I've been designing websites for over 20 years. For the past 3 years I have been using Mobirise for a large number of sites. Instead of getting bogged down in Wordpress clunky templates, or designing from the ground up, Mobirise gives me the ability to Rapidly build beautiful sites that are responsive and feature rich. There are a number of extensions provided and the large number of provided templates with customized blocks get you off and running quickly.

The platform works out of the box for those with no HTML or CSS background, but its built in code editor allows fast customization for those who do. Publishing to a server is very easy. You can export your site with the click of a button and then FTP in, or you can connect directly to your server with the mobirise software.

Here's the most important takeaway. In many cases I have built and published sites using mobirise in a single day. As a design / developer in a competitive space, this is so important. I highly recommend mobirise.

For me, there is literally no other option than Mobirise since I am not a Wordpress lover. I have to build multiple websites, for clients and other ventures and paying for every build is not viable for a freelance designer.
Cost, usability, design options - code editor (even though I'm not a coder per se), ease of upload ALL THERE.

Absolute piece of crap. Created 2 sites but when switching between opening them they converted to blank templates. AVOID this CRAP unless you want to lose all of your work.

Today I wanted to open a project which I created previously with a paid template, but I was informed that I have to buy the template in order to edit my project. Because I was informed before that I can't use the templates after "The Fake Lifetime License" has ended, but I can still use the projects I have created even after the "The Fake Lifetime License" has ended. Now I can't use any of the website which I spent time and effort to build

I have been using this software for 5 years and paid for 3 years, and I know very well what I'm talking about. The pack was marketed as a "lifetime" as far as I can very well remember
And those practices were not in the term sheet when I paid.

This shady company is located in the EU just next to me, and it's time to file for a lawsuit and compensate for my significant losses

I have renewed for 2 times the same product which I was using during all this time. at the first renewal the proposed to me to use the older version "mobirise 4" to be able to use all the extension I paid, however during the second renewal the told me that if I don't want to extend the membership I will not be able to use all my previous extensions (which I bought back in 2019) without giving the user the possibility of choice, like happened in the past. it means I have lost all my past work, template and extensions which I paid already 2 times. they proposed to leave a positive review to get a small discount on their products. to be honest I am not going to pay the same service 3 times to see all the work lost in 1 year

had a really good dialogue with them. can only highly recommend them and they are good with their support because I had challenges using their product.

I've been coding websites by hand (using Notepad) since 1997. As I've gotten older I've found it harder to keep up with coding technology, so I recently tried a handful of HTML editors. I wasn't very impressed with any of them until I found Mobirise.

I watched a couple tutorials and gave it a try, and couldn't be more pleased. I built a great looking test site - very quickly - with the free version. It went faster than I could have coded by hand.

Are there things I wish were different? Yes, but I could say that about any software program I use. Mostly it's just personal preferences, but while there are bold and italic options for emphasizing text, I wish there was an underline option as well. I can do that with the upgrade, but it seems like it should be included with the other text emphasis options in the free version. Like I said though, that's a minor complaint, especially compared to the ease of use and outstanding results.

All in all I find this is a very easy to use editor. I'd even recommend it to those with no web design experience because you don't have to see even one line of code. It creates great looking, responsive websites visually. You just drag and drop content blocks into place then edit the text to say what you want. Drag and drop images to replace the images as well. Easy peasy!

The link menu and footer are global, so if you make an edit to either it's changed on every page. That's a real time save for growing sites. I started with a blank page but you can also start with a template if you prefer, and the price is definitely right (free)...unless you like it as much as I did and decide to grab the upgrade!
