I have been using Mobirise since 2017-2018. I love the way they have built it, as now I spend less time on coding, and the sections are pre-coded so I just have to drag and drop... no more CSS writing.. or configuring jscripts :) Also, if you want to write your own section or edit and section you can do it through the coding window. They come up with really good features and templates very often.
This is an offline web builder but is by far the best because, in other offline builders, you have to struggle a lot. There is no need to wait for slow internet speeds or worry about losing progress.
They have 1000s of blocks and templates.
Yes, every now and again, I do look at other latest options but always come back to Mobirise. It's been my trusty sidekick for years, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Love it!

Very simple to use.

One of my favorite features is the preview site as it locally hosts the website for you to view your edits before publishing.

It's pretty easy to use, drag and drop that is made even smarter. Got tons of templates to choose from and always getting new updates, templates, and features.

I have used a lot of drag and drop website editors over the years, but mobirise so far is the easiest one of them all. I mean even my 10 year old son can easily make a website with no fuss.

Even their form to mail is easy to setup, along with other forms that can easily link with 3rd party apps. (google maps, chat, shopping carts, icons, cliparts, gallery images, social media icons and links).

I just hope they can make it in a way the clients I designed the pages for can also have means to have easy access to update some parts of their pages. That would be perfect.

Mobirise is an excellent tool for What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) website development, especially if you prefer to keep your site hosted with an existing service. This is a nice alternative option to other WYSIWYG options like Wix or GoDaddy that tend to push you toward their more expensive hosting options. While mostly utilizing super easy and relatively customizable templates, the available HTML modules allow much more customization. The preview modules show both full and mobile browser renderings so you can fully test the site before publishing. The tools to publish are very user-friendly. All of this makes Mobirise a great option for veteran or inexperienced users alike. Customer service and an active discussion group community are there to help if you encounter any issues.

In summary, I definitely recommend Mobirise. The free version is highly capable, and premium options are relatively inexpensive if you’re looking for more custom solutions.

When I was asked to update the website of a small local charity I was delighted to discover Mobirise. I had tinkered a little in the past with HTML coding, but not being an expert and volunteering for an organisation that used all its donated money on small projects in Africa, I found the free version of Mobirise enabled me to produce an attractive and effective website in a remarkably short time. Its system of configurable building blocks allows for variation and imagination and the learning curve was quickly surmountable. I was surprised how much was possible with the free version, but I was then happy to purchase the Code Editor (you can’t expect to get everything for nothing!) which enabled me, even with my limited HTML and CSS skills, to add occasional tweaks to the standard blocks so that they looked exactly as I wanted them. As the website grew to meet the growing activities and requirements of the charity we found we could embed external features such as Google Forms and as a charity relying on donations it was worth it to purchase the very straightforward PayPal Shopping Cart extension to handle these. I would recommend any organisation such as ours to explore the possibilities offered by Mobirise.

A long-time creator of websites, ow in my 25th year doing so, I started, like everyone else to just type HTML Code. Shortly after starting I realized how tedious and time-consuming HTML coding is. Many so-called WYSIWYG programs were released, of various quality. One such program was Dreamweaver which was my go-to tool for a few years. Then Dreamweaver was acquired by Adobe and things took a turn. Suddenly, Dreamweaver no longer was the easy-to-use and free software as it had been.

I looked elsewhere and after a few “hit-and-miss” programs, I ended up with Mobirise. That was now a few years ago, I think around 2014 or 2015.
Since then, I have stuck to Mobirise. It’s free. It’s easy to use. It has a lot of helpful tools, like allowing suers to save blocks of code in visual format, creating pages from scratch with HTML code, easy handling of adding images to the site, previews and uploading without requiring a lot of technical expertise.
Mobirise is therefore an ideal program for beginners, but not only for beginners. Even with 20+ years of experience, you can still take advantage of the fast and robust environment in Mobirise.

I have recommended Mobirise to many users who have looked for efficient programs to create and publish their sites. Another reason for doing so is that their support department is always quick to respond and always very helpful Because they are overseas, their replies come the next day, but for 99% of the sites, that is soon enough. There are also Forums where other users share their experiences, provide tips and tricks and more.
You can purchase a professional version of the program, but it is not necessary. The license is good for one year.
