I have been using mobirise for several years now. Its applications are numerous. You can create websites in just a few minutes using the drag n drop method from pre-configured blocks. You can then edit these blocks as easily as writing in a text editor. Existing themes are updated very often, while new ones are added every few days. This gives the creator great variety and the end user a beautiful result. Exporting the site is simple and fast. There are also many extensions such as "shopping cart", "social feed", and more. Mobirise technology is based on bootstrap, so the exported website runs at incredibly fast speeds. A big advantage is that the site is responsive (which is done automatically, but the creator can also configure it), so the end user enjoys the browsing experience. There are tools like form editor, pda builder, html editor and others that gives the creator extra ease. Even the large community on the mobirise forum provides solutions to various questions that the creator may have, no matter how beginner or advanced he is.

I have been using Mobirise for past 3 years & it's a great tool in helping to grow my freelance job. I am basically a Graphic Designer, not trained to build websites, not learned coding. Their mail form are easy to set up, along with other items that can easily link with 3rd party apps including Google Maps, shopping carts, icons, gallery images, social media icons.

The best part about Mobirise is that is it all self-contained. When using the Themes and blocks of Mobirise you don't have to worry about somebody elses plug-in that has not been updated or is not supported and breaks your website down the road with no way of repairing it. Mobirise is solid software.

Why 4 stars? Because the program is fantastic, it has a very low learning curve for newbies, it doesn't disdain the possibility of intervening at the html and css level, it's almost a game to create a website in just a few minutes... if you have graphic experience you will make yours fabulous website created with mobirise... however one star is missing, and it is the one referring to reliability... the software has enormous potential but sometimes we run into incomprehensible programming errors, which are fixed with updates, but which they damage the philosophy for which a user chooses this product: the speed of creation. If the programmers improve this aspect then the 5 stars are guaranteed.
I haven't found any other software that could give me what Mobirise offers: speed, simplicity and quality. For complex sites, turn to the elephantine Wordpress.

I have been using Mobirise since there V1 days and this has been by far the easiest yet flexible tool I have used to create websites quickly. For someone with ADHD it is nice to not be overwhelmed by tool bars full of tools I never use. They have come along way.

I've tried several other web builders over the years and have always come back to using mobirise! Year after year they never cease to provide with updated content needed to keep up with the changing times. The free versions work great and the paid additions are well worth it. I have been in the advertising and marketing business for over 40 years. During that time I have used, learned and explored countless different web design software platforms, hired various specialty programmers, etc. I found that Mobirise was one of the most intuitive and easiest way to quickly mock-up a functional prototype and in many cases, the actual working website. I really love the drag and drop aspects of building a site at very economical prices for smaller budget-conscience clients. Once I was familiar with the various themes and blocks, I could create websites that did NOT look "off the shelf" or like a standard template. This of course requires careful and creative preparation of images and knowing how they are placed within the blocks to look customized. I have had numerous web developers comment on the Mobirise projects saying how great the site and code was. My only suggestion to anyone looking for a drag/drop self hosted web builder for the Mac is to purchase the entire kit. It is a yearly fee ... but the constant updates and having access to the HTML editor will take "template looking" website design to the next level. Support level, tutorials and FAQ areas are getting better and better all the time. I have been with Mobirise since day one, and will continue using this great platform. Yes there are some limitations, but once you figure out 'how" to exploit the great blocks and themes with HTML, the limits seem boundless through great visuals and design know-how.
