So this is my second time telling my story. Last time i posted a review i got in touch with the customorservice team but sadly they could not help so iam close to 3 months waiting for my orders now - every time i ask what is happening they just tell me to keep waiting - several weeks ago i got my two tracking numbers and non of them works and eventhou ive told this to modekungen several times they just tell me to be patient and that it will be updated shortly. as a customer i fell absolutely
abandoned and to be honest i dont know what to do next. To sum it up - the 17. oct i order 5 items one item arrived in singular 6 weeks later. i still havent seen the shadow of the remaining items - funny thing is - modekungen has a quite long waiting time but it took them less that 24 hours to collect my money from my card. I do not believe that i will ever get my items and the customerservice team dont seem to give a **** about my situation. very very bad experince! :((

So I heard about this site a while ago back when I was in middle school. I always browsed it and wanted to buy clothes from here, I thought they had really cute stuff at the time. Flash forward to now. I randomly remembered this store and decided to buy some clothes. I only bought 2 items (Thank God). So it takes one of them 1 month to arrive. The other takes 2 months...wha? Are the clothes being made to order in a sweatshop...why such a long wait? Don't worry I'll get to that later. Anywho. After worrying for a loooong time whether or not the items got lost in delivery I fiiiiinally received them. Annnnd I'm extremely disappointed to the least. The quality of the items was subpar at best. The material of the first item that arrived was the worst. The most itchiest uncomfortable fabric known to mankind. The pattern on the item was not even or aligned in a way that transitioned nicely. The craftsmanship was okay, nothing was immediately falling apart after trying it on. But then again I could only wear both items once. The 2nd item had slightly better fabric quality...hey at least it wasn't itchy! But the sizing was super weird. I ordered the same size for both clothes. The 1st one fit, the 2nd one....nooooooope. I could barely get it on. And once I struggled to put it on I could barely get the damn thing off...I was legit afraid I would forever be trapped wearing that like it's some horrible symbiotic parasite. And unfortunately(or fortunately..) Modekungen doesn't make Venom suits.
So how the hell does that work? If the sizing isn't standardized across all the clothes then it'd be nice if it was listed somewhere. Now maybe this is a "Euro" thing...I don't know. But when I got my 2nd item...it was sewn shut. If I recall correctly there was strings sewn the bottom portion together and the button holes weren't even holes...uh. So I have to finish making my garment now...I guess. Cool. I've ordered things for ASOS and the clothes were not sewn shut. So I don't understand?

Now onto next thing. So I wasn't under the impression while browsing the site that my clothes were going to ship out of China. Perhaps I'm blind but I don't see anything referencing shipping from China or clothes being made in China whatsoever. I had believed that this was a clothing store located in Sweden. I mean I can't be a complete idiot to believe this...the sites main language is in Swedish. Hence the tiny Swedish flag. The main currency is Euros not Yuan. Even the url has .SE in it implying that is a Swedish domain. Checking the site again it says in the about page that they have offices in China along with showrooms...whatever that means. Also when you request a return the return address they provide you with is straight up located in China. The quality is like that of those cheaply made asian clothes. Which there's completely nothing wrong with that if that's what you intended to buy in the first place. I was not. Judging by the NOT cheap prices I wasn't expecting the quality to be so bad. I have no problem with buying cheap Aliexpress-like clothes because I know what I'm getting. It's a cheaply made knockoff for a low price. But with Modekungen they give the impression that their clothes aren't cheaply made...going by the price tag. If they were Aliexpress pricing I wouldn't be shocked at what I received in the mail. You get what you pay for. Not so with Modekungen. Speaking of cheap wholesale clothes. The sizing seems like it was made for thinner women *cough* petite asian girls. I'm suspicious considering almost all the photos on the website have the head cropped out. I assume that most of the photos are asian models. Implying the the sizing is smaller than would be expected. Oh I almost for got to add. The 1st item did not at all look like its picture. The material was much different than it appeared online.

Lastly the shipping. Honestly this is what upset me the most. It's a total racket. Maybe less so for those living on the same continent or nearby continent. I'm in NA. Shipping took a long time to get here. Presumably Chinese shipping is super cheap but slow as hell. Overseas shipping back to China is slow as hell and expensive as hell. If only I would have known this before...Even Ebay buyers complain of this. I read someone getting an item not as described and having to return it only to realize it costs like $40 to ship back a $20 item...Wut. That's extremely shady to me. They lull you into a false sense of security with the 60 day return policy. Send you subpar quality products and trap you with them because they assume you won't want to lose even more money trying to ship & return the item back to them. Not to mention the long wait, with customs and such, so you'll probably miss the 60 day return anyway. If you try to buy the faster shipping it will likely be 3 times more expensive than the item you purchased. :) Now since I got both of my items at completely different times I wonder when my 60 day return policy actually began? Does it start when I received the first item? Or does it start when I receive the second one? I certainly hope it's not the former. Cause...if so. Wow. I got a message stating my return status is
"ready" That my return policy has expired...good one. "Store Credit If Returned" Yeah. No. Say it with me now. C a s h R e f u n d.

So frankly I'm pretty disgusted by this experience. My only saving grace is that I didn't order more items! I will never be ordering from here again.

I got introduced to this site by my girlfriend, and I can just say that they have some dope clothes! and also free shipping which is good because that tends to cost a lot on other sites.
Customer service is also real rad n personal!

I ordered a dress on 5/25. It has been two months now and I still have not received it. Every time I contact customer service, they give me excuses like "there is a delay in production" or "there was a sizing error". Now, two months after my order, they tell me that my product is no longer in stock. Extremely disappointed and will not be shopping here again. Do not order from here.
