Why do I have to pay for my own business cards? Why is this expense not absorbed by the company?

I really like them, but I regret getting the larger size or at least not rounded but very good quality. I think this is more the heat than them. But a few did come like this, but I'm not upset.

Product looks and feels great, only issue is that the face of the cards peel off at the corners after a couple times handling them. They need a bit more glue.
