Don't be tricked!!!

Don't be tricked!!!! Modani Furniture took our $ and didn't deliver. Has held our money since August 2023 and won't return it. They kept the merchandise is trying to charge a $860 restocking fee. They have beautiful furniture and we were planning to purchase more. We have a custom sofa we purchased at the same time as a table. They kept the money for the table delivery took so long on the (not custom) table that we cancelled and they won't respond. Do be tricked by them. I never leave bad reviews because I own a business and know how hard it is to offset negative reviews. Stay away from this company. If anyone has any questions, I can show validation and proof of over a year and over 20 attempts to resolve this.

My experience with this company has been the WORST EXPERIENCE …

My experience with this company has been the worst i have ever had. The furniture is overpriced and the pieces that they are built with is garbage. I spent 2 thousand dollars on a credenza two years ago and I'm still waiting for someone to call me to solve my problem. I have called the corporate telephone, sent rmails, visited the store and they wipe their ass with customer complaints. The answer i recieved today after ( 2 ) years is that the piece has been discontinued. All I'm asking for is the name of the manufacturer so i can order the part i need, I'm not asking for them to pay. They can't even do that. DO NOT SPEND A PENNY WITH THEM. Their customer service SUCKS. You can get better satisfaction from Ikea and better customer service from Walmart.

Absolutely atrocious experience

Absolutely atrocious experience. They sold us an outdoor set but sent us something made of much cheaper material. Despite them acknowledging their error, they refused to waive the 35% restocking fee (we reached out within hours of taking possession of the furniture to confirm their error and they acknowledged it immediately yet still mandated the 35% charge to us). Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered

Ordered White couches w/ Mondani

Ordered White couches, the cushions are flat. The floor model they have on display for last 2 years (according to them) has more fluff. Brought this up when delivered they said its normal. Gary customer service rep is unhelpful and has the audacity to say its flat cause I used it. It flattened in 2 days by just me (I live alone)?

I had a terrible experience at the…Modani Furnuture Paramus

I had a terrible experience at the Modani Furniture store in Paramus. After waiting outside for over 30 minutes, the store manager finally opened the door but greeted us with rudeness and disdain, even mocking our accent. When we expressed our frustration, she refused to apologize and instead threatened to call the police, which escalated the situation unnecessarily. Despite calling the police ourselves, they could not address the manager's unprofessional behavior as it was outside their scope.

To make matters worse, when I filed a complaint, the response from Modani's headquarters was vague and unsatisfactory, offering no specific resolution or apology. It’s worth noting that this business has a 1-star rating on the BBB, with many other customers reporting similar issues. Based on my experience and the reviews of others, I would not recommend doing business with Modani Furniture.

Flawed product and horrible customer service

We had a horrible experience with Modani. Within a few weeks of delivery of a chair and sofa, we found a piece of the chair beginning to jut out of the arm of the chair and this continues to literally come undone and will no doubt break through the fabric. The sofas seams are unraveling under the arms. The biggest surprise was Modanis customer service representative basically telling us too bad. Staff at the showroom tell us they are unable to do anything. Essentially, this company takes no responsibility for their flawed merchandise.

Beware: Modani’s Faulty Furniture and unfulfilled

A year ago I bought 10 dining chairs with insurance, after few months they started to ripped apart, they replaced few of the chairs and after a year I had to file a claim with the insurance company and they approved to replace them.
Madani called me and said the chairs were discontinued so they gave me a store credit.
the insurance not valid any more and in order to have the same chairs I need to add more money since Modani have the same chairs but different vendor and they not willing to honor the insurance which they sold it to me.
This is a fraud because the chairs are bad quality and I’ll need probably to replace them all !
I try to call the company but they refuse to replace it!

We bought summer furniture late October…

We bought summer furniture late October 2023, they delivered it 2-3 weeks later. We immediately covered it for the winter. Before that treated it with teak oil as instructed by our salesperson manager, I think, David. Opened it in late May 2024, treated it with teak oil again. That furniture is terrible, pillows soak up water for days, becoming 30 pounds heavier, wood is cracking and fabric under pillows does not let water go through, so it’s just sits there. Don’t buy summer furniture from this store! Nobody wants to take responsibility! They said that it is not a manufacturer fault!!! This grey furniture with teak wood, also we got the outside dining table with chairs, waiting for that to fall apart! Total fraud!!! Be aware of their tactics! Basically been outside for 45 days, have all the pictures to prove it! Next step, small claims court and lawyers! And We got a lot of furniture in this store, they treat their customers as crap!

Spent 15k on furniture

Spent 15k on furniture - 6k on sofa - the sofa was initially delivered without the correct connectors - the company said they would resend with correct connectors - second delivery was the same as the first - incorrect. Third time lucky you would think - no - same as the first 2 - just incompetent. Asked for refund after they took back the sofa - full refund was ok'd except on the due date I got a call that they could not process the refund on the initial card as new pos system so more delay as check needed to be sent through the mail. Avoid this company and its service.

We had a great experience from buying…

We had a great experience from buying to delivery to even solving a small problem. The furniture was very nice, we ordered a dining room table and chairs. The delivery people were nice. Gary did a great job following up with a chair we had with lose threads, and quickly ordered a replacement.

Gary’s customer Service - 5 Star!

Beautiful furniture! Delivery was very easy and even though I had an issue with an item, Gary was extremely helpful and resolved my issue quickly. So I highly recommend Modani for not only beautiful furnishings but also for top notch customer service.

I wish I could give zero stars

I wish I could give zero stars. I purchased a $4K couch, and the middle cushion was totally flat. They replaced it with a new middle cushion, which was then much more down-filled than the two side cushions. I provided photos to customer service as well as to the manager at the King of Prussia store, Rose, and she said if she had that couch in her showroom she would request new side cushions. The couch looks ridiculous, with the middle seat sitting inches above the side seats. You should review their rating with the BBB. I should have done that before purchasing.

Table replacement

One of our outdoor tables arrived with a small scratch. I contacted customer service and Gary responded within an hour to arrange for the delivery of a replacement table which was delivered three weeks later. Thank you Gary and Modani for your excellent service.
