Applied got the message "service not available at the moment" no idea if it has affected my credit rating? Avoid

Rubbish, was provided with a 95% acceptance for a balance transfer card and then refused.

Having previously always used the bank or local Post Office for holiday currency, I thought a comparison check (no different to the method for car or house insurance) might be of benefit. It proved to be the case!
It was easy to see the exchange rates offered by a range of firms, together with the ways of paying and terms for collection or delivery.
I would certainly use the service again and also recommend others to try it.

I would definitely recommend this website when looking to switch accounts, buying insurance and travel money but I am sure the other services are just as helpful, its always useful and easy to use!

A little gem of a Site...
My Wife is 65 and I am 67 years of age and we have planned a trip/adventure to Australia and New Zealand at the end of 2018. We, now, need to investigate the position concerning getting best tourist exchange rates. One of the things that I dread doing is trawling relevant Web Sites to obtain up-to-date information about Currency, rates and providers etc - without the annoying and intrusive adverts and pop-ups appearing just at the moment that I don't want them to! I decided this week to investigate the advice given by 'The Money Programme' but, quite by accident, I must have only typed in "Money" and 'Google' offered 'Money.co.uk' as an option. I clicked into it and found a Site that is easily navigated and quite simple to follow. It is user-friendly and, quite frankly, "does what it said on the tin". The Site provides a wealth of Money advice covering all likely requirement but I clicked in to the 'Travel Money' bit. It then asked me to select a Currency and as soon as I had entered my choice, up came a load of option, comparisons and actual, up-to-the-minute tourist exchange rates. It provided a sub-menu so that I could click in to "view the deal". It gave me information about any delivery fees payable and what the best rate is. Most refreshingly, I was not subjected to annoying pop-ups and adverts and I felt that this Site was giving me the facts without appearing to promote/endorse a particular product or Company. I feel as if I've stumbled across a little gem of a Site - that treats me to the courtesy of telling me what I came to the Site to find out. I compliment the people who provide the Site and its information. I feel as if I have secretly discovered genuine strangers who have suddenly become my best friends. And you know ..... best friends can be relied upon! I'll, therefore, be 'chatting' to my 'mates' quite a lot between now and our trip in November and I will interrogate the Site thoroughly. Well done you 'Money.co.uk' - you have come up trumps. I wish you all the success in the world. Last, but note least, Thank You!!!

Good website but company you advertise on your site to exchange money can’t be trusted Travel fx they take your money but when lose on exchange rate cancel you order and don’t return your money so as a good website I would remove this company as they do not for fill there contracts you sign into and don’t answer phone. I went through your website to find this company and it leaves you with a bad review as there actions so you can take it up with them and see what response you get

I have been using this site to track volatility in a specific currency before deciding when and from whom to buy from. It is an excellent source of information. I know that past performance is not an indication of future exchange rate movement, but this is the bast I have found, short of purchasing a Bloomberg account, which does seem a touch of overkill for holiday money.

All in all, I think this is a fair and honest representation. Recommended.
