Long lead times and when our new Halo Lights arrived the finish was really poor and not what we'd expect. Followed instructions to arrange a return and refund but not response. Chased after several and still no response after over a week. Really disappointing from what appears to be a well established company.

I purchased the Bailey with 7 white orb lights
My package was lost for months then when located was way below standard quality and broken
My light was ill fitting meaning holes didn’t line up plus bent in multiple areas - the company offered me nothing. I also needed to buy over $200 worth of supplies to hang it and make it work
In AUD 🇦🇺 it was $500.99 just for the light fixture and that’s non dimmable either
I wasn’t impressed with this group the light fitting material was very low grade quality - I wrote on their Facebook page late last year Re the light yet my comment was removed

Really poor quality lights, very cheaply made for the high price you pay, also I have questioned the I.P waterproof rating, as this is questionable. MOD forwards your order to a Chinese manufacturer. Shipping takes ages as delivery comes from China. Finally, the customer service is on a different planet, they don't understand the questions asked, keep giving the same none relevant answers, and don't deal with the issue. Regarding MODS's reply, below. Several emails highlighting my concerns and issues have been sent, hence my opinion on their replies. I look forward to receiving UK complaint regulation certification on the I.P ratings

This company knows how to treat their customers. Their team of customer service is amazing and very attentive to their customer's needs. We were hesitant at first as we have seen similar lights, but the service mod has provided us has exceeded our expectations, not to mention their lights are awesome!

I bought seven of their lights (Order #610335 and Order #68035) and the electrician won't install them as they are not CE/ESA certified. I have now wasted over $1000 and don't know what to do with these lights.

The Bailey light fitting I received had unfortunately been machined incorrectly in the factory.
Today a correctly machined fitting arrived...it did take a few weeks due to the factory being closed for holidays, but I do have to say that the customer service did keep me informed of their attempts to resolve the problem. The fitting itself is just stunning....it's a real centre-piece in my kitchen area. The quality is fine. Ordering from abroad is always a gamble, but I would say to prospective buyers don't be put off....hold out if there ever is a problem because it's worth it in the end.

I placed an order on January 2, 2023 and have been going around in circles with customer service ever since. Part of their problem is a delay in correspondence, I don't know if it is due to a time zone difference or the shifts that they work. Here is a chronology of the highlights which transpired.
1. October 30, 2022 I sent an inquiry about customization of the light fixtures and was told that it is possible and to notify when the order had been placed.
2. January 2, 2023 4:31 PM I placed the order and received confirmation of the order.
3. January 2, 2023 4:39 PM I emailed the confirmation number to Anne.
4. January 3, 2023 5:32 AM Anne requests the order number.
5. January 3, 2023 9:22 AM I provide the order number.
6. January 3, 2023 10:59 PM Anne states that she did not see the order number and requests additional information (order number, full name and email address).
7. January 4, 2023 9:07 AM I provide the requested information.
8. January 5, 2023 1:19 AM Anne acknowledges receipt of the information and confirms that the customization is noted.
9. January 5, 2023 10:13 PM Anne notifies me that the order has shipped but will attempt to stop shipment of order.
10. January 5, 2023 10:48 PM Anne confirms order has shipped and suggests the adjustment be made on my end.
11. January 6, 2023 9:13 AM I explain that the order will be sent outside of the US for a project that I am working on and I do not want to take a chance on having the adjustment being made at that end so I request a return authorization.
12. January 9, 2023 4:23 PM I email notification that the delivery has been made and request status update of my request for return authorization.
13. January 11, 2023 10:06 PM Anne provides instructions to adjust the fixtures.
14. January 13, 2023 4:59 PM I notify you again that I do not intend to adjust the fixtures and again request a return authorization and instructions for return.
15. January 13, 2023 8:35 PM Anne provides requirements for return and communicates the 20% partial refund should I decide to keep the fixtures.
16. January 16, 2023 1:52 PM I notify Anne that would like to return the fixtures.
17. January 18, 2023 2:59 PM Beverly notifies me that the order cannot be returned due to the customization.
18. January 18, 2023 3:51 PM I notify Beverly that the customization was not performed and this is why I am returning the fixtures.
19. January 20, 2023 5:20 AM Beverly notifies of offer to replace the fixtures free of cost with the requested customization.
20. January 20, 2023 10:20 AM I accept offer and ask for clarification of offer.
21. January 26, 2023 5:51 AM Offer is rescinded and again instructions for adjustment of the fixtures is provided.
After I provided these details to MOD they determined that the customization request had not been made within the required 12 hours so a replacement was not possible but they would assist with a refund. They later requested photos of the packaging and light fixtures to verify condition before return. I sent the photo of the unopened box on Feb. 1, 2023, I never bothered to open the box since I knew that the customization had not been performed. I am still waiting for their response. Overall I would say the time, effort and aggravation are not worth it. Buy your lighting elsewhere.
Feb. 07, 2023 Update to Response
This was exactly the wrong response to my review. Yes, the return will be processed and a refund eventually issued but the damage to your reputation is done. The response should have been, we took too long to process your customization request and we will work hard to make the necessary corrections and earn your future business. The issue could have easily been resolved by asking me to return the order (at my expense) and offering to make the required customization and returning the order to me completed. But that never happened so this is why this company will never achieve its full potential and remain substandard.
February 28, 2023 Update
I finally received a full refund from MOD. A word of caution, had I opened the box and made the adjustments to the fixtures that MOD advised me to do on three different occasions, I would not have received a refund at all. I can forgive a lot of things, but not bad customer service.
