A switch broke on my MG

A switch broke on my MG. A little disappointed that it failed but, I suppose at 75 years of age it was entitled to be a little brittle. Ordered a new one from Moss for £6.55 (including discount) and £4.00 standard postage. It arrived 3 days later, exactly what I wanted. Brilliant service, thanks very much.

Awful customer service

Contacted Moss and got a don't care attitude, no help or apology, just I'll report it!

So i order a mohair hood for a packaway…

So i order a mohair hood for a packaway frame and having had difficuties fitting it as it was so tight, i sell it on ebay. I find out later from the purchaser that its the wrong hood altogether and wont fit ther MGB either! Why can't Moss get things right for a change? Too big for their boots and personal service is clearly missing nowadays, never again... A waste of 700 quid...

Very expensive delivery charges for small parts - AVOID

I ordered a small spring for an SU carburettor for my MGB. The price of the spring was £4 but carriage added at £9. I ordered on a Friday evening but the item was despatched on the Monday, with tracking number provided on the invoice for TNT together with a link. This didn’t work so I contacted Moss for the correct tracking number - they advised it was sent by Evri, which is not what was stated on the invoice. I also complained on the carriage charge for a part that is the size of a penny and no heavier than about 10 grams. Royal Mail 48 hour tracked would have been £3.25 which is what I would have been happy to pay. They promised to raise this to ‘Senior Management’.

My advice is to AVOID. I’ll get my parts from MGOC or Brown and Gammons in future as they are more reasonable on charges.

Unhelpful service

Ordered an interior light, £10 for carriage, very expensive for a small item. Messaged them again within a few hours to ask for the order to be held, so that I may add more items and save another expensive charge. Not possible once the order had been printed.
Delivery via Royal Mail was poor,
Not a good experience, not the company they used to be,

Product problem

Had a problem with a fuel tank sender, contacted Moss via email with attached photo.
Their technical guy reviewed the photo and rang me, he made a couple of suggestions - tried them still had a problem.
The part was replaced with no quibbling and arrived in a couple of days.
That's what I call customer service.

Decent people to deal with

Ordered an aftermarket cat - back exhaust for my MX-5. Price for the item was fair and delivery was prompt.
However when it came to fit the exhaust the supplied gasket was incorrect. (Fortunately we could re use the original) on contacting Moss they were very helpful and prompt in sending out a replacement gasket. So while they didn't get it 100% right the first time they were quick to correct the issue.

Ordered TR6 rear bumper (rubbish service)

Ordered TR6 rear bumper (3 parts) in stock? 2 parts arrived told 7 days delivery, 4 weeks and just told no longer available. What is the good part of a bumper.
They are not interested in trying to sort the issue out.
AVOID.

Never again. 500€ in the wind.

Spent 500€. No reply whatsoever. Neither the .fr nor the .uk Customer Service deems a customer worth a reply.
I’ll deal with the tariffs and keep ordering from US. 500 bucks in the wind, no respect towards customers. Business must be going well.

Excellent company

Excellent company. Ordered a cobalt silencer for my mazda MX5 ND on a wednesday morning about 10.00am. Delivered next day 9.30. As advertised nsnad sounds awesome. One of the best on line experiences I've had.

I have used Moss Bristol and Feltham…

I have used Moss Bristol and Feltham for a number of years for different project cars I have had. I have to say sometimes the delivery has been a little 'tardy'. However yesterday I telephoned Bristol and spoke to Owen, he could not have been more helpful and polite and although he did not have the part I required there, he actioned it from the London branch and the prop-shaft arrived first thing this morning. Keep up the excellent service, it really does make a difference. Well done and thank you.

MOSS-EUROPE (UK/FR) are a guarantee!!!

I should write more 5 star reviews..! Maybe they had some problems before, but now they are ok!
I have placed more than one order with them from February 2023 to today, the support staff (Andrew and Nathan) have always been very professional and very helpful...
What can i say, MOSS-EUROPE (UK/FR) are a guarantee!!!

Extremely delayed delivery, ok product

The product was fine but I received it 4 months after I made the order. The only saving grace was that the customer support was always fast to respond, even though their responses did not give me any timeframe for when I was to expect the order to arrive.

Moss Europe. after being a regular user at Moss my most recent order was never received. I reported it to them, their response was rude and uncaring. They won't reply to emails. And a month still no refund.will never use them again.

Shocking

Shocking - visited the Manchester branch to pick up a few bits. Made to feel like I was an inconvenience to them. Bloke serving shouldn’t be customer facing. I’d scrap the car before using the ungrateful company again.
