Unfortunately for me my great mortgage broker sold his business to Mortgage 1st. Went from a really personal touch to just another transaction. These guys also send and invoice at 3 in the afternoon with a due date of that day! I don't expect my customers to pay immediately and don't expect companies providing a service to knock on your door with their hand open demanding money.

They also have a link to view and pay the invoice online but you can't pay online at all.. I think that gives you an idea of how good this company is at communicating and connecting with their customers.

This company provides a valuable service in finding a suitable mortgage for requirements. They provide options for conveyancers that are verifiable in TrustPilot. For Regulated Buy To Let mortages ( eg family lets ) they are a certified agent for Mansfield Building Society one of few companies that provide this . Value for money and good expertise.

This is the third time we’ve dealt with Mortgage 1st for our mortgage requirements. They go over and beyond with their help and advice, and have always secured the best possible deal for us. We would highly recommend their team - especially when it’s a more complex situation.

Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Our mortgage advisor Jenny is so friendly yet professional and knowledgable. She always responds quickly and explains everything thoroughly in a way that I understand. We used Jenny the last time we moved house, for subsequent remortgages and recently to move house again and in the middle of what is potentially a very stressful life event it’s reassuring to know I don’t have to worry about the mortgage side of things. We had a great experience when working with Shaun and Keeley from Mortgage 1st, being self employed it can be long winded to get approved for finance ETC but Shaun was on it straight away working along side the lender so i knew exactly what was needed to be sent in order to get the Mortgage over the line.
