!

We'll definitely be ordering again and look forward to trying some of the other recipes

I am not a vegan but decided to try a couple of the meals and I am now hooked on the Gardeners Pie.

It is so tasty and low in calories and makes an excellent meal. I sometimes add baked beans or fresh veg but it is a very filling meal on its own.

I should imagine this meal is a godsend for a vegan

Great service. Website was clear and easy to use. Delivery quick and the regular updates were ideal. I’ve not got around to trying all the meals just yet but the rainbow sushi bowl and sun kissed pasta taste great. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Awesome options, tasty, delivered quick. What’s not to like? For a busy professional like me it’s great to have 400-500 calorie meals sitting in the work freezer.

As a long time vegan with a busy life I have ordered from several companies for comparison.

I can’t but wonder if anyone actually tasted these meals before marketing them.
I ordered one of each and am now about half way through. I have eaten one meal five have ended up in the bin unfinished or uneaten 🤮

This comes from a trained chef: overuse of dried herbs so that’s the only thing you taste and made the gardeners pie indistinguishable from the Buckwheat jambalaya exactly the same taste but for the textures.
The sun kissed pasta gloopy thick sauce was almost as chewy as the dehydrated sun dried tomatoes (watch if you have a crown while trying to chew through a piece)

The rainbow sushi was reasonable. The flavour the tofu was awesome and well cooked with a perfect blend of spices. The rest bland and boring. This is the only dish I actually ate.

The Moroccan tagine again over flavoured so the spices are all you can taste. Unfortunately it doesn’t taste very Moroccan. Half the spices could be removed and then you might be taste anything other than them. The balance of spices is out as well. the cinnamon for example didn’t come through at all because it’s is overpowered by the addition of way too much cumin. It’s not easy to mask cinnamon as a flavouring.

The cumin is then overpowered by the flavour of the celery. (Do you see a pattern here folks?) Now I’ve personally never had a tagine here or in Morocco that had celery in it and that’s probably because it just doesn’t work as a flavour with the rest of the ingredients.

The tagine was the most disappointing as the ingredient list is almost textbook apart that celery. The ratios are just wrong. All of the key components are there and good quality and well cooked. Other dishes had well cooked pasta, quinoa and rice for example.

There are some really good ingredients here guys it’s just what you’ve done with them. If you have any sense revise your recipes before it’s too late.

Most of what I cooked I couldn't stomach beyond half way. Pasta is my favourite food but I couldn’t get past two forkfuls.
I put the remains in my dogs bowls (2 37kg rescued shepherds that didn’t eat it either.

These are foods they would normally wolf down but no alas even my dogs wouldn’t eat.it.

I am self confessed ‘foodie’ and a trained chef.
I love food and I particularly like simple foods with great flavours, like home cooking from all over the world. I’ve lived abroad and traveled allot so explored countries by food. You could ask me a question about any major city and I can probably recommend somewhere to eat.

DON’T DO IT! Head to allplants where you won’t be disappointed or out of pocket.

It was really easy to order the meals on the website. I like the way the menu options were clearly described and so I was able to chose items which I knew i would like. The food arrived exactly on time and very well packaged. It was a real pleasure to unpack my order which was clearly packaged with great care. Have tried the first meal and it was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to trying the other meals. Thank you

This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered from Mitch’s kitchen. I found the first lot of meals tasty, convenient and guilt free! I have a busy job so it is handy to have a healthy meal ready if I don’t have time to cook what if planned for that evening.

Delicious food from a wide choice. Delivered promptly with excellent packaging. Clear instructions given for preparation. Good portion sizes.

Really delicious meals. I’m not a Vegan but like having natural, healthy options in the freezer and these are perfect. Ordering and delivery service is excellent and extremely friendly customer service. Highly recommended.

We had our first delivery last week and we were so impressed with the fact that the meals are: vegan, gluten free, nutritious, super easy, fully recyclable and delicious, we decided we needed more freezer space to store more!

It’s so good to have a ready meal and not feel guilty about it being full of junk and covered in plastic!

The 🌈 Rainbow Sushi is our joint favourite, closely followed by the Spanish Tapas...but we are yet to try all the dishes so that may well change after our next order!

So great to see a couple so passionate about what they do too. Would highly recommend!

I love these meals! It’s great to have a ‘ready meal’ that you don’t have to feel guilty about as they are healthy and tasty. I often get home later than expected and don’t always have the time to cook what I had planned so having these as a back up is so handy. I would recommend to anyone (and in fact I have already recommended to my friends).

I must say the food is really good! Though personally I add a fair bit of salt and pepper, that is my personal taste and with it, the food is amazing and mainly low in calories which is even better! I hope they bring out more recipes! The main reason I bought them was because of the recyclable/waste free element and it didn’t dissapoint! I would give the food a 5 stars 100%!

However, the main reason I have given you guys a 4 is your Instagram – specifically your stories. Whilst I appreciate the transparency of seeing who cooks the food for Mitch’s Kitchen and it is great to see who you are supporting, I mainly wanted to address a few that I have noticed that I would prefer to see on your personal account. For example, backflips, mosh pits, haircuts and lip syncs.

Though I personally do not have a problem with these, I would just like to offer some constructive criticism from a professional perspective. Please keep talking to us and updating us about all of the cool things you are doing like talks, new retailers and evenings at restaurants! But I do think it would be best to keep the singing and backflips to your personal account. People who follow your business account follow you for the food (well I definitely do anyway)! It would be great to see you do more videos about the food you produce, perhaps tutorials – maybe start a Youtube channel? I would almost definitely subscribe and you can monetise from it once you have 1k subscribers!

I only say this as I genuinely want to see Mitch’s Kitchen Flourish. Please do not take this personally, it is not attack on your character, but an idea that I think would help your brand exude professionalism and cohesion.
