If this platform worked perfectly then it would be fantastic. The concept is great but it is full of bugs. I have found it to be very unreliable at times, slow at relaising transactions and have ultimately had to resort to the old school excel sheet.

I have been using this program for several days now on my Chromebook, over the years I have tried lots of personal finance programs and, have to say this one is by far the best. As other have said the only thing I can find fault with, is the tagging (a minor problem), but evidently that is being put right. Also this program is British that has to be doubly good.

Looked and worked great until I realised I needed to delete some custom tags , spent ages and ages trying to do this , looks like you can’t , wasted a number of hours on this app.

Helped my dad with his account and was immediately put off. It was slow and unintuitive to use. The tagging system was appalling and difficult to edit/delete/cancel during generating custom tags.
Ugh. Left feeling very frustrated as a result even though I’d gone in with high expectations.

See all your accounts in one single place!
This helps so much getting one single access to all your bank accounts, savings, credit cards or investments. It gives a good idea of how much you spend every month in each category. A must to help you save or understand where your money goes!
I wish the features come more quickly though!

I really love this app, have been using it since it first started and have seen it grow. I use it daily and find it essential for looking after my finances.

More recently the tool has not been as good. Past balances are reported incorrectly, the graphs do not update properly and the support desk (which used to be quite responsive) has not answered queries I sent in weeks ago

I hope this isn't the case of something getting to big and unmanageable, it would be a real shame to see it go

I have been using this app from last 2-3 years it has helped me to manage my funds and accounts. Planner is one of the best feature that I cant stop using it.

See the whole (or majority) of your financial portfolio in a single place has been extremely valuable to me over the years. If you need an overview of your financial situation or a break down of where your money is going so you can create a budget, then Money Dashboard does it for you.

It's had it's ups and downs since I started using it ~4 years ago, but there's been a vast improvement in quality and features over the past year, especially with Open Banking now beginning to roll out.

There's a few financial services that I'm still missing (so am currently adding them as an offline source), but I can see some are already in progress to be added and the others are in the backlog.

The application is great. Simple, easy to get set up, and definitely helps me budget. Transactions are imported quicker than they used to be thanks to open banking integration.

BUT - customer support in response to tickets or contact via social media is extremely slow. In this day and age, I consider responses within 24 hours as standard, and anything more than 48 hours (excluding weekends of course) as being especially slow. I’ve currently been waiting for an answer to a simple query for over three working days, which isn’t really acceptable.

However I will keep using the app, as I do like it, and the need to contact support is rare, as slow as it is.

Has really helped me with my budgeting, as I can get a "helicopter view" of all my accounts at a glance which is a hard thing to do knowadays with all the various providers I now use and different logins (which I forget). The best thing is this app is 100% free vs other alternatives I have seen.

It’s a good-looking app, but it's really only useful as a way to see the balances of connected accounts in one place.

Since a recent update, the app on my phone has now stopped working altogether and crashes as soon as it’s started, so I’ve uninstalled it. It’s a pity about this because MoneyDashboard did, at least, offer a way to access the balances of connected accounts in one place. Having said that, the relatively small range of accounts available for connection and the need to update most of these manually did make it quite cumbersome for even this humble task.

Transactions, bizarrely, are not available by clicking on the account as you’d expect - you have to manually do a search then save this to see the account history. The simple job of switching between accounts becomes a real chore.

It’s good to see some new accounts added, but Chip only syncs the balance and shows no transactional detail at all. It’s been like this for months. Over the past year there have been no noticeable improvements in functionality and the many faults present in the initial release remain unaddressed.

It’s difficult to reconcile the state of this app with the huge visionary potential promoted in the investor webinar, but the real killer is the absence of support. I’ve raised many tickets, but rarely had any response.

This is a huge missed opportunity: The need for a phone based personal financial manager is clear, but with such limited functionality, no development and no communication with users, MoneyDashboard may have missed the boat. I’m glad I didn’t invest.

Don't respond to simple queries, transactions weeks out of date. Abysmal

Most service provider connections of any aggregator app which gives me the fullest picture of my personal finances.

However, seriously need to invest in the mobile app offering as it is flagging compared to competition who are mobile first/only. Get with the times because the younger demographic like me use mobile a lot more than laptop. This decent but not fully functional mobile experience is the main inhibitor to a 5 star rating.

One other annoyance is the default “Enjoyment” category of which so much is assigned under that isn’t intuitively enjoyment. Made worse by the fact you can’t make a sub-level category a main category unless you make your own duplicative custom category which requires a lot of manual intervention to automate future tagging as desired.

MoneyDashBoard is a cleaver intuitive app that tracks user’s money using their details directly from their bank accounts. Now other application do offer money tracking functions but a lot of them have to be done manually. I personally have been doing this manual approach for a while and it has become quite cumbersome recently. MoneyDashboard provide a clean easy method where it can track all your payments going in and out of your bank account(s). But this isn’t instant and sometimes can take up to 5 days to refresh a new payment.

It’s important to note that some users may find logging in with their bank details uncomfortable. Also, MoneyDashboard uses your data to sell to companies on market research. All free things come at a price! Whilst They dont sell your personal details directly some people may find this troublesome. But this is common practice with a lot of sites you sign up to or apps you download especially Facebook.

Aside from that negativity, Money Dashboard provide bank-level security “…Extended Validation security certificate with 256-bit encryption to protect your data…” it also provides you with support with many high street banks and if it doesn’t support the bank or source you want to track your money on, you can manually add an “offline source”. Which I had to do and glad I could do. It can ultimately help individuals with saving goals and cut down on over spending as you can quickly see your money in and out via a graph or chart of your liking.

This is what we have all been waiting for to replace the much missed Microsoft Money.

I can wait to see it evolve over time. I hope that Loan and mortgage account support is on your road map.

I've been using since they started back in 2010, they've made some really nice gradual improvements to the service over the years.

This is one of the main apps I recommend this day and age...
I think everyone should be using something like this considering how fragmented banking is for users.

Gives a nice high level overview of your finances in once place
Tagging of transactions is automatic for the most part and is constantly being improved.

From a security perspective they have a few areas they need to improve on considering the standards that have been set in the last few years.

From what I'm aware
- 2FA/MFA is on the books for login
- Open banking API to provide secure means to accessing data from providers, instead of handing over your credentials.

I think they need to work on their visibility as anyone I speak with have never heard of them considering they've been around for almost 10 years now.

If you want to know where your money is going, Money Dashboard is really the best option.

CUBE SMART STORAGE. Is not very customer service oriented!!
To say the least I got locked in a facility the other night and the company's name had changed suddenly without any warning. And apparently their rules do not match the preferable storage choices rules. I'm a person who works a third shift and Storage Choice offered me 24 hours access, which I need to be able to access my stuff.
So after spending an hour and a half loading stuff then being allowed into the facility just before 10 p.m. unloading my stuff and then discovering it was past 10 and now that I was inside the facility I was not allowed access to my storage bin.... then I discovered I may not be able to get out of the facility. After several attempts to get hold of CubeSmart to tell them my problem I was told to wait until somebody called nobody ever called an hour later I had to start loading up all my stuff again and punch my numbers and was able to escape. It was a horrible customer experience and I feel the CubeSmart needs to apologize

As someone who has worked in software development for 10+ years, i am impressed at how quickly they have build such a robust application. I've linked my current account, credit accounts and saving accounts - now i have a dashboard that tells me exactly where my money is being spent, and where i can make savings!

Logging into the dashboard view, i found it particularly useful to see a graphical representation of where i am in the month, and my expenditure across all accounts. I had previously being using another product called Yolt, and found is frustrating that i could not create predictions based on regular outgoings, or to create granular budgets for particular items. With Money Dashboard, they allow the flexibility to add your own custom tags, giving you greater visibility into where your money is.

They've also got a web version of their mobile app which is very handy for checking accounts on the go!

Some things i'd like to see added
- 2Factor Authentication when logging in
- facility to auto update all connected accounts with one click.

This app has put me in control of my money and ultimately has made me better off. As other users have said, you will need to invest a bit of time to get yourself up and running (adding accounts, tagging transactions, totting up different types of spending). You'll then need to spend a little time drawing some conclusions based on what you discover (I unsurprisingly discovered that I spend too much money!) and setting yourself some budgets... but once that's done, this app is really helpful in the day-to-day. I've got 3 accounts attached to the app from three different banks, and I can genuinely see what I'm spending versus what I can afford. It's true that some transactions are delayed by a few days (for some banks). And it's true that you'll need to go through passwords and authorisations each time (for some banks)... but even with these little hurdles, it's still an absolutely brilliant tool. Also worth saying that when I've had minor issues with the tool, the response from the customer services team has been really speedy. Give it a go - what do you have to lose?
