We appointed Morgan Clark at the outset of a complex property claim that ultimately took over a year to reach settlement.
From the beginning, their approach was structured, measured and professional. The team were thorough in their assessment of the damage, clear in their documentation, and consistent in their follow-up throughout what became a prolonged and challenging process. All staff we dealt with were professional and diligent in their roles.
Martin represented us from start to finish. He provided a balanced and realistic view at every stage, clearly explaining what was happening, what could reasonably be expected, and the likely timescales involved. Where progress stalled, he followed up methodically. Where positions shifted, he explained the implications calmly and factually. We always felt properly informed rather than reassured with false certainty.
One of the most significant benefits of engaging Morgan Clark was that they removed the need for us to deal directly with the insurer on day-to-day matters. Where do we start? While on holiday in January 2025 we got a call from our friend who was looking after our home, that our house had been devastated by a burst pipe in the loft, the water had been running for several days emptying a very large water tank that was continuously filling and emptying, destroying ceilings floors etc, after contacting our home insurance company they brushed it off , not understanding the full extent of the damage to our home.
Enter Morgan Clark, and the man who has been a total godsend to us, Martin Chapman, he has been there for us throughout this truly heartbreaking experience. He and his team have helped us in so many ways over the past year it’s really difficult to explain in a few sentence. We couldn’t move back into our home when we returned from our holiday and they found us temporary accommodation in the form of premier inns through relocate, until we found a temporary house to rent, our dog is in kennels and has been since December 30th 2024, and he is still there, thanks to Martin these costs have been met by our insurance company. The house was cleared by a restorative company, who took care of anything that could be salvaged.Martin has kept us informed throughout our ordeal, meeting us at the property several times to keep us updated on what was happening.
After surveyors reports etc, the estimated cost to put the house back to its original condition would cost in excess of the value of the house, Martin negotiated with the insurance and secured us a nice cash settlement for the property and loss of contents, which we accepted and has allowed us to purchase a nice little bungalow which we will be moving into in the not too distant future. Thanks Morgan Clark, and we really cannot thank Martin enough for his care, compassion and kindness that he has shown us throughout the worst year we have endured.

Previous loss adjusters had tried to get me to settle for a quick cash settlement to receive their cut fast, not caring about following results.
Not so with Pino at Morgan & Clarke. I don't think it's possible for a layman to resolve a major insurance claim without the help of a loss assessor.

In our case our insurer's loss adjuster tried to railroad us into still living in our property whilst they rebuilt it around us - we turned to Martin Chapman @ Morgan Clark and from then on we had someone who knew how the claims system works on our side making sure our interests were represented fairly.

Once we engaged Morgan Clarke they handled all the correspondence, meetings, surveys etc that were required to arrive at a schedule of works to repair our property, resolving all the issues that surfaced on the way (ie:asbestos in the render!?).

Our claim was large so Morgan Clarke's fee wasn't insignificant but my wife and I felt this was good value to actually resolve the matter so successfully.

I heartily recommend Martin, Faye and the rest of the Morgan Clarke team.

I had a fire at a property i own some distance from my home.
At the time i was caring for my elderly unwell mother.
The company i needed to assist was definitely Morgan Clarke.
Initially Robert Godlonton introduced himself with details from the fire brigade i could access to know more about the extent of damage, he also kindly took some pictures and sent to me after i checked out companies house and MorganClarks head office to reassure such a kind man was not bogus, I looked at their website to read all about the services Morgan Clark offer.
I am so glad I went ahead and instructed them to represent my best interests as loss assessors, to work in conjunction with my insurance company’s loss adjustor.
Every concern or question I had, and ensuring the smooth flow of the process, from securing my claim to settlement were dealt with promptly and with understanding.

They took the administrative burden off us as much as possible during a very stressful period after flooding of our house. They maximised our claims and helped us navigate the insurance system when we wanted to get additional work done on our house in addition to the insurance covered work.

I would say they are an absolute must have in any major insurance situation - Paul from Morgan Clark who dealt with our case gave us a sense of reassurance throughout and kept on to the insurers to make sure work got done and did all the coordination work. Highly recommend!
