Great service so far , got 6 months free from dealer, and great offer to extend at a good price. It remains to be seen how they perform should I need to claim, but I had a warranty with them some years back and it was no nonsense when I needed it, hence no hesitation using them again.
Got help from Chris at customer services today setting it all up, he was very helpful.

Another claim company that uses every excuse in the book to not pay a claim. Your first or few months maybe free if you buy a second hand car, dont bother paying the extra to extend it. Very friendly emails to the point where you supply all the information then they'll pull the rug from under you and use any excuse to not pay. Absolute wast of oxygen. Avoid
For momentum. Warranty ref number VPX19804780

Do not trust momentum; they will not honour their promises.
I bought a 10 year old Corsa with 25,000 miles on the clock, which came with a 6 month Plan 2 Momentum Warranty. The car was driving well with no issues, and I have driven a further 2,000 miles in the last 4 months. Two weeks ago, with no prior indication of slipping clutch etc, while out driving, the car would not go into gear and therefore, was undriveable and could not be moved. Googling suggested to try to put the car into gear with the engine off which worked, and this indicated a clutch issue. I contacted Momentum as my warranty said that it covered "major faults like engine, clutch and gear box failure.." Immediately, they tried to suggest that I had been driving incorrectly by riding the clutch and it was not a sudden failure. I am very experienced driving manual vehicles of all sizes, and do not ride the clutch and I was surprised that a car with so few miles would have a clutch failure.
I took the car to a reputable and helpful garage. Momentum would not authorise the work until the garage had dissembled the clutch to diagnose the issue. Even after verification from the garage that the car would not drive, multiple photographs of evidence and further evidence from the mechanics, Momentum refused to contribute to the repair, saying that it was not a sudden failure, instead was 'wear and tear'.
I involved the car dealer who sold me the car. In his discussions with Momentum, it became apparent that they would not support my claim as they did not feel that my dealer gives them sufficient business as he is a sole trader. Nothing to do with me or my car issue. Unfortunately, I seem to be collateral damage and have been left with a bill of over £1000 to replace a clutch.
If you are looking for a warranty, look elsewhere than Momentum.
