I wasn’t going to write a review after my uncomfortable visit, but since Dr. Tehrany didn’t see fit to follow up, I decided to share.

I came in for a knee injury.

He had me sit in a chair in a cramped space instead of exam table.

I don’t recall how my height came into the conversation, but tells me about how his friends were concerned about their daughter’s height but she grew to 5’2. I’m fine with being petite and I have a wonderful 6 ft husband. I don’t know if he was subliminally trying to make me feel bad.

He finally examines my knee after nonsense small talk and recommends an MRI.

I ask him if it’s safe for me to take my yoga class, and he cuts me off and brings up his wife. I tuned him out because he was so condescending.

When the visit was over he grabbed my AirPods which were next to me before I could pick them up. I wasn’t going to forget them. That was rude and dismissive.

The kicker is that I had my MRI well over one week ago and he never called with the results.

Fortunately I was able to log in and it’s not a serious injury, so maybe that’s why he’s not concerned to discuss next steps.

No matter what, it’s unprofessional to not call a patient. Claiming to be busy is a great excuse, but the waiting room was empty when I was there.

I had a Torn Rotator cuff.. and Dr. TEHRANY did a wonderful job on my shoulder. His staff was wonderful his the nurses, anesthesiologists, the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. I want to thank the housekeeper who cleaned the OR after my surgery. The Staten Island office was also very professional. They recommend I do PT at Clove lake the staff was loving patient . I'm doing well and back at work thanks so much. Yours Truly. Tracy Hunter

Terrible customer service. Toni has a serious problem either attitude nasty and incompetent unable to understand a basic request. And Dr. Lopresti fills notes from a visit for my workers comp case simply writing that I want PT. No burden of proof not professionally written so of course the insurance company denies it; prolonging my receipt of settlement and PT despite the fact that I won my case and have a tear in my shoulder. Just horrific. How is that professionally documented like my case is some kind of joke. TERRIBLE AND UNPROFEESIONAL!! but what do they care they get paid regardless.

Had a great all around experience at Manhattan Orthopedic Care. Dr. Tehrany and his associates and staff treated me with courtesy and respect. I had an ACL tear in my right knee from basketball and they made sure to treat me like family throughout the whole process. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks a lot.

Dismissive, lack of compassion and non interested in helping the patient. Lack of transparency as well.

I was referred to Dr. Therany's office by my physical therapist after tearing my ACL practicing MMA for many years. Dr. Therany was definitely one of the most professional orthopedic surgeon that I spoke to, compared 2 other doctors that I visited prior to seeing him. Good smiles, serious answers. Been very active in MMA and other sports myself, Dr. Tehrany takes my injury questions seriously and would examine and answer them thoroughly. Knowing that I had a lot of uncertainty with the surgery and post-surgery mobility and the chances of full recovery, he addresses all my concerns and his calm and friendly demeanor are definitely reassuring.

My experience with Dr. Tehrany and his office was excellent. Dr. Tehrany is a very knowledgeable doctor and skilled surgeon. Dr. Tehrany and his P.A. Stephan were both very personable with a great bedside manner and they both really took the time to explain all options and answer any questions. The entire staff in the Manhattan office were all nice, easy to work with and very helpful. Dr. Tehrany preformed surgery on my knee (torn meniscus) and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The surgery was fast, recovery smooth, he fixed my knee, no more pain and even better with no scar. I would highly recommend Dr. Tehrany t my friend/family and anyone looking for a wonderful orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Tehrany and his team are true professionals. I came to him for reconstructive ACL repair on my right knee. From the day I came for an evaluation, Dr. Tehrany and his team provided excellent consultation, service, & bedside manner. This started from pre-op to my final stages of physical therapy post op. Associate was pushing me to make appointment for surgery before I even saw Dr Tehrany. When I saw the Dr he had his breakfast on the desk!! He was condescending and said because of my age I probably had arthritis and it would be a long recovery. He wanted to operate but was not sure what he would do! And I wasted my $500!! Btw
I do not have Arthritis.

From the first phone call I knew I was going to be in good hands. Toni took me through everything seamlessly and professionally. Dr. Terhany and his entire staff treated me tenderly and as if I was the only patient in the Office. The skill and knowledge from Dr. Terhany is why I am ok today. My shoulder repair was not an easy one, and he successfully completed the task. I will be forever grateful. Thank you all!

I saw Dr. Armin Tehrany last July of 2016 is literally the best shoulder doctor I've ever had. I went to Dr. Tehrany because my shoulder was in bad condition, that Dr. Tehrany had to insert 8 anchor all around my Librium. Its been 2 months since surgery and I feel my shoulder is more stable
