Ordered a bin and it was listed as next…

Ordered a bin and it was listed as next day delivery, still hasn't turned up a week later.

** UPDATE **

But your website said it was in stock and in the description it said next day delivery, which is part of the contract, I will be contacting Trades and Standards about this and the ASA in regards to false advertising.

* UPDATE 2 *

So the bin finally turned up today over one week late, wasn't even the bin I ordered, it is the wrong make and wrong colour. It wasn't packaged, the bin was all scratched and dusty and the lid was all bent, what am I supposed to do with a bin that is only worth binning?

* UPATE 3 *

I was given an explanation of what happened, which just appears to be a catalogue of mistakes, from the product listings being out of date, to delivery companies failing to deliver, but I was apologised to and given a refund. I won't be ordering from here again as it is just too much hassle and judging by the other reviews the company doesn't seem to learn from past mistakes.

First order with MonkeyOffice

First order with MonkeyOffice, I was pleasantly surprised that the storage boxes I had ordered were delivered so fast. Their customer service is very good too, the lady on the phone was very helpful.

Excellent Service, Absolutely First Class

Can I start by WOW! I don't think I have ever ordered from a company who have their parcels packaged so well. My order was placed and within 24 hours my 10 84l Really Useful Boxes were on doorstep from UPS/MonkeyOffice. I have to say I did look at the reviews here before placing the order and I was a little wary when I shouldn't have been, first class from start to finish.

I ordered some similar 64l boxes from Asda recently and the whole experience was horrendous and I don't even mean slightly. I made one order and they split it into 10 but kept the same order number so when two were delivered they couldn't find the rest or when they were going to be delivered, they arrived late/damaged/on four yes four separate days, they wouldn't replace them, they came back to collect them and they came on three separate days to collect, no apology, nothing.

This experience was the complete opposite.

Items Never in stock. Missed Delivery Dates for months

I ordered really useful 3 drawer set, to find I kept getting new delivery dates this went on for months. After 3months approximately, I received them but so poorly packed one was damaged and the other was faulty. So I had nothing but problems getting these returned and get replacements. Now on back order with various delivery dates. Then eventually they contacted me to say their not sure if or when they'll be back in stock. I don't understand why then you can still order them if they can't supply. After nearly 6 months of this then I gave up and cancelled my order.

I now have purchased them else where I wished I'd done that in the first place. I won't be using Monkey Office again not worth the hassle.

x2 delivery dates missed on my order…

x2 delivery dates missed on my order without a word of explanation, apology or notification until I have had to call them each time to find out where my order is. They have now promised to confirm shipping, prior to the third delivery attempt being due, in 15 days time. That will be ONE MONTH after my original "next working day" delivery date!!!!

Some weeks ago I bought 'Q-connect'…

Some weeks ago I bought 'Q-connect' cartridges from monkey office and send them by air to Gambia. I have used q-connect before and was happy about the quality. This time ALL of them, around 20 pcs , were all faulty. When we checked we noticed they were expired HP cartridges where they placed a sticker over. I had just bought another 100 pieces to send by air and after we called them they agreed to provide a refund for these. The ones faulty in gambia they want me to send back before they can provide a refund. Sending them back will cost more then the refund. Really not satisfied with them. Been doing business in cartridges over 10 years and never thought a shop in the UK could cheat this way.

Very Very poor attitude !

Ordered Printer Copier paper under next day delivery promise, only to receive e-Mail saying items out of stock (although at time of order their website was clearely showing stock availablility). Could only give a non-guaranteed "estimate" of delivery date for a minimum of a week later. I requested order cancellation and refund, but in response the Customer Service Representative chose to e-Mail me back and ask whether I wanted to cancel order and receive a refund !!. When I replied YES, she seemed to take great offence at the fact that I had been exasperated by her failure to fully read and act on my first e-Mail, and e-mailed back to berate me on what was essential an inoffensive but highlighted request.
I grow increasingly tired of on-line retailers promising a service, failing to deliver, and then becoming argumentative when their own shortcomings are exposed !

We do try where possible to show visibility of stock on the site as up to date possible sadly sometimes this isn’t quick enough and can mean between the update and orders being placed there is a small window the stock is taken by another order. We do have the follow up of process of an email the working day after the order has been placed to let you know the item went out of stock.
We are very sorry for the way that your order has been dealt with, a simple cancelling of your order and a refund was all that was needed as you had instructed us. We do appreciate that this was a frustrating experience for you and should not have happened.
We do strive to provide a positive customer experience , clearly this time we have fallen far short of that, my sincere apologies for this. Thank you for highlighting this to us , any experience good or bad is a way to help us change and improve how we interact with customer on a daily basis.

Excellent

This was my first time using MonkeyOffice. Found the items I required at a much cheaper price than elsewhere & with free delivery included. Order placed Friday morning and items were delivered, well packaged, on Monday.
I shall definitely be using MonkeyOffice for future stationary requirements.

NOT eco-friendly

Their 'Green' section is a joke. Full of standard products that are completely harmful to the environment eg plastic tapes, plastic mats, plastic everything. This is one of the worst cases of green-washing I've seen. Received no reply when questioning them about it. If you actually care for the environment, source better products, don't just claim to be green and confuse customers into buying horrible products. Thankfully consumers are waking up to this and these types of companies will be left behind with their backwards thinking.

Left hand. Right hand. Who knows...

On a Monday I ordered a shredder and received confirmation that it would be delivered in 48 hours. It didn't arrive. I called and spoke to a very helpful lady on Thursday who apologised and said it would be with me the following day. It didn't arrive. I called on the following Monday and spoke to the same helpful lady who apologised and committed to track my consignment down. She rang back to say "it had been found" and would be with me the next day. It didn't arrive. I rang on the Thursday to express my exasperation and spoke to the same lady who tried to find out what was going on but couldn't and promised to call me back the next day. She didn't call - but the shredder did arrive. It appears they really don't have a handle on the operational side of their business.

Good products (star). Good prices (star). Helpful but uninformed staff. Logistical nightmare.

The Monkey that didn't get the Banana

Order #302292 - After researching which scanner to purchase for a few weeks I finally settled on the Epson Perfection v370 and was delighted to find it available in stock on Monkey Office for a great price so decided to purchase.

Everything seemed great, the item was purchased easily and I received my order confirmation.

Skip forward a couple of weeks and I still am unable to get my scan on. I contacted them via email and received a reply from Bryony who was lovely and quick to respond, she told me the item was out of stock and provided me with a new dispatch date - I asked to be notified if there were any further delays.

Skip ahead another week and a half - still unable to get my scan on. New dispatch date been and gone, i contact again - ITEM NOW DISCONTINUED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company is brilliant

This company is brilliant. I have been using them for nearly five years. Sometimes a little problem might happen (thousands of product lines) but they always sort it out and makes you happy. The staff are really friendly and chatty. You will feel like you are dealing with old friends!!! Thanks guys! You da best!

Monkey Business.

The worst online company I've ever experienced. Have you ever heard of a company quoting postage and packing then adding VAT to it at the end ? A few days after placing my order, I had a phonecall to say it wasn't in stock but if I was prepared to wait a week, it would be delivered. I agreed to the delay and waited. Nothing arrived. Waited again then got in touch. More excuses but they promised to update me the following morning. Next morning, again, nothing. I've cancelled the order now two weeks after placing it. Even that wasn't straightforward with a number of communications necessary to get a refund. Refund eventually turned up a week later. Place an order with these cowboys at your peril.

Sent wrong item and won’t exchange

I have used monkey office for quite a number of years. Unfortunately I won’t be anymore. They have sent the wrong item to me and because I didn’t report it within 3 days they won’t exchange it. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

My order hasn't arrived after 10 days

I'm disappointed. Received order confirmation same day 02/11/18, then dispatch confirmations 06/11/18 with a section to track packages which didn't work Carrier is "VAN" and consignment number is "nku". On the website the track package bit goes to "page not found" All I can say is I hope they've got a tracker on that van!! It's now 18:30 on 12/11/18

Not in stock at all

Ordered some items which were showing in stock and should have been despatched same day, then they called the following day to say they didn't have any stock - order cancelled and placed elsewhere. Will not be back.

MonkeyOffice - Not A Positive Experience

My experience with MonkeyOffice has been both stressful and unsatisfactory. I waited in on the appointed delivery day, but UPS never turned up, and then when the package was finally delivered the following day, the cleaning wipes were not the ones that I had ordered on the site.

I have been promised a refund but, TBH, I wish I'd just purchased the item from a different company to start with.

Great customer experience

I was looking for an Air Purifier. Spotted what I wanted on Amazon then saw Monkey Office on Google. Same product was £45 less. Spare filters were £20 less. Had some reservations after reading trust pilot reviews but took a punt, paying with credit card. Placed order on Sunday 8 November. Received an immediate confirmation and received the goods on Tuesday 10 November. That's a great customer experience. I'd never heard of this company before but would certainly buy from them again.
